5 stars isn't enough to express how amazing Sophrona and her team were. From the beginning, Sophrona listened to every idea we had and transformed them into a beautiful and perfect wedding day. We truly would have been lost without Sophrona! From answering my panicked late night texts, to random facetimes to go over the schedule (again and again) she seriously went above and beyond to make sure that we had the day of our dreams. I cannot recommend hiring Joyful Day, and Sophrona, enough!

Sophrona helped me plan not just one wedding, but three reschedules and two separate weddings — and both days turned out perfect. When I got engaged in January of 2020, I had no idea that my original wedding date of October 10, 2020, and then the reschedule date of June 5, 2021, wouldn’t occur until June 4, 2022 and that we’d lose important family members and welcome new ones in between. Sophrona took away the stress during these challenging life moments and completely handled the two reschedules. When my husband and I decided to do a small ceremony in March 2021 before our big June 4, Sophrona was on board for that too! Our small ceremony in Arizona was such a special day in the desert thanks to her thoughtful planning. Then, our huge party and vow renewal in Minnesota was incredible. The day went off without a hitch despite us essentially building a venue from scratch (tent! Trailer bathroom! Temporary kitchen for catering!) — vendors showed up on time and where they needed to be, the wedding party was able to relax and enjoy the party, and my husband and I had the best day ever. I’ll be forever grateful for Sophrona’s attention to detail, her relaxed and calming attitude, and for her Joyful Day team. Thank you!!!

If we could give Sophrona and her team ten stars, we would. She was absolutely vital to our wedding preparation and wedding day. She stuck with us through multiple Covid postponements. She is diligent, detailed oriented, smart, kind, reliable, prompt, hard working, and fun. She made our planning and wedding such a more enjoyable process. We are ever so grateful and couldn’t recommend her services enough!

I'm not sure there are enough words to describe how amazing Sophrona, and her team are! A month after our wedding, and my husband and I still talk about how absolutely amazing they are. We had to re-plan our entire wedding day in less than 60 days due to COVID-19, and I truly couldn’t have dreamed of doing it without Sophrona. She truly went above and beyond during the planning process with finding the best vendors for our wedding, and keeping us on track with everything that needed to be done. We gave her our vision and it turned out so much better than we ever could have imagined. We were so amazed at how every little detail came together with her. As a bride, I truly felt like I didn't need to think about a single thing on my wedding day - they handled everything from set up, take down, timeline… etc. I got to just show up and enjoy the day. Everything went according to plan, and ahead of schedule. Sophrona remembered and took care of even the smallest details we relayed to her. I cannot recommend them enough… worth every penny and more. We got married on Dec. 28th, 2019 and Sophrona was a life saver. She met with us multiple times to understand our vision for the day and make sure every detail was planned. She also worked with all of our vendors and answered any and all questions they had. The day of was a breeze for us because Sophrona helped coordinate and kept us on schedule. We would recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding planner!

Wedding planning right now is an absolute nightmare since the rules and regulations regarding gatherings are changing what feels like daily. Sophrona was an absolute blessing when it came to pulling my day together, and we couldn't have done it without her. Not only did she run the day of and make sure that everything ran smoothly, but she also helped with so many aspects of planning. She was so sweet. She and her assistant even partied with us on the dance floor! My wife is a very organized person and Sophrona made sure that our wedding day was as organized as it could be. Every bride should have a Gabi. She was absolutely my most important resource leading up to the big day and, most importantly, helped me enjoy my day fully because I knew she had the details covered. Gabi helped me finalize so many details, answered my questions, responded to emails quickly, helped me think of all the little things I didn't even know existed, and overall gave me peace of mind during what could have been an overwhelming time. I can't say enough about her attention to detail, strong communication skills, and understanding during the planning process, but what truly blew me away is what her team accomplished on my wedding day. Ellie was with me throughout the morning and helped me with even the tiniest tasks to make my day easier. Gabi ran around helping to ensure the ceremony went smoothly and then joined Sophrona at our venue for set up. And, let me just say, they knocked the venue set up out of the park. One of the highlights of my entire wedding day was walking into our venue before cocktail hour to see every little detail executed perfectly. Gabi and her team completely exceeded every expectation I had. They took every request and idea I had and made it happen (and made it even better than what I could have done myself). The rest of the night I rested easy knowing they had every thing covered. They helped bustle my dress, assisted with random requests, and helped things run smoothly (including packing everything up at the end of the night). I had such a low-stress day and I credit Joyful Day Weddings for making that possible. Gabi was one of the best investments we made for our wedding day!

Gabi was the best investment we made when planning our wedding day! Her attention to detail, empathy, industry knowledge and easy going personality made every decision so easy and seamless! About mid-way through the wedding planning process, I was in a terrible accident that resulted in two broken arms and some head trauma. Upon hearing the news, Gabi immediately jumped in and took charge to keep the planning in motion while I spent the summer recovering. Because she took the time to know our vision from the very beginning, I had full trust in her to make decisions on our behalf. I honestly can say that I do not know how this wedding would have happened without her!

We cannot recommend Gabi and her team strongly enough to coordinate your wedding day! We met with a few potential coordinators, but we decided to go with Gabi because we could tell from meeting with her that she was well-prepared, easy to work with, and committed to making our day run as smoothly as possible -- and we are so happy we made that choice, because she was everything we were looking for! We went with the month-of coordination package, and it was definitely much more than just day-of coordination. Gabi and her team were so helpful with preparing a timeline, coordinating with our vendors, and making sure that everything was taken care of so we could have a stress-free wedding day. Because we trusted Gabi to take care of all of the moving pieces throughout the day, we were able to focus on enjoying our wedding day and live in the moment without worrying about distractions -- and that is truly priceless. Our day felt so perfect and we can't imagine pulling it off without Gabi! We recommend Joyful Day Weddings for anyone looking for a coordinator -- it'll be the easiest and best choice you make.

Gabi was incredible to work with for our wedding at the Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis. She helped to bring our vision to life which ended up being the most perfect day we could have ever asked for. Our wedding party even joked that the worst thing about our wedding was that it was TOO perfect! If you are unsure of who to select as your wedding planner or are trying to decide if you even WANT a wedding planner – I’m here to tell you that Gabi is worth every single penny (and even more, in my opinion!) and I couldn't imagine my wedding without her. She is everything you’d want in someone who is planning the most important day of your life – kind, approachable, positive, organized, detailed, and flexible. She is calm, cool and collected – something every bride (and mother of the bride) needs! She is on top of everything and could answer any question that day coming at her from every angle.
