Owner JP, his wife, and the whole team, will work with you to record all your precious memories on camera.
JP has had a passion for photography since a young age. He went to the Univerity of Central Missouri to study photography and graphic design, and has since won several awards for his work. During his career, he has honed his skills in order to deliver high-quality, masterfully lighted images to his clients. He also prides himself on his laid-back yet energetic approach, which will help you feel completely comfortable in front of the lens.
When it comes to the photography services available to you on your wedding day, JPShots Photography can offer plenty to choose from. The team only covers one wedding a day, with no cutoffs or restrictions. They will be there to capture it all! When all is said and done, the final images will be delivered to you as digital files for easy sharing, or in albums as prints, should you wish.

ogether is ELECTRIFYING! From the start with our engagement pictures, we were the shy couple that was not used to the poses and getting all close. JP and Alicia had us laughing, and completely comfortable by the end of it that we got the most amazing shots! It was like hanging out with friends we haven't seen in a while, and they were taking pictures of us along the way. They knew all the spots, and exactly what we wanted to capture the best shots in the not so best areas of downtown KC but making the picture BEAUTIFUL!
The day of our wedding, I was nervous about the rain and everything else a bride is worried about... but JP and Alicia did nothing but compliment the venue, our family and just how fun the wedding party was before the wedding even started. While I was getting ready they were taking pictures of all the little details, and making sure we were ON TIME to get all the picture's we wanted before it was time for the big moment. JP's energy was OUTSTANDING, he makes the perfect jokes and relates to everyone just right to make everyone involved comfortable.
We did a selfie game, which was by far the highlight of the night, We RAN around the venue to "Cotton-Eyed Joe" and JP was right there with us sprinting from table to table to beat the song and get a picture with every guest as something we wanted. Everyone commented the entire night about how FUN and ENERGETIC out photographers were and how they really made the night. He even took selfies on his camera with some of our best friends, while they all danced on the dance floor.
This was my first big event in my life, and I am nothing but amazed at the talent, and professionalism from JP and Alicia and I can't thank them enough for helping create the most perfect day for my family and I to remember forever. I am bursting with anxiousness to get the amazing pictures back. They have sent sneak peaks, and every. single. one. has blown me away.

un personality and was very easy to get along with and his portfolio was very impressive. I was especially drawn to his attention to lighting and details. As a very pale person my biggest fear was looking washed out and pale in all of my wedding photos even with a spray tan. He explained to me the different cameras/lenses he uses and lighting techniques and assured me that would not happen. It was also important to have a 2nd photographer and fortunately not only is JP a talented photographer, his wife is an equally amazing talented photographer. I was so grateful to have them both there capturing every moment. They were very communicative in the weeks/days leading up and were on time the day of the wedding. The whole bridal party had a little too much fun the nigh before and the men had a harder time recovering the next day. JP was very adaptive and understanding and we were still on time most of the day. I just received the pictures back from our wedding and I was blown away. Every picture was absolutely stunning and they captured all the little details that I'd even forgotten in the blur of the day. I couldn't be happier. As part of their wedding package you also get to select photos for a wedding album that they make for you. So not only do you get a free engagement session, 2 photographers, and amazing quality pictures; you also get a wedding album made for you at a price that was unbeatable in my opinion. They also were great about working to get poses I had found online while still coming up with new ideas I hadn’t thought of. My guests loved seeing them out on the dance floor getting those live shots. Most importantly, the photos turned out great, and we received them within a couple of weeks of the wedding. JP on accident while searching for a photographer for our wedding. Through each step of the wedding process, he offered organization, tips, and support to make his role of our day run so incredibly smooth. Anything I asked to be done he did without hesitation. Not only did he spend countless hours editing our photos, but at the end, he ventured to our home to go through EACH edited photo to get our approval and choose the ones we wanted for our album. During the time between the wedding and when we received our pictures, he updated us, and put out sneak peeks to keep us occupied. He got our pictures to us quickly, especially any edits we asked for after the fact. I am so impressed by his professionalism and thrilled with his work and look forward to working with him again in the future!
