Jimmy and his team at JR Floral were so great to work with for our wedding at Liberty House. We had an initial consultation way in the beginning of our planning process, but then as the year went on, I added and removed things and they were always very prompt in updating my quote. They also worked on the wedding day to deliver flowers to 3 different locations (church, hotel, venue), and it went without a hitch. Jimmy also worked with me on pricing for his beautiful ceiling decorations at the LH, which I was so grateful for, and it looked absolutely stunning. He is also very reasonably priced considering the cost of flowers and location in NJ, and I couldn’t have been happier with all of our floral arrangements that day.

Jimmy and team are true professionals and by far my favorite vendor of all the ones I hired! From the first meeting, Jimmy's number one priority is to fulfill your vision and stay within your budget - he did just that for us and did it beautifully!! We had hired him to do some florals on the lighting fixtures at our venue, and when the venue unexpectedly changed the fixtures two weeks prior to our wedding, he was incredibly communicative, sending me photos of new options and ways to make it work. In the end, both our personals and the venue were truly stunning and we got so many compliments from our guests. My bouquet was definitely my favorite, I wish I could keep it forever. Some of the lights stopped working during the reception, and the boutonnieres stained the suit lapels. I wouldn't leave a negative review usually, but they didn't even respond to our email after the wedding. If you're going with them, use clear tape for the boutonniere, or pick dark suits In addition, when we were finally negotiating the contract the month before, they "made a mistake" that would've cost a lot if we didn't catch it. JR Floral was truly incredible. On the day of the wedding, the bouquets were delivered at 7:30am, and the rest of the team worked all day to make everything look perfect. I was blown away by the Chuppah- it was a vision I had that came to life exactly as I hoped. The colors were stunning for the bouquets, center pieces, everything! In addition, we LOVED the Edison Lighting we had selected. Definitely recommend!

JR Floral did an absolutely phenomenal job with the flowers for my wedding day! I got married at Liberty House and the ceremony was supposed to be outside but it was raining in the morning and Jimmy called me to ask what I wanted to do so I made the call to have it inside and they built the flower arch there. It cleared up as the day went on and we decided to move the ceremony back outside so I started having second thoughts about the arch. It was very big/heavy so not an easy thing to just decide to move. I went back and forth on what to do and then Jimmy was at LH when we arrived to check in with me and said if we really wanted to move it outside he'd make it happen! I was so grateful that he cared enough to do that. I ultimately decided to leave it inside, and have no regrets because it was so beautiful and we got to enjoy it all night vs. just for the ceremony. I got so many compliments from friends and family about the flowers. Everyone wanted to take home a centerpiece, and most importantly my bouquet was gorgeous! We did two consultations leading up the big day since we changed our color scheme after the original meeting. Jimmy was very knowledgeable about what flowers to use for that season and what would look best with our colors. I didn’t really have a vison of what I wanted so it was extremely helpful that he guided us through it and gave recommendations. He was upfront with us about prices and gave us alternatives when there was a flower we liked that had a similar alternative that was more cost effective. I really enjoyed working with him and was so impressed by their work. They went above and beyond and really exceeded my expectations. Jimmy and his wonderful team executed my vision flawlessly and accommodated me any chance they got! I wanted something elegant and simple--baby's breath. Within minutes Jimmy arranged something on the table an example and I couldn't believe how easy it was! When I was touring my venue, JR was setting up for a wedding that night. Everything they were doing looked amazing so I got a business card from someone setting up. We went to their warehouse in West New York for a consultation and Jimmy walked through every detail with us. He never tried to upsell us or get us to add on things that we really didn't need. His team made sample arrangements for us to see while we were there and took pictures of everything so they could recreate it that day. Communication was always seamless. Jimmy and his team respond to emails quickly and they were very flexible with changing some of the flowers we originally picked and adding things on after we signed our contract. The flowers they provided for us were absolutely beautiful and I would definitely recommend them. Everything was exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price!

We do not know how to thank JR Floral Designs for the AMAZING job they did with the flowers for our wedding at Liberty House in Jersey City. Although the weather was not cooperating, Jimmy kept calm and guided us from a planned outside garden ceremony to a magical inside ceremony with ease! It was great working with Jimmy! When I changed my mind about what I wanted a few months before the wedding he was super accommodating and we were able to come in and see a new set of samples. Everything was exactly what we wanted based on a just pictures. He will not steer you wrong or try to upsell you on anything, and I was genuinely happy to see him the morning of my wedding when he dropped of the personal flowers!

I found JR Floral through my venue, Liberty House. I had a 2 hour meeting with them in which they came up with sample floral arrangements based on my ideas, and they worked with me to come up with options that were still beautiful but in my budget. They also gave me ideas on how to repurpose the bouquets etc to maximize my purchases and I really appreciated that. I always felt like they were working with my needs. And the end result was beautiful! I especially loved my bridal bouquet and the arch. They are a genuine family-owned business and I highly recommend them.

Jimmy and his team are total pros! The floral designs were the easiest part of the planning process. With only a few pictures, Jimmy knew exactly what I had in mine. Our Huppa, in particular, was absolutely stunning. We kept it up all night and it was the perfect focal point of the room. My experience with Jimmy and his team was one of the most pleasant and exciting parts of wedding planning. I sent them multiple ideas that I had seen on Pinterest and they made my vision come to life! Jimmy allowed me to not only change my centerpieces, but also come back to his studio to see my new design. I was married at the Liberty House in Jersey City on 12/18/21, and my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, the guys boutonnieres, precious flower girl crowns (they were the sweetest - made of baby's breath with satin bows), stunning cedar chandelier that was such a focal point of the reception and of course the perfect sparkling Edison lights were everything I ever dreamed they would be since we first met two years ago. Jimmy and his team are the easiest to work with - they are so responsive, and answered every email and phone call I directed to them (and there were MANY after pushing our wedding a full year due to COVID.) You will not be disappointed - they are incredible.

Hiring JR Floral Designs was one of the best decisions we made! Jimmy is unbelievably talented at what he does and he is also just the best! He was so honest and transparent from the start (telling us what we didn't need/how to save some money). There were no hidden fees or surprises along the way--just beautiful flower arrangements! When we had to change our wedding due to COVID, Jimmy made sure it was not a problem and had us come back in to re-create a fall theme (since our original wedding was a winter wedding). On the day of the wedding, Jimmy showed up EARLY to drop off the personals himself before going to the venue to get the room ready. There was absolutely nothing missing in the decor--from the aisle to the cocktail hour to our table arrangements, it was just gorgeous! They were very flexible before the wedding with my last minute changes and even sent me new bouquet pictures to evaluate and confirm since I couldn’t go back in in person. They are extremely responsive over email as well. For the day of, they were willing to be flexible given a looming rain schedule and created a gorgeous chuppah that withstood many rains and made it through to when my ceremony finally happened. All of mt bouquet, boutonnières, etc. turned out so beautifully and they were willing to last minute change things around with mother corsages too. Definitely recommend!

I have to echo all the reviews I've seen below and say how wonderful Jimmy and his team were to work with. My wedding was initially supposed to be in July 2020. I came to Jimmy with a very vague vision of what I wanted and he pulled together something quickly that was beautiful and was very accommodating with my budget and helped to point out what could easily be included or excluded. Because of COVID, my wedding ended up being pushed to October. I knew I wanted to incorporate some darker flowers into my mostly pink theme to make it look more "fall" and Jimmy did an absolutely beautiful job incorporating darker burgundys into all of the decorations. Not only that, but on the day of the wedding, it was raining but since I insisted on having the wedding outside, Jimmy and his team stuck around longer than they probably would have otherwise to help set up. I especially have to give a shout out to the head table decorations which were SO beautiful. I can't say enough great things about the team, and I will definitely be using them for all future events! He had great ways for us to save money, and having worked with a different florist for our first scheduled wedding, he really worked within our budget, was super flexible, willing to show samples, and just detail oriented. Just when I thought we perfected everything, my husband wanted to change everything to a Star Wars theme! I was so stressed and thought that this theme would not be elegant at all but Jimmy made it all possible! Any worry I had, their team communicated relatively quickly especially with the pandemic throwing so many obstacles our way! I could not have imagined the wedding any other way with our theme! The arrangements and details were stunning and I will forever appreciate the time they took to make our day gorgeous!

Jimmy was amazing to work with and told us straight up what we needed and didn't need. He was so accommodating to our visions for the wedding and everything came out perfectly. He was able to take our color scheme and idea photos and make our flower ideas come to life. When we met with him and designed the bouquets and centerpieces prior to the wedding, I would have never imagined how beautiful they would look all together on the day of our wedding. I still have parts of my bouquet because I never want to give it up! JR Floral was also able to do amazing ceiling decor for our venue that was ready before we even arrived for the day. It looked amazing and definitely made the room. Fun & easy to work with, great experience!!!

We could not be happier with our experience with JR Floral Designs. From the very beginning Jimmy and his staff were so accommodating. Jimmy met with us and let us put together our arrangements and center pieces so we could see how they would look in real life. He was so patient and it was so clear that he really wanted us to feel great with our selections and we worked at them together until we were 100% satisfied. He told us we didn’t need to worry because he worries about every detail for us and he truly delivered on that. Everything was perfect on the day and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. At our first meeting, Jimmy and his team helped me set a budget and worked to stay within that amount. They listened to every suggestion I had and made tweaks to make sure I was within budget. They strive to only use flowers that are within season to keep costs down and will be honest with you about what is expensive and what is doable. Everything turned out AMAZING! They also provided us with fairy lightening and a drape for our ceremony/reception dance floor area for a VERY reasonable price. Book Jimmy right now! Jimmy is a no nonsense guy! You tell him what you want and he does it! My bouquet was so beautiful. The centerpieces were simple and elegant, just how I wanted them. But let's be honest, the true showstopper were the ceiling drapes at the Liberty House. OMG... If you're going to have your wedding there, you need Jimmy in your life because you need those drapes at your wedding.

We were referred to this florist by our venue, Liberty House as they work together often. Jimmy is outstanding and willing to work with you on whatever you want. He will be honest with you about cost and will tell you what is waste of money and what isn't. Definitely something to appreciate in the wedding industry. We met with him for a consultation and he made us sample centerpieces and a sample for my bouquet. He will ask for pictures of what you like and make almost identical arrangements based on your price range. His prices were reasonable and was willing to make changes up to two weeks before our wedding. The day of our wedding, our florals came out beautiful. They made three separate deliveries to our hotel, church, and the reception venue which was very kind of them. Overall, they did a great job with communication and execution and I would highly recommend them! Thank you Jimmy!

JR Florist came highly recommended to us, and we are so extremely thankful for that. From the start of the initial conversations, Jimmy was so incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. He made everything so easy, especially for two people who didn’t know much about flowers. At the initial meeting, my husband and I, with Jimmy’s help, were able to pick from flowers that he had in shop that matched our color scheme and overall wedding vibe. With those, they then made sample bouquets and centerpieces so we knew exactly what we were going to have the day of. It put us at ease to know we would be taken care of. He was extremely honest during the entire process. And on the day of, he and his team were timely, reliable and everything was set up so beautifully and exceeded our expectations. They are very detail oriented. They hung gorgeous drapery from the ceiling that really tied the room together, and everyone couldn’t stop talking about. JR Florist really made our wedding day dreams a reality. We can’t recommend them enough.

Jimmy and his team are AMAZING. We went to his office in NJ to meet him and gave him a deposit right then and there. Jimmy even created samples for us that very day for my bouquet and our centerpieces. Communication was easy and his team was very responsive. We entrusted Jimmy to make our Nov 8th wedding beautiful and he did not disappoint; he and his team brought our vision to life. We can't recommend him enough!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about Jimmy and his team. Our venue recommended them and we couldn't be more impressed with the gorgeous flowers they provided. When we first met, Jimmy actually made up samples of the centerpieces and bouquets right on the spot. They were so beautiful and I couldn't believe that they were also budget friendly. Not only do you get a lot for your money but you get the highest quality of everything! All of the pieces were so full and fresh, they really made everything come together. Jimmy and his team were a pleasure to work with, super responsive and professional. I wish I threw more events so I could use their services again!

Jimmy was amazing to work with from the beginning. When we first went there I had an idea of what I wanted my centerpieces to look like, he put it together and I realized that was not what I wanted, he then asked if he could put something together that he thinks that I may like and I am so glad he did because it was absolutely beautiful! I loved the idea that he made the centerpieces in front of us to give us an idea of what they would look like. They also made my bridal bouquet and when I saw it I had tears in my eyes because it was exactly what I wanted. All of the flowers from centerpieces, bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, bridesmaid bouquets and alter baskets everything was absolutely beautiful! We still have people talking about our centerpieces! I decided last minute that I wanted tulle for the church pews and I contacted Jimmy and he said it would not be a problem! Jimmy was great to work with and always gave his advice and was honest about everything! We will definitely be using JR Floral in the future!
