JPL Event Magic

From the beginning, JP worked hard to be in tune with what we wanted! He met with us several times and really listened to the specifics about what we wanted for our reception-not just the music but the overall vibe and flow! He had some awesome suggestions for how things could work the day of the wedding and they all turned out great. He worked hard to customize our wedding and make it just the way we wanted it. The music was amazing and everyone danced all night. He offers many different lighting packages and the dance floor lighting at our wedding turned out great . He’s not only a DJ but an MC and having him introduce us and tell our love story was a very unique feature of our wedding. He was enthusiastic, attentive, and really worked hard to make us happy. We weren’t even sure we wanted a DJ initially but after our first conversation with JP we knew that he could add something extra to the reception that we couldn’t do by just playing an iPod. JP was well worth the affordable price and we would recommend him to anyone.

JP was phenomenal. We would not have been able to pull it off without him. My husband and I rented a spot and put everything together ourselves. JP went above and beyond, taking trips to the lodge, sending us pictures of different ways to set up (my husband and I are not from the area) because he knew I was stressed out about how we were going to set up and still have a dance floor. Along with him and my day of girl, they pulled it off magnificently. JP asked us questions, and was there every step of the way. He came to our rehearsal, helped with coordinating the wedding party and parents. I’m telling you he went far above what we expected. He kept us on schedule and got us thinking about things we weren’t even considering. The DJ and MC part was perfect, our wedding was in a small lodge, so I was concerned people wouldn’t feel comfortable dancing, but people were on the dance floor the entire night! Music selection was perfect, everything we spoke about before hand was played and the selection was exactly what we wanted. We also had a friend of ours sing our first dance and during our cocktail hour, JP touched base with him (along with everyone else) figured out what he needed, and provided it for our singer. You can see the passion behind what he does, and that is so important. We cannot thank JP enough for everything and all that he did. 100% recommend.

From the moment we met with JP, we knew we were going to use him as our Dj. JP holds several planning sessions prior to your big day to tailor his work to your needs/wants/expectations. He is very organized, thorough, and detailed. We are lucky we had him as he thought of MANY things we never would have . His prices are reasonable and the lighting /dj services he provided at our wedding exceeded our expectations by far. Jp is not your average dj, he goes above and beyond to ensure your day runs as perfectly as you imagined. Even our guests loved him and mentioned how he was amazing and unlike any other dj they have seen. I'd highly recommend him for your big day!

JP made our special night one we will never forget! We knew he was the right DJ for us from the beginning. He is very professional, thoughtful and accommodating to all our needs. Everyone had a fantastic time and the dance floor was packed all night long. I higly recommend JP for any DJ need

We found JPL through The Knot after desperate searching and contacting lots of DJs. JP was one of the only vendors we contacted who emailed back and was excellent at answering any questions or requests. We were skeptical at first because there were no reviews about him at the time so we weren't sure of his experience, but his costumer service won us over (we later learned he used to work for another DJ company for several years and left them to make his own company, which explains his years of experience and expertise). Planning the reception with him was fun and very thorough. Every detail was clearly planned and executed as planned. If you decide to have him as your DJ, you get a wedding website about your reception where you can plan a timeline, songs, and other specific details you might want (lighting etc). Throughout the months leading to our reception, JP remained completely available to anything we thought of and kept the planning fun and unique to us. Most importantly, the day of the reception! As promised, JP played the songs requested and played the dedication songs (mother/son, first dance, etc) exactly as we talked about during the planning sessions/meetings. Throughout the reception, JP checked in with both of us to make sure there wasn't anything that came up or just in general making sure we were doing ok. As the night went on, the dance floor was always full of people dance (even those of all ages!); one of my cranky and picky relatives made a point to come up to me and said "I love this song!" Overall, the night went by very smooth and fun thanks to our MC/DJ. Bottom line: We would recommend JP to friends. We found his price point (varies depending on what you want) to be around average for 2016. He was professional and made our reception unique to us; our guests were happy and we had an amazing wedding thanks to JP!

Overall JPL Event Magic was phenomenal. JP was very professional and held multiple planning sessions with us to make sure everything was in order for the big day. He did our ceremony and reception music as well as lighting. Highly recommend!
