We chose to hire DJ James O’Grady after my first conversation on the phone with him. He set aside the time to go through everything with me in great detail, never making me feel rushed or like I was just another client. He made me feel like our wedding was important to him and that he wanted to make sure it was a great night. DJ James was professional but also easy-going, which was important to me as I was really more of a city hall type of bride. I wanted the wedding planning to be as easy as possible, so picking vendors who I could trust to handle everything was essential. I knew DJ James was the perfect fit. While many vendors are great with communicating only in the beginning, that was not the case with James. He was an excellent communicator from beginning to end, even when I had to call him unexpectedly the morning of the wedding. There were times when I reached out to him via text and I had a response within minutes – he really makes it a priority to remain available to his clients. He was incredible to work with in the planning process, but he was also a fantastic DJ on the actual wedding day. He always knew the right music to play – far better choices than I would have made – and our guests danced all night long. The dance floor was always the life of the party. My mother-in-law made a special request for her dance with the groom and it was not a song that you could find on Spotify or any other music streaming source. She found it on YouTube and I was not sure if James would be able to play it, but he made it happen without any problem. There ceremony and dinner music choices were just right, and he even encouraged our guests to sign our guestbook activity when he saw a lot of people had forgotten. I also had a little surprise joke for my mother-in-law that James managed to pull off perfectly. I cannot recommend DJ James O’Grady enough. Throughout the entire wedding process he was fun, professional, and trustworthy. I can assure you that if you are lucky enough to book him for your event, you will not regret it!

James did an amazing job as the DJ at our wedding. Due to COVID-19 our plans were constantly changing. He kept in contact with us and was very easy to get a hold of. He was very insightful in our planning process and adaptive, when needed, with the changing plans. The music selections at our reception were exactly what we wanted. My husband and I were unsure what the night would be like with a smaller guest count than anticipated and with certain restrictions in place, but James was so easy going. He made everyone feel comfortable and most importantly people were having fun [safely] dancing!! We highly recommend James for your wedding!

James was the DJ at my husband and my wedding a few weeks ago. His song selection was excellent, and he captured our style perfectly. James was flexible and “go with the flow.” It was very helpful to have someone so calm and efficient and not have to worry about music on our wedding day where everything else is very stressful. I would totally recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a great entertainment option!!

James was excellent to work with for our wedding. He met with us ahead of the wedding and on rehearsal day was instrumental in making sure we were all set for the big day. On wedding day he was on top of everything and kept the party going. He chose great music for every aspect of the wedding from dinner to dancing. I would highly recommend JPO Productions! We had him for a wedding but based on my experience he will listen to the customer and will do everything needed to make the event a success. I thought his prices were very reasonable as well.

James was wonderful to work with! He was on top of everything and removed all the stress from the entertainment aspect. His song choices were excellent and he made sure to run the show smoothly. He also helped clean up after which was above and beyond my expectations. Thanks for a great wedding JPO!!

James was fantastic! Helped me figure out how to set up in our venue to make everything flow for guests, the caterers, wedding party and himself. Music got people up to dance and we all had a great time!! Highly recommend him!!!

I was so so pleased to work with James, he was very professional and worked with me every step of the way. I contacted him in short notice and he did everything possible to make sure me, the bride in distress had nothing to worry about music/dj wise. I contacted him after 11pm the night before the wedding to change songs and he was willing to do it to make me happy. He really knows the music to get people up and dancing . I'm so glad I turned to him for my dj needs so many people at my wedding told me he was such a great dj. Thanks James!
