I loved working with JP and his wife and second photographer, Crystal. They shot our engagement photos, bridal portraits, rehearsal dinner, getting ready shots, ceremony, reception...
, AND brought the photo booth.
Our primary reasons for choosing JP Beato III Photography: his journalistic style and the fact that he does not charge a travel fee. I may have taken advantage of this with having all shoots in separate cities across Texas. However, he knew just how to pose us and understood that it is incredibly uncomfortable to pose if you're not a professional model.
If you're interested in more information, email him. He's very busy, but very much worth it. Also, his daughter is adorable and you should follow him on Facebook just for pictures of her.
My husband and I decided to get married on a short notice, only 2 months after our engagement. We contacted every photographer in town but we had fallen in love with JP Beato's pho...
tography a long time ago. We made sure to call, e-mail, send smoke signals to him.... later we found out that he was on vacation but as soon as he came back he said he was available!
So here are the reasons why JP was amazing at out wedding:
1. He met PERSONALLY with us to discuss our expectations and what we were looking for. He took the time to know us as people and based on that he created a perfect style for our wedding.
2. JP is a documentary photographer. He stays in the background while the day goes on. This means REALLY GREAT spontaneous photos. Almost all my friends said they cried when they saw our photos because they looked so natural ad sincere.
3. High quality service. There is not much to say about this one. Even though our wedding was small, JP treated just as all the big weddings he has done in the past. He had lots of lighting equipment, a second photographer, and he was just very professional.
JP is an amazing photographer. He was patient with me even though I hate having my pictures taken. His pictures are classic and not over done.
Although we haven't gotten our pictures back yet (it's only been 3 weeks), JP has been super helpful every step of the way. It was 30º on the day of our Engagement Shoot and raini...
ng on the day of my bridals but he found a way to make it work every time. The pictures all look great and he has been so easy to work with.
