Hi, welcome to our page! My name is Danielle, Owner and Senior Wedding Planner at Joyful Journey Engagements. As long as I can remember, I've been involved in the event world- with experience in everything from private parties and weddings, live productions, dinner theatre, coorporate events, fundraising for nonprofit, leadership conferences, and more. I earned a formal degree in Hospitality Management and moved to Ecuador for a year, where JJE was born. Since then, I've moved back to AZ and am honored to help couples plan their dream wedding in the U.S. and beyond!

Danielle and her team were spectacular. I tried to plan my wedding without help but ultimately realized I’d need support if I wanted to enjoy my day fully. Joyful Journey Engagements was the perfect amount of coordination I needed. We used the Day of Coordination service and Danielle gave our event undivided and careful attention. She was ON IT. We had about 4 meetings prior to our wedding, she attended a venue walk through and was extremely responsive over text and email. I had already done most of the planning — venue, decorations, event layout, vendors, invites, website — but Danielle asked all the questions I wasn’t thinking about. She was fantastic with timelines, logistics and details. Having her with us during our venue walkthrough was very helpful - she made sure things like dj hook ups, set up logistics, food details were all sorted.
She seamlessly took over communication with our vendors, day before rehearsal and tied up all final loose ends. Danielle gave me complete peace of mind and gave me the gift of relaxation of my wedding day.
She made sure my vision came to life and clarified details with me if anything was unclear.
I truly cannot thank Danielle and her team enough. My family members also commented on how on top of they were.
For anyone questioning bringing on help - do it! And choose Joyful Journey Engagements. Hiring them was the BEST decision I made.

I got engaged in February 2024, and my wedding was on October 26, 2024. I believe I booked Danielle June 2024 for the day of the genie package on short notice due to my poor time management. Danielle and her husband were excellent throughout the whole process. It truly felt like I had a friend during this stressful time, and Danielle was super organized and checked everything off the list. She was reassuring that my event would be fun and beautifully decorated. I recommend having a wedding coordinator at your wedding, and I 100 percent recommend Danielle at yours. Despite my low budget, Danielle was able to work with it and worked through curveballs such as my lack of communication and time management. Danielle went above and beyond for my wedding, and I am truly grateful and blessed to have hired her. Not only did I hear compliments from vendors/ makeup artists but also from my family and guests. My father pointed out that during my wedding, Danielle did not leave my side, and she was able to communicate efficiently with my husbands and my side of the family, who only speak Spanish. I only recommend booking Danielle months in advance to avoid any last-minute decisions because vendors get booked quickly. Danielle and her team also beautifully decorated the reception at my home. Danielle brought my vision to life, and it radiated elegance.

A joyful journey it truly was!
From our initial consultation, we were instantly drawn in by Danielle’s kind and genuine demeanor. Selecting JJE as our planning partner was then the easiest and most obvious decision. Danielle has high attention to detail, thorough organization, extensive resources, and, most importantly, a love for what she does. This gave us confidence and peace that the outcome would be beautifully successful.
On our wedding day, JJE executed our plans wonderfully, and we received countless compliments from our guests about Danielle and her team. Danielle has been such a wonderful resource for my now-husband and I while planning our wedding in 4 months! Her communication is on point and things get done in a very timely fashion. INCREDIBLE!! Danielle and her JJE team are phenomenal. Investing in Danielle was our best move. Danielle exceeded our expectations, going above and beyond. She thinks of every detail possible and makes a plan/finds a solution. She has amazing people skills- coordinating, communicating, and interacting with guests and vendors. Her communication is exemplary- she is friendly yet very professional and keeps you up to speed and on track. Her organization is exceptional- there are so many moving parts and she keeps track of them all and easily accessible. I loved working with JJE! We started working together 6 months before the big day and it made it so much easy to stay on track with our planning. The wedding day went by so smooth, I did not worry about anything! I felt like Danielle really thought about all the little details I couldn't remember. She took care of the logistics of the big day so I would enjoy my time with family and guests. I definitely recommending hiring a coordinator for the big day and Danielle was very considerate of all our needs and she understood and embraced the celebration of our culture and love.

Danielle is great! She took my wedding day so personally and helped me from planning my bachelorette party to say "I do". her bilingual skills helped me and my family a lot since my wedding was a mix of spanish speakers and english speakers. When Danielle is planning your wedding she doesnt become just your wedding planner but she becomes that friend who is always there to help you in those little stressful moments and make them way easier on you! Just like when my wedding was meant to be an outside wedding and the weather decided to change drastically and she made verything go smoothly as possible! Thanks Danielle!
