tested positive for Covid and couldn't ethically come and shoot my wedding. So my wedding planner was running around like crazy 2 days before my wedding trying to find a replacement and that's when she asked Jessica if she was free and thankfully she was! I looked through her past galleries and noted that I was more a fan of dark/moody/contrast wedding pictures to which she replied, no problem! She showed up on the day of my wedding and was nothing but professional and kind. I had a list typed out of the pictures that I wanted taken and she had already committed it to memory only being hired 48 hours earlier. I was quite impressed by this. She showed me a few sneak peeks on her camera the day of and WOW, I felt bad saying it, but I was almost glad my first photographer got sick with Covid, because I don't think I would have liked my pictures as much. Jessica even made it a point to say out loud to herself "dark and moody." She was really trying to honor my vision for the wedding. And boy did she pull through! I honestly don't think I have ever seen such beautiful wedding pictures. From our sunset pictures, to our dramatic veil pictures to our night pictures, she was outstanding! I will certainly be using her for the future for any of my picture needs. Do yourself a favor and hire her! You will not regret it! Thank you so much!!!

We were so impressed with the engagement photos she took but let me just tell you, the wedding photos blew us away! We can't stop looking at them! If you're looking for someone to capture real expressions, be involved, and not be afraid to take a photo opportunity, Jessica is your girl! My husband and I are not photo people, but when it came to working with Jessica, we loved every minute of it. We truly can't wait to work with her again for any of our future photo needs!

right off the bat that we made a good choice when we received the day of timeline/questionnaire to fill out prior to the big day. This allowed us to get all of the photos we needed very efficiently in order to spend the most possible time with our guests. Everything ran smoothly and we have 0 complaints! Outside of the photos themselves being absolutely perfect, Jessica was very attentive and responsive after the wedding as well. Everything was delivered in a very timeline manner and the photo box and album we got exceeded our expectations. We also had our wedding photos printed and on our walls just 1.5 months after the wedding!

did. She is amazing and her aesthetic fit mine perfectly. She knew exactly what I wanted for my pictures for my engagement and wedding and executed everything perfectly. She also had shot pictures at my venue which was also a big plus for me. I loved that I could customize my wedding package as well as add the album (you also have to have the memory box she creates, it is really special). She created my wedding album for me as well and I fell in love with it. It is the perfect memoir of the best day of my life. She is so easy to talk to and immediately made my husband and I comfortable in front of the camera. She made my wedding day the most special. I have already recommended her to my friends and I will most likely use her for family portraits, maternity/newborn pictures in the future. If you are looking for a rustic wedding photographer that really is knowledgeable as well as the nicest person, look for Jessica. I can’t wait to use her for my pictures for many years to come.

eam, including Melanie and Brian, were excellent photographers. Their photo's turned out gorgeous. They also were incredibly personable on the wedding day, helped tremendously in situations that required last minute changes, and generally put us at ease. They made the first look go much smoother than it would have gone given the rain storm that was happening that day and they also did an excellent job of being positioned perfectly during the the ceremony and reception. We are extremely happy with the job the entire team performed.

ttend pre-Covid lockdown. I was so sure I had found our photographer that day that she was the first vendor booking I made. Because we chose not to have an engagement photo session, my husband and I did not actually work with Jessica until our wedding day. Normally that might be awkward for two people who never posed for formal photos before, but it didn't matter because Jessica was great at putting my normally shy husband at ease and had us posing for the most beautiful romantic couple photos in no time. She has a real talent for choosing the perfect shot. Her photos of the rustic venue, the outdoor ceremony, and the cocktail hour and reception were all beautiful. We have great candid pictures of all our guests and a nice variety of photos of all the little details of our ceremony and reception table settings, decorations and flowers. Jessica captured everything and was a true pleasure to work with. We just received our beautiful finished wedding album this week and now have a great selection of photos to remember our special day.

f she was available and, unfortunately, she wasn't. She suggested that perhaps her associate, Elana, could be my photographer instead since she worked under Jessica and had the same eye. Jessica sent me some of her galleries and I was sold. There was still the matter of pricing, however, but Jessica was really wonderful and worked with me to get everything I could possibly get with a smaller budget. She was so sweet and we received a "welcome to the J. Parson's Photography Family" gift and a lovely note. Leading up to the wedding, Jessica and I were in contact about where I would be taking pictures, who we wanted in the family formals, must have pictures for the reception, etc. She even sent a day of time line that was incredibly specific. Much like Jessica, when I met Elana, she was warm and friendly. She did an amazing job and I could not be happier with the results. So many people said what a wonderful photographer she was after they saw my photos. Since the wedding, Jessica stayed on top of me, without being pushy, to make sure that I picked out my favorite photos for my album in a timely fashion. She was super responsive to any questions I had and I could not be happier with the final result. The album was beautifully put together and the final presentation was even better. I raved so much about my experience that one of my good friends hired Jessica for her wedding this spring. I promise you, you will NOT be disappointed with Jessica or her team!!

She completely understood our wants and needs and captured all the beautiful moments of the day while letting us focus on celebrating! She was very efficient, which we appreciated. Honestly when getting ready with my bridesmaids she just felt like part of the group. And my husband and his groomsmen thought her colleague Tracey was fantastic and gave her a shoutout during their wedding speech! I would recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a friendly, kind, talented and professional wedding photographer!

ed. Two days after the wedding Jessica posted a ‘sneak peak’ on facebook, and only three weeks later we had the ENTIRE gallery – all 800+ photos! Your photographer is with you during your entire wedding day – make sure that is someone that is not only talented, but someone that makes you comfortable – that’s Jessica. I do not like to be photographed, and I was nervous and anxious for a bit before the wedding. But as soon as she walked into the hotel suite for the getting ready photos – the anxiety disappeared. She is incredibly friendly, fun, and so talented. She knew exactly where to place everyone for portraits so that everyone was visible and in flattering positions. When a bridesmaid asked if they can throw autumn leaves on the bride and groom – Jessica made that happen, and those turned out to be my favorite pictures. Jessica’s second photographer was also incredible – while I did not have the pleasure of speaking with her, my husband and groom’s side said she was so nice, and those pictures are fantastic as well. While we will never plan a wedding again – you can be sure that our first phone call for newborn photos is JParsons Photography!

Her experience and professionalism shines through, allowing you to relax and have the best day of your lives! Our wedding was a bit of a logistical nightmare since it was on an island 40 minutes off the coast of our home state, requiring her to travel to the island on our schedule and accommodate the nuances of being there out of any normal element. To top it off, we had to have the ceremony on the island the day prior to our planned wedding date due to Hurricane Dorian, and had a limited time between when the boat dropped us off and we had to leave the island. She was amazingly accommodating and shined even under these circumstances. We got our photos within a couple weeks, and couldn’t be happier with the results! The photos came out amazing even with the windy and challenging conditions! She is seriously talented and we genuinely love what she does! If you’re thinking about booking her for your wedding , DO IT!!! You won’t be disappointed ! She has captured beautiful and fun memories we will cherish forever!
