Jazz Quartet was incredible and it was such an added bonus to have him be able to DJ for the last hours of the party too- where all could boogy on down!

plan for our wedding-- DJ/MC for ceremony and reeption, band for cocktails and dinner. JSH has many options, so it is easy to work out a combination that fits your needs. Jon and his musicians were fantastic-- the music set the tone for a relaxed cocktail hour and provided a wonderful background during dinner. The music for the ceremony was cut together perfectly, and the reception was a blast. We could not have asked for anything more!

From the acoustic guitarist during the ceremony and cocktail hour to the band jams during the reception, it was all just...perfect. No other word to describe it. I was able to relax and enjoy the music, without the need to micromanage anything. Jon and his team got the vibe just right. Guests didn't leave the dance floor all night and many guests came up to me to compliment the band and ask for their contact. Do not hesitate to book a band with JhS music, they're worth more than they charge and are such a pleasure to work with.

A particular song of hers they were able to play that was not on the list, Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass, "A Taste of Honey". This was the opening song. They also accommodated our desire for a tribute song for her brother who passed away 30 years ago. All along the way, over a period of 6 months, Jon Harris, the band manager, was professional, timely, upbeat, and accommodating. Our guests said it was the best band they have ever heard. Choosing the band Stir Father was the best decision I made. Their performance was fabulous. We also compiled our own music selection for the cocktail/dinner hour and band break DJ music (cocktail/dinner hour was chosen along the theme of bossa, samba, Sergio Mendez type beat and band break music was laid back 70's choices) which Jon was able to accommodate, setting the tone for the different periods of our party. I highly recommend choosing JSH Music Productions and Stir Father for your next event.

During the planning process, Jon was extremely helpful in accommodating my special requests. My brother mixed a few tracks and Jon was terrific in working them in. We also had some traditional music of my husband's family and it all made it in to the night just was we planned. All of our dances went perfectly and we have Jon to thank for it!

ted at my wedding was some DJ thinking he was in a night club and asking my wedding guest to "Make some noise" when they're trying to enjoy their dinner. Thankfully, JSH Music was a godsend! They provided acoustic guitar and singing during cocktail hour, a jazz quartet during dinner and an exceptional DJ during dancing. The guitar/vocals during cocktail hour were done by our DJ Erich Snider. He sang some amazing mellow classics that really set the mood on that bright and sunny day. The atmosphere was perfect! The jazz quartet was simply phenomenal. My family are big jazz fans and they couldn't get enough of the bands breath of knowledge. During dancing, Erich was an absolute expert at reading the room. He took our desired songs and he melded them perfectly together to manage the energy on the dance floor. He kept everyone going and having a great time all throughout the dance period. Everyone was on their feet! I cannot say enough about how positive my experience with JSH music was. They are absolute experts in creating the perfect environment for celebration. Highly highly highly recommended!

then combined DJ services and live band for the party. They were fabulous-sounded like the real musicians on almost every song. Our guests were dancing the entire wedding! We had submitted a list of song requests in advance and they stuck to that list. They missed a few only because we ran out of time! The next day our guests were raving to us how our bad was amazing. Their prices was completely fair, they brought state of the art sound equipment and lighting, and we really didn't have to worry about a thing. Jon was always prompt with responses, and was a dream to work with. I cannot recommend highly enough-if you are looking to spend a little extra on a band versus DJ, you can't go wrong with JSH!
