Joyous 442 was a God-send for my wedding! Not only did Vicki & her crew make all of my Pinterest dreams come true and decorate everything the for me, they kept the entire wedding organized & running smoothly. AND they cleaned everything up at the end of the night. They were there perfect resource for a very stressed out bride with wedding day jitters. Some of my favorite things: - wedding day timeline: a schedule that literally start from the time you wake up on your wedding day, to the minute you exit your reception. - decor spread: descriptions (with pictures & prices) that lay out what your decorations will look like - all sent in time to make any last minute changes. So super professional, y’all. You won’t regret using them!

Where to even begin.... Vicki and her team were absolutely incredible. I know for a fact if I didn't have her to help us from day one, our wedding would have looked very different. Vicki and her team are not just great at their job, but they are the absolute sweetest humans everrrrr! The day of our wedding was a dream come true, I don't think there was a moment where I was even stressed out one time or had any doubts that my wedding day wasn't going to be one of the best days of our lives. Vicki Thayer was absolutely incredible. She was extremely professional, but also super fun. (my bridesmaids were obsessed with her). She even went above and beyond. The night before my wedding I had a panic attack because I forgot my name cards for our head table. I texted Vicki at 11pm (once I realized this issue) and she hand printed and cut all of the place cards so that I wouldn't have to worry. HIGHLY recommend Joyous 22 for your special day!

Vicki and the Joyous 442 team was absolutely incredible! I was blown away with how well they transformed the space of my event center! I highly recommend her to any couple. She captured my vision so well, and gave the best advice when needed. Everything went so smoothly on wedding day!

Vicki planned a beautiful and amazing wedding for my daughter. It was my daughter's dream wedding!! We hired Joyous 442 because the Bride and mother of the bride work and we live two hours away from where the wedding and the reception were going to be held. This turned out to be the best decision we made!! She was very professional and timely with her responses. She is a great listener and can take your ideas and make them come to life. My daughter loved how Vicki was honest with her. Whether things would look good or not. Where we could cut if we had to and so forth. The Bride never felt pushed into doing something she didn't want to do. Vicki made sure it all worked together. She also led us to some wonderful Vendors. Vicki coordinated appointments on the same day so this was less time off from work for both my daughter and myself. The best compliment we heard was that this wedding was both unique and beautiful.

Shelby and Vicki were the absolute best! We could not have had such a great wedding without all of their help. They were always patient with my emails and happy to answer all of my questions. Our wedding day was perfect and went off without a hitch thanks to all f their hard work.

Vicki and her team are fabulous! I had an idea of what I wanted and my color scheme in mind, but I was clueless when it came to making it all come together. In comes Vicki and her team who made everything flawless! We had so many compliments on not only our decor the day of the wedding, but with how smoothly everything was run (shoutout to Shelby for that!). Vicki and her team did such a great job taking care of us the day of. She made me feel so comfortable and her and her team made sure we were taken care of! Not only did she help organize but decorated my venue beautifully! We couldn’t have done it without J442!

I was a photographer at a wedding with Joyous442 and I absolutely LOVED them. Shelby and Amanda are hands down the best coordinators I’ve ever worked with. They cared so much about the couple getting good photos. I’ve worked with planners who rushed the timeline at the expense of the couple getting good photographs and I was so happy with how Shelby and Amanda prioritized the photos- AND the day still stayed on time and ran so smooth. They were quick to fix any little problem and attentive to the couple. As someone whose worked with a ton of planners, it means a lot when I say they are my favorite I’ve ever worked with!!!!

My daughter and I originally met with Vicki and Shelby a few months before my daughter's wedding. Vicki was going to be at another wedding on Oct. 12th so Shelby handled my daughter's wedding. She, along with her helper Sharon, were awesome. Shelby thought of tiny little things that meant so much, like giving my daughter and husband a few minutes alone to catch their breath, before the reception. She's the best!

I'm writing this as we are just returning from our honeymoon, and reflecting back on everything we could not be happier with how our day went! Vicki and the J442 team made that happen!! She was the first person we hired about 10 months before our wedding. She so clearly understood our vision from the beginning and helped us w/ everything from narrowing down the perfect vendors to listening to my now-husband and I's anxious phone calls! She always answered when we called, responded to texts and emails promptly. If not right away, I always got a response back within the next few days apologizing for not responding right away and answering whatever I needed which was completely fine with me. The whole planning process was made so streamlined by her help that there was no need for an immediate response on anything anyway. None of our concerns went unanswered. Anything we asked of her, she always told us she would make it happen and delivered. My husband and I were lucky to have very involved parents as well, who were also calling/emailing/texting her about many of the details. She was always receptive to them as well and addressed any concerns they had. On the big day, not a single thing went wrong and all my family and I had to do was relax and watch the greatness come together! Vicki and her staff were always right there with my husband and I throughout the whole wedding making sure we had everything we needed, holding my crap for me, and always making sure we had drinks in our hands ;) Most importantly, we were able to have a BLAST and not worry about anything. Not to mention, the venue was decorated BEAUTIFULLY and exactly fit how we imagined it to look. The majority of decor we used came from her. I highly recommend the FULL planning package which we had, as it takes almost everything off your shoulders! I cannot imagine going through this whole process without it. At the end of the night, all of our things were loaded in the getaway car along with some to-go containers of food in a cute little Joyous 442 cooler bag. Our day was made completely stress-free for us and our families. We have gotten multiple compliments from friends and family about how fantastic, beautiful and fun the wedding was. We could not be happier with how our day went and words cannot explain how grateful we are for Vicki and her team! We highly recommend Joyous 442 to help make your day as amazing as ours was! We could not be happier that we chose to work with Vicki and her team. They are adaptable and super easy to get along with. I never felt pressured or rushed to make decisions and every time asked if something could be done I was answered with a smile and “absolutey!” They eased all my fears and my day ran so smoothly, not to mention the beautiful design that truly surpassed my expectations!

It was 100% worth it, hiring Vicki at Joyous442! She and her team were amazing throughout the planning process. As MOB, I was able to relax and enjoy my daughters wedding, stress free. J442 was a dream to work with. We had a short time span to get the wedding planned in & Vicki did everything she could to get exactly what we wanted. Her & her team were a dream to work with throughout the entire process. Our wedding night was amazing, down to every detail! We couldn’t have done it without them! Kind, fun, detail oriented; PLUS if anything was wrong, we definitely didn’t know! They were so at ease the entire evening & everything was PERFECT.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joyous 442 and how they did an amazing job for my wedding! Vicki was amazing and helped to make sure that everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. I completely trusted Vicki and let her design my wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. Vicki was fabulous to work with for our daughter's wedding last weekend that we hosted at our ranch. I purchased her "Month of" package which was perfect for us as we had all of the major decisions already made we just needed help with the last minute details. Right away she came up with some great ideas we hadn't thought of. I can't say enough good things about the day of the wedding. She was always right there asking me if I needed anything and checking on the caterer, bartenders, the band and the other vendors that we had. I have to say if anything went wrong the day of I don't know about it as she handled all of the details all evening long. I would highly recommend Vicki.

We have worked with Vikki on numerous occasions now and they have always done a wonderful job. We work with many planners and florists and rarely feel the need to review their services. Joyous 442 did such an amazing job for our wedding! From the day she was hired to the day the wedding came, Vicki was amazing! She helped bring my vision of my wedding to life and was so informative and helpful with details along the way. Til this day we still get so many compliments from the decor from the day of our wedding. You won’t regret hiring Vicki and her team, they’re all so amazing and sweet.

If anyone is looking for a wedding planner Vicki Thayer is your lady!! She was so amazing! Tom and I lived in Houston but we’re having our wedding in San Antonio. Vicki was based in Floresville... you would’ve never known we were in different cities! To give you an idea of the event she help plan...We had rough estimate of about 270 guests at our wedding. The ceremony and reception were both at the St. Anthony Hotel. We had photographers, videographers, a band, two outside cake vendors, rentals from Joyous 442, and a cigar company rolling cigars throughout the evening! My mother and I had already booked a venue, photographer, and band when Vicki came into the picture! She helped coordinate all my current vendors and helped fill in the holes for the remainder! Her vision was EXACTLY what I couldn’t exactly describe! She read in between the lines and Pinterest boards and helped create the most perfect day for Tom and I! Always available by text, call, or email when I would have random questions or needed advice! At the time I was working nights, so even if I contacted her at odd hours she was prompt to respond. I also think there might’ve been a few times where I couldn’t make decisions... and I trusted her judgement and taste that I said just handle it! And that’s exactly what she did, execution was perfect! She really made it a streamlined wedding planning experience from start to finish! I really appreciated how respectively honest Vicki was as well. I would ask for recommendations or her opinion and she always kept it very real! Even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear!! I was ever so grateful for that. The day of the wedding was effortless for me! Vicki and her team arrived at the time she had planned on the schedule and made sure EVERYTHING was in its place and that neither Tom nor I had to lift a single finger or worry about anything but saying “I do!” Her organization was astounding! Vicki even has a little “day of” toolbox with last minute odds and ins in case anyone needs anything! (She came in clutch with my garter!) Everyone always asked me how the wedding planning was going and my response was always “fabulous and stress free! My wedding planner has everything handled.” I will always share our day with Vicki! Thank you so so much! You were beyond amazing!!

I absolutely loved Joyous 442!! Vicki did an amazing job with my decorations and planning my special day. My wedding with Joyous 442 was a dream. Everything went as planned and I did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day. My mom and I can’t thank this amazing team enough for making my wedding beautiful and special!

I waited a few weeks after my wedding to write this review because I was pretty upset immediately after the wedding and wanted to get my thoughts together. Although everything went well, I can't say that I would recommend Vicki. From the very beginning of the planning process I was confused because I read all of her stellar reviews on the Knot and I did not have the same experience. Vicki would take multiple weeks to respond to my emails and I don't think she ever once reminded me of something I needed to do or called to check how the planning process was going. I am a very organized, type A person, so I was on top of everything, but I felt like she was absent for the entire process. The fact that I never heard from her unless I reached out made me think that she was not doing anything to prepare for my wedding. I felt very stressed out and like I was doing everything on my own. Even when I would ask her to do something, it would typically take several days longer than she said it would and I would have to keep following up about it. I will say that Vicki can be very nice, so that made it difficult for me to leave her this review, but I feel obligated to be honest so that other brides don't hire her based on good reviews like I did. Here are some of the main issues I had with Vicki: She was 30 minutes late to my rehearsal (an event that she coordinates) so we were all standing around waiting for her. She told me at the rehearsal that instead of arriving to the venue at 9 am as previously planned and written on our timeline, she would be arriving at 11 am. The venue coordinator had to ask me multiple questions on the morning of because vendors were arriving and Vicki was not there to direct them. She left plastic storage tubs sitting out on our memory table with the photos of our loved ones who have passed and did not remove them until I finally noticed and asked her to. I felt that the entire decor process was rushed and I wasn't able to see any of it prior to the reception. My bridal party and I set up a lot of the photos and items I brought because we started worrying that she wouldn't have it done in time. My first look was over an hour late (I still do not know why because I was standing there ready to go) and Vicki was nowhere to be found. She never brought the boutonnieres to the groomsmen or had them pin them on. She never brought the wedding rings to the best man, but luckily my MOH noticed and brought them to him in time for the ceremony. The timeline kept changing and right as we were walking outside to take photos, Vicki asked us to come back in and cut our cake (last minute change of plan). As a result, the cake cutting was not announced and no one even knew it happened. No one told us to pack our belongings or asked which bags we wanted to go in the limo with us, so my husband and I ended up at our hotel without my cell phone and the only thing I had to wear was my wedding dress. Although she says this is not true, all of my bridesmaids and my family told me that she and her team packed their own items while they packed and loaded all of the decor I brought, despite her contract stating that her team does this. Finally, she complained and basically talked trash about other clients to me on multiple occasions, including telling me how one of her couples got in a big fight because they were drunk. Overall, I think Vicki is a talented decorator but not organized enough to be a wedding planner.

Worst of the worst. Do not trust this woman. Vicky 100% lied and lead us on the whole time. She had to initially credit is $800 a month before the wedding because of her self admitted failures. Most importantly she never intended to show up at the wedding. We did not find out she was sending two people we never met the whole 12 months of planning until the day of the wedding when Vicki was not there. Do not make the mistake of hiring her.

We really enjoyed working with Vicki! She corrdinated all of our vendors and just made the day-of stress melt away! I knew it was handeled! Vicki also put our design together making our day so beautiful! I would recommend using Vicki as your wedding coordinator/designer! She helped make my vision come to life!

Vicki was very easy to work with. She had great communication and she listened to what I wanted for my wedding. She made the decoration process stress free and did a beautiful job! I truly believe her prices were super reasonable and after seeing the whole look complete, could not believe it was not more. I received so many compliments on her gorgeous decor style!

We worked with Joyous 442 for month-of and day-of wedding coordination as well as furniture and decor rentals. Vicki is a true professional! She took on my vision, my fears, and all the kinks we hadn't worked out yet and delivered the beautiful, truly "joyous" wedding of our dreams. She always made time for us to meet with her, never let me feel worried, and always had an "I've got this" attitude that was so appreciated in the stress of an upcoming wedding. There were minute details we hadn't even thought of, and Vicki caught and fixed each one. Day-of, she and her team were helping with everything from the ceremony, to full setup of the reception, to communicating with all vendors so that my family and I never had to, to keeping everyone on schedule and in line. Our rentals were all beautiful and in great condition, and they draped and lit the ceiling in a way that transformed our venue. I don't know how we could've done any of it without J442! I would (and will!) recommend them to any bride.

Vicki and her team did an awesome job making Ashley & Chris' wedding absolutely beautiful. She was such a pleasure to work with and took care of EVERYTHING on the wedding day. Let me start by saying I couldn't have survived the last month leading up to the wedding or the wedding day without Vicki and her team. Vicki took care of EVERYTHING. I was able to enjoy every aspect of my wedding day because of this amazing woman. It seemed like any last minute questions I asked my bridal party were answered with, "Vicki already took care of it." She also designed the wedding of my dreams! Vicki created a reception more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She took my simple idea and turned it into something incredible! I truly loved working with her and her team!

This woman... Oh! My! Goodness!! Vicki & her team are absolutely amazing. From our very first meeting, I was so happy we booked her. She had such great ideas & really listened to what we had visioned for our wedding day. I had told her a color scheme & a couple things I liked & boy, did she deliver! She transformed an old dance hall into a beautiful wedding venue. I didn't even think it was the same place! Leading up to the wedding, I had several people ask me "how are you not stressed out right now?" and every time I told them Vicki had everything taken care of so there was no reason to be stressed. It was so nice to actually get to enjoy my wedding day, and it is all thanks to her. We used Vicki for our invitations/ programs (which I was obsessed with!), planning, coordination and decor (which I was also obsessed with!!). Not only is Vicki a professional at what she does, but she is wonderful person. She has become one of my friends & I actually miss our meetings. The Joyous 442 team is so sweet as well and helped make our wedding day better than we could have imagined. Joyous 442- thank you so much for everything! You really are the best ever!!

If I could give 100 STARS -- I would -- WOW, just WOW! I got married on June 23, 2018 & hired Joyous 442 for Month of Coordination, and they surely out did themselves. I was an out of town bride, and the minute I talked to Vicki on the phone I knew she was the one I wanted. There was something comforting about her and I never once doubted her taste nor her suggestions. From start to finish, Vicki was quick to respond to emails and make suggestions; she quickly answered any question or concern that I had. Vicki also made my beautiful invitations, as well as the information & rsvp cards. Additionally, she did the non-floral decor for the reception, which was impeccable! Budget was tight, but Vicki provided many options to choose from. On the day of the wedding, she was a BOSS! Got floral where it needed to be, everything I needed displayed was done without any hesitation. I virtually had to worry about NOTHING! Even the little hiccups we had with food/bar service, Vicki and her assistant, Chelsey, took care of it. Chelsey was also very attentive to us (my husband and I) throughout the wedding making sure we had everything we needed & that we were enjoying ourselves. Chelsey also made our beautiful/unique signs for the bar. After the wedding, we dealt with a few hiccups that Vicki went out of her way to help us with. I will be forever grateful for Vicki & Chelsey as they made one the most special days of our lives' run so smoothly. They are worth every dang penny & more. We received so many compliments on the elegant, yet simple decor. My mom & sisters were also highly impressed by their ability to get things DONE! THANK YOU VICKI & CHELSEY!

Let me just say going into the wedding planning I was completely clueless as to how much time and attention to detail it takes to plan a wedding and didn't realize how much I needed a wedding coordinator until I started working with Vicki and Chelsey! And thank goodness I did! They were both EXTREMELY knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and completely took the reins to make sure everything came together for our special day. They coordinated everything with all of our vendors so I didn't have to and even provided beautiful decor (welcome signs, card box, etc.) Chelsey has a talent for hand lettering and did an amazing job with all the name tags and reservation tables. Everything was beautiful! If there were any problems or issues the day of my wedding, I was unaware. My wedding day was a dream come true thanks to these two. Thank you so much!! Can't recommend them enough!

Vicki and the whole J442 crew did an amazing job with our December wedding! I looked for specific colored table covers and napkins and she worked her magic and found the perfect ones! We are so happy with the coordination and everything they offered! Would definitely recommend!

I used Joyous 442 for decorating & coordinating my wedding and to say they did an amazing job is an understatement!! Vicki brought my vision to life and I couldn't have pictured a more perfect day. Vicki and her team are absolutely amazing! My wife and I met with a handful of wedding coordinators before we met with Vicki and we fell in love with her! She is very professional and took a ton of stress out of planning our wedding. She found us great vendors for everything that we needed and when she could, she would provide the services herself. She designed our Wedding Invitations and Thank You Cards and they turned out amazing. We had guests that complimented us on just how nice they were. She helped structure our timeline leading up to the wedding and on our big day, we had no stresses in whether everything would be ready for our venue. Vicki and her team made the venue look absolutely beautiful, a complete transformation from the day of the rehearsal to the day of the wedding. She was an blessing for my wife and I and we have told everyone that we know to contact her if they are getting married. We will definitely be using Joyous 442 for all of our big events in the future!

Just want to express my sincerest, most deepest gratitude for making my daughter's special night a memorable experience, not only for her. You both were my peace! Vicki did an incredible job. I feel like she took the time to hear what I personally wanted and get to understand mine and my husband's style. She kept us thoroughly informed, even accommodated for evening communication so my mom and I could both speak with her at the same time. Vicki has a gentle calm about her and she is able to get things accomplished without being a bossy planner, which I'm sure was no easy task when it came to wrangling in the groomsmen. We loved working with her, I wish I had another major event to hire her for!

Vicki and all of the women at Joyous 442 were amazing! They provided all of the decorations for our wedding and they were stunning! Everything turned out perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with! I highly recommend!

I was SO thankful to have Joyous 442 on board with my wedding! We booked for the day of coordinator package and it was great. The day of the wedding I didn't worry about anything. Vicki handled it all and my husband told me how thankful he was for her as well! We rented centerpieces for the reception tables and they were perfect. The timeline was detailed and lined everything out that we needed. She got in contact with all our vendors which took a lot of stress off of myself and my right hand woman (my mom) Our wedding day went over perfectly, and I was super thankful for Vicki and her team the whole time!

If I could give one piece of advice to new brides it would be to hire a wedding coordinator. Hiring Vicki was the single best decision we made in all this. Not only is she a great wedding coordinator but she is an even better person. She was an absolute joy to work with. She has impeccable taste, pays attention to every single detail and does it all with grace and class. Our somewhat crazy non-traditional wedding was perfect and went off without a hitch. (And if there was a hitch then Vicki made sure I didn't know about it.) We will definitely be using Joyous442 for all of our future events!

One of the best pieces of advice we received when we got engaged - hire a wedding coordinator!! One of the best decisions we made at the beginning of our planning - hiring the RIGHT coordinator. I can't say enough praise about Vicki! From the very beginning she went above and beyond for us. During the whole process she was quick to respond and get us various and extensive vendor quotes. There were many times she knew little tricks to help up cut down costs and stay within our budget. She knew what questions to ask, and willingly spoke up if she thought a vendor was unfair or unfit. The week leading up to my wedding had a heavy chance of storms all week, including our wedding day. Without even being asked, Vicki worked with my venue owner and our tent rental company to create two different rain plans (only to switch everything back to plan A after rain showers ended at noon the day of our wedding)! I didn't have to coordinate any delivery or pickups because Vicki worked with our venue. My favorite part about having the Joyous 442 crew - I had absolutely zero stress the day of my wedding. I got to focus on being a bride, enjoy the excitement of marrying my husband and being with my girls, Mom, and Mother-in-law all day because I knew that Vicki had it covered. Working with Vicki is a true joy. She has a servant heart for other people, but is bold enough to fight for her clients and make sure their day is perfect!

I can NOT say enough about how great Vicki is. I fell in love with both her and her designs the first day we met her. She took the stress away from having to worry about planning every little detail. All I had to do was show her some colors of what I wanted and she took it from there and she completely blew us away. She goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want on your special day, if not more! Anytime anyone mentions getting married, I tell them they need Vicki.

I am the mother of the bride and we wanted to plan this wedding ourselves, but planning a wedding that is 4.5 hours from home in a rather remote area became difficult. We were overwhelmed; I knew that we needed professional help, but we were still on a budget. From the very first phone conversation it was very clear that Vicki has a sweet spirit and was very willing to cater her services to exactly what we wanted and needed. We hired her for partial planning services and she was definitely a Godsend. She will do her best to keep you on budget and help you to get exactly what you want. She took our design ideas and brought them to life beautifully. Vicki and the Joyous 442 team are wonderful and they took care of every detail on the day of the wedding. Not having to concern yourself with decorating details or any other wedding details on the day of the wedding is priceless. She helped to give my daughter the wedding of her dreams. I will actually miss talking to Vicki now that the wedding is over; she was more than our wedding planner, she became a friend. I highly recommend Joyous 442 for their planning and design services, you will not be disappointed!

Vicki was amazing and went above and beyond what we actually hired her to do! We purchased the Day of Cordator package, however, she did much more than that. She was always available for questions and was always quick to respond!! She also helped with the design and look of the wedding. She even through in some of her own decor at no extra cost!
