I have used JP mixology for several parties and I had no complaints about them. This year I booked two bar tenders for March 2nd and paid them to hold the ...
date. March 2nd I got up and saw a text from James stating they were both sick and could not bar tend. He said he would refund me my money when he went to the office on Tuesday. Then James told me Zelle was not working and would send me a check. No check ever arrived. Yesterday James said he would Zelle me the money and I would have it today March 27th but no money. I texted him and no reply.
I hate doing a bad review but I feel other customers should be aware that he is not honest.
If you use his company do not pay in advance because he will not refund your money. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

owner, agreed to the terms of the event (providing garnishes, ice, napkins, and cups) and accepted payment for such, then upon receipt of payment said the only thing they would provide was the bartenders, saying he “misread our email”.
One of the bartenders asked a wedding guest to show her how to open a bottle of wine.
The two other bartenders were serving Gin and Tonics with gin, a splash of tonic, and three olives for garnish. THEY ASKED WHAT THE LEMONS AND LIMES WERE FOR!!!!!!!!!!

-JP stopped responding a week prior to the wedding, leading us to hire an emergency replacement bartender
-We paid an additional $700 for the replacement bartender and additional items he would not bring though were paid for
-The 3 bartenders told multiple guests that they had never bar tended before
-Bartenders asked guests to show them how to open a bottle of wine (multiple times)
-It took 30 minutes for guests to receive their first drink, despite having 3 bartenders and 2 bars for 115 guests
-Guests were pouring out drinks because they were too strong and undrinkable
-No regard for sanitation: the bartenders used a filthy outdoor beverage container for their drink ice despite being told precisely which coolers had been disinfected.
-They pulled a full trash bag from a giant rubber trash can that had been used for public trash all day and filled it with ice and beers, despite clear instructions to use a sanitized wheelbarrow
-Bartenders continued to ask guests how to make drinks all night, like a screwdriver, which was a signature drink.
Not surprisingly, JP Mixology has ghosted us since the event. Their actions were indefensible.

ow, but one hour into our ceremony did my wedding party rally to go to the liquor store and buy all the drinks and alcohol. Embarrassing and just unacceptable. I had to pay these guys in full, and have yet to receive my refund and seem to dodge calls conveniently! Clear warning to all future couples, stay away.

There were quite a few to choose from … as Silly as it seems i called JPMIXOLOGY because my best friends name is the same initials Josephine Pinto😀… and I spoke with the owner James and because i really didnt know what liquor everyone drank, or how much i would need , james was patient with me and he asked me questions and 10 mins into our phone call he told me what he can do and had drink suggestions and then told me he can handle all of the details ,something told me to trust this man because he was so patient with me and so matter of fact that he made my doubtfulness fade away! He did in fact take care of everything!! He brought all the liquor with him , came early to set up and he was not just a bartender that night … he became part of my family .. not only was he fast at accommodating every person that went to him for their cocktails . But he was so friendly, and sweet my mother adored him!!! She booked him for her retirement party in June!!!
