From the moment we made our booking, the entire team was incredibly professional and accommodating with the special touches we wanted to make the day special. They took the time to understand both of our musical preferences and the general vibe we wanted at our wedding, On the big day, the DJ was honestly spectacular. He seamlessly blended the songs we wanted with a healthy mix of songs that kept the dance floor hot the entire night. The way the DJ read the room flawlessly, which resulted in an electrifying atmosphere throughout our reception. From our perspective, the transitions were smooth, and the music that was used really engaged the entire party, which was definitely confirmed when our guests heaped compliments on the DJ, his music selections, and his ability to keep people on the dance floor having fun! I hired Lionelto perform at my wedding and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Lionel was absolutely phenomenal and helped make my special day unforgettable. From the initial consultation to the last song of the night, Lionel was extremely professional, attentive, and accommodating. They were receptive to our music preferences and made sure to include all of our favorite songs in their setlist. Lionel also did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music that kept everyone on the dance floor. What impressed me the most about Lionel was their ability to seamlessly transition between songs and keep the energy level high throughout the night. They had a great sense of timing and knew exactly when to slow things down and when to pick things up. I also appreciated that they were able to mix in some of our favorite songs with popular hits to keep everyone engaged.

I cannot express how amazing Lionel from Joyful Sound Entertainment performed at my wedding! Lionel took care of the music for my ceremony and reception! Between Lionel and the MC Isaiah, the party never stopped! I had so many guests coming up to me during and after the wedding exclaiming how amazing they were! Lionel and the whole Joyful Sound Entertainment crew were an absolute delight to work with. Before talking with them, I felt a little lost an overwhelmed about who to select as my wedding DJ. DJ prices seemed all over the place, and I didn't really know exactly what I wanted in a DJ. Fortunately, after some aimless internet searches, I got lucky and sent a message to Joyful Sound Entertainment. My first impression from talking with Lionel was that he was a true professional and would be a calming and positive force in all the craziness that goes into wedding planning. After interacting with Lionel a few times, I was sure that he really cared about making my wedding a special night and providing his services at a fair price. He was attentive, responsive, and easy to work with, so I would definitely give Joyful Sound Entertainment 5 stars for the pre-wedding aspect. Then came the wedding. Lionel and his team were well prepared for the day, they created a great cocktail hour/dinner playlist that included influence from us and just enough crowd pleasers to get the night started right, they interacted with the crowd to get everyone involved, and brought the exact amount of energy that we wanted to the dancing portion of the wedding. It was truly the best night of my life, and I am so grateful to Lionel and his team for making the DJ portion of my wedding a low stress, reasonably priced, and extremely fun. You will not regret hiring Joyful Sound Entertainment.

If you don’t book Joyful Sound for your wedding I promise you will regret!! Lionel and Isaiah were amazing and my husband and I couldn’t not have asked for more. We had Joyful Sound play music at the ceremony and reception. They gave me so much comfort that everything would run smoothly. They kept the party going ALL NIGHT LONG and never let us have an empty cup or empty plate. Lionel had some fun game ideas to play at the reception and sent me song suggestions when we were stuck. Finally, as if this all wasn’t enough, they sent us a wedding video with clips from the whole day! I couldn’t be more thankful I booked Joyful Sound and I would recommend to anyone. The two things I cared about when it came to wedding planning was food and music. I knew that I wanted a DJ who could accommodate an audience with a wide range of interests as it relates to music genres. I sought Lionel out about a year before my wedding. He was very reliable and fast with his responses to my many inquiries. After about 3 days I knew, he was going to be the right guy. After working with Lionel leading up to the wedding, I found out that he is from Haiti (a country with a diverse cultural background; likely exposing him to many genres of music), he served in the U.S. Army for over 10 years, and he has experience being a DJ in club settings. Lionel did an amazing job at our wedding and played music genres ranging from Polish Polka to today’s rap and hip hop. I’m a very loyal person who likes doing well for those who treat me well. Lionel was the best DJ I could have asked for on the best day of my life. I would recommend him to any couple getting married. He kept people on the dance floor while accommodating all our requests. Lionel and his MC are perfect for you wedding day. They are extremely entertaining and are by far the best wedding DJ duo I have ever seen, and it was MINE! They know all the write games to play and things to say to keep your guests and you laughing hysterically all night. Even when I, the bride, had to step out for like an hour due to pregnancy heat (literally from dancing around too much), I came back, and they still had my party hopping! Their planning process is thorough and Lionel is on top of communication leading up to the wedding. They say, don't low-ball when it comes to paying for a DJ. But Joyful Sounds is extremely affordable, and you get FAR MORE than what you pay for with this team. I am so thankful I ran into them at the bridal show. Thank you Lionel, you made our wedding unforgettable for us and everyone who attended. I have received so many compliments on our DJ selection since the wedding. :)

DJ C Low is the BEST DJ around! Our wedding guests loved him! We were so impressed. He was easy to get ahold of throughout the entire process. Even had a planning meeting with us and helped with a timeline! Above and beyond. 10/10!!

Joyful Sound was great! Communicative and worked with me to make sure the evening would go smoothly. One less thing to worry about! I had made a looooong list of songs I liked, but he was able to read the room and take guest requests which turned out awesome!

Lionel was the DJ at my wedding and he did an awesome job! He played a great mix of music and had everyone, both old and young, up dancing and forming a conga line. I knew when I met Lionel, he’d be the perfect DJ for our wedding! He was so professional & organized, knew just what to play & when to play it, and was so wonderful to work with. My Fiancé and I are salsa dancers but our family & friends were an eclectic crowd, so it was great that he knew just the right mix of songs to get everybody on the dance floor! Also, I’ve attended plenty of weddings, but never planned one & didn’t realize how much goes into the reception and the music. Lionel took all the guess work out of it for me & My Fiancé and set my mind at ease since he knew just what to do! It was a great experience & I highly recommend Joyful Sound!
