Dave and his company JTD are the best in the business! They are flexible, kind, supportive, listen to your wants, and make all the magic happen! Dave can customize your music to any style, genre, and period of music depending on your crowd. And he can mix/transition songs like the pro his is, so there isn’t a moment of hesitation on the dance floor! Dave and his team can also play from any Spotify playlist that you create too, and play it in an order that makes the most sense for your party, so you can get in every song of your dreams and have it done in a way that is purely perfect! He also can fill in any extra time with his choice of songs that fit your style perfectly! 20/10 would recommend for EVERY wedding!

Shawn was a great DJ for our wedding! He was very quick to respond during the week leading up to our wedding for our last minute questions, and he helped put us at ease. We had a lot of specific music requirements for our ceremony and cocktail hour that weren't in their list of songs, but Shawn was able to get them all prior to the day. We only had a few specific requests for the reception and just let Shawn read the room and play what made sense, and I'm so glad we left it to him! Most of my husband's family is Cuban and Puerto Rican and Shawn noticed that a Spanish song got a lot of people on the dance floor, so he worked in a good amount of Spanish music to keep the party going. I got a lot of compliments about the music and my friends and family (and us!) had a great time dancing all night. I would highly recommend Shawn as your DJ, and JTD Productions overall.

JTD was recommended to me by our venue and we are thrilled. Submitting our music selections and no-gos was really easy, and Dave even found the specific version of one of the songs we requested. Dave did a great job with keeping the party going - we heard all of our favorite songs and saw everybody up and dancing throughout the night! He even helped me play a small prank on my husband during our cake cutting :) We got SO MANY compliments on our music after the wedding - thanks Dave and JTD!

Dave was the perfect DJ for our fall wedding in the Catskills, that had a "festival/music" vibe during the reception. We named each table one of our favorite bands, and he rose to the occasion by weaving those artists in throughout the night. He kept the energy going - all our guests were out on the dance floor! Dave also kindly put together a custom first dance song for us, that seamlessly got the party going. He was very responsive, fun, and easy to work with. Would highly recommend, and would work with him again!

We had the pleasure of having DJ Doug Yoel at our wedding. From the very beginning, Doug was very communicative and worked with us to put together the perfect playlist. At our wedding, Doug had all of our guests on the dance floor for the entire night. Dave was also amazing to work and took us on as a client later than expected. The song portal is easy to use and helped us craft a playlist that suited all of our guests. JTD Productions helped to make our wedding day special and we can’t thank them enough!

Finding a DJ was one of the harder tasks my husband and I faced when planning our wedding. It was surprisingly challenging to find someone you click with, especially for people like us who love music and couldn't wait to dance all night! We liked the look of JTD Productions from their website, and Dave Leonard, the owner, offered us DJs from a few different price tiers. We spoke to DJs from the middle tier and the lowest tier and we immediately vibed with MK, who happened to be the most affordable (although she may not be for long!). She totally "got" our tastes — she happens to be a Swiftie like me but she obviously caters to a wide range of preferences — and she took our ideas and requests and made a playlist that was way better than we could've dreamed up. Like, it was our taste in music but better and cooler? She even helped us come up with perfect songs to walk up and down the aisle to. She had so many great ideas from different eras and genres. On the big day, she kept the dance floor full the whole reception with guests of all ages. Throughout the process, she was also a total professional and a joy to work with. I'll always remember and treasure the music from our special day. I wish she could've played hours more. Oh the company overall was nice to work with, too. Dave sent me reminders to make payments, and they have an interface on their site for you to enter your requests which was a really fun activity for me and my husband. 100 out of 10 recommend MK and JTD.

Dave Leonard is the best DJ in the Hudson Valley and we were so happy to have him as part of our wedding. He has amazing energy and is a pro at fueling a party. He got to know our style and matched that to ensure everyone (of all generations) was dancing all night. He worked closely with our Caterer (Lekker) and coordinator (Lydia, Catskill Weddings) to ensure the reception flowed seamlessly and adjusted when needed without bothering us, the couple. We were in very good hands and had no doubt everyone would have an amazing time. We highly recommend Dave and the JTD team.

I cannot say enough great things about Dave. He went above and beyond for us with our wedding at very step of the way. We had our wedding in a big empty field, which had some challenges, especially when it came to setting up electronics like music, and coordinating for our musician friends who were playing as well. Dave took the extra time and effort to coordinate all things music ahead of time so that everything was under control, and we didn’t have an extra thing to worry about. His positive attitude is infectious, he’s a great communicator, prompt with responses while also being patient (which we greatly appreciate because we’re not great at timely communication ourselves😅). As I’m typing this, I just got a text from one of our guests saying that our wedding was one of the funnest they’ve ever been to, and I can confidently say that much of the credit for that goes to our DJ. We couldn’t believe it when we came back from taking our couples’ photos and the dance floor was completely full before dinner was even finished being served! It was exactly the energy we wanted on our big day, and we’re grateful we had Dave to make it so.

MK was an amazing DJ! She ran our reception super smooth, kept the energy up throughout the event. Dave set us all up super well, would def use these guys again!

Dave Leonard - owner of JTD was our DJ for our wedding at Hunter and holy crap he crushed it. He has been an experienced DJ for many years and we wanted someone who was familiar with the logistics of our venue who we could trust with strong party vibes. He played banger after banger after banger. He takes your personal style and makes a masterpiece of a party with it. We received so many compliments on the music and he did a phenomenal job fading and mixing tracks to keep the dance vibes strong all night long. Guests from every age group complimented on the variety and mix throughout the wedding. He also came to us to check with any requests and to make sure everything was correct. He was amazing. Dave was also super responsive and accommodating to our vision for the wedding. His questionnaire platform was thorough and easy to use and helped us identify the timeline/music and flow for our reception. Our party would not have been a success without him and we are so grateful he contributed greatly and exceeded our expectations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We loved working with Dave! He was super responsive, helped coordinate equipment with the venue and ceremony musician, and provided uplighting. The portal was easy to use - we just dropped in our favorite music choices and added some notes about our style, and Dave did the rest. All of the music was perfect - from the first dance, to dinner music that showcased our love for alt/indie/folk, to a last minute slow dance for my dad and grandma, and the fun dance floor hits that, and I quote, made my cousin feel like she was "dancing in a frat house basement" (HUGE compliment). Everything was perfect, and EVERYONE had an incredible time! THANK YOU DAVE!

Where to start, JTD recommended one of their TOP DJs for our wedding this past weekend. Ceremony went great, reception not as well. First, the DJ wasn’t paying attention to our family and bridal party that he lined up to come into the reception and skipped over 2 sets of our bridal party entrances but wait it gets better he then announces the wrong people as us! He announced the wrong people as the bride and groom! I was livid! Our entrance officially as husband and wife, ruined, given to someone else. Then, even though we said we would allow requests, he never played a single song anyone requested and then if that wasn’t terrible enough when my dad asked for a request he was beyond rude to him even though he had enough time still to play another song. The next day, I emailed the owner to express my frustrations and how appalled we were, after a week of back and forth he says he will give us our tip money back & proceeds to send an email making excuses and blaming us basically for his DJs mistakes, I’m sorry how did we mess up the entrance to our reception? Please think twice before choosing this company for your special day. You want happy memories, not stressful, Upsetting ones.

We hired JTD to DJ our wedding and we couldn't be more happy that we did. Michael was our DJ and he was so thoughtful and so fun on the day of the event. We had to reschedule our wedding twice due to covid, and JTD and Michael were so flexible with us. We were specific on our requests for our wedding reception and Michael graciously met all of our needs. We can't recommend them enough!

We hired JTD Productions to DJ our wedding in June of 2021 on the strength of a few conversations we had with Dave, the owner (he sure is a talker!). It was clear he had a ton of experience and knew what he was talking about/doing. Even so, it is only natural to worry about every detail in a wedding, and music is a big deal obviously. We needn't have worried - Dave came through and did a great job. He had our guests dancing like crazy and the music was exactly as we had discussed beforehand - there wasn't a single hiccup I can think of musically, which is saying something. We couldn't have been happier with how things worked out, and if we were to do it again, we'd go with JTD with no hesitation. The only minor quibble I'd mention is that if you'd like Dave to DJ personally, as opposed to one of the other DJ's in his stable, it'll cost a bit more. Other than that, you're in good hands.

DJ Michael was an absolute gem to work with. He was extremely helpful and friendly during our planning process. Everything about wedding planning is stressful but booking and working with our DJ was not. We were extremely indecisive and kept changing our minds about songs and speaking and DJ Michael was flexible and understanding throughout. Day of he absolutely crushed it! Our entire party was dancing the night away and when the party ended it was next to impossible to get everyone off the dance floor. 10/10 5 stars!

Without question, Dave was the best vendor decision we made. From making sure we were ready for our first dance, to masterfully navigating the rhythm of the dance party, Dave had everyone moving the entire time. He was very conscientious of our selections/wishes, checking with us before playing requests that'd effectively 'bump' our choices. He even obliged an encore for 3 additional songs. The next day, 2 guests asked me for his info to refer to their loved ones while my 3 year old nephew told his mom, "My legs are still wiggly." I whole heartedly recommend hiring Dave for your event - you will not be disappointed.

DJ Dave Leonard is the Best! I can’t recommend JTD productions and DJ Dave Leonard highly enough! Dave has DJ’d 3 weddings in our family and while each celebration was very different, the one thing they shared was an incredibly well coordinated event with non- stop dancing for guests of all ages. Dave most recently worked our daughter’s wedding on October 2, 2021, providing music and MC services from cocktail hour through the sparkler exit. He is an enthusiastic professional who is a lot of fun to work with! He consulted with our daughter and son-in law regarding the music playlist and touched base with both of us on our desired timeline and flow of the evening, adding great suggestions to keep the party moving and the guests dancing. Dave responds to changing situations seamlessly. At one point a glass was broken on the dance floor and without skipping a beat, the music changed to “Walking on Broken Glass” ~ instantly diffusing any tension and keeping the guests totally entertained! In addition to the music and MC services Dave provided festive uplighting and set us up with a quality cordless microphone for clear, easy to understand speeches. Importantly, he also works effortlessly with the venue staff and is very responsive! Dave and his JTD team are top notch-simply THE BEST! I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!!

DJ Michael was AMAZING! He was the perfect MC for the night and knew how to get the party started. Our friends and families were SO happy to dance all night until the very last song for a curfew’s hard stop. He was also just so friendly, professional, and loved what he was doing— had a smile the entire time!! We had such a great time with him, we had to pull him onto the dance floor to dance with us. You need this kind of energy for your wedding!

Shawn our DJ and Dave at JTD Productions could not have possibly been any more accommodating. For our June 5th wedding, we had originally booked special day last year, but due to the pandemic it was pushed. The whole team was able to push to our new date no problem. Shawn was extremely nice and helpful and a welcoming vibe. He was very easy going in the planning process. I created a share document for us to exchange music ideas and it became really fun. On the big day, he was totally on point playing exactly the best song to play at each moment. He played our list, but also through in some of his own picks that fit the day perfectly. I could not help but tip them at the end of the day, they were all extremely professional and we all had an amazing time - totally worth it. People say it was the best wedding ever. Book JTD and you won't be disappointed!

Beyond happy with JTD Productions! DJ Dave was super attentive and made sure that our special day was as good as we hoped if not better! We were both pretty clueless when it came to planning a wedding but Dave took the time to listen and make suggestions. He was up for all of our ideas and really brought the party to life. Our DJ, Dave Leonard, and the entire JTD crew were amazing! Working with them was very easy, as they were always quick to respond to our questions and we're very flexible as our event evolved due to Covid-19. Dave's professionalism and talent really made our wedding a special, fun event for us and our guests. Dave did a phenomenal job using our requests to craft a wonderful set list that adapted seamlessly to any given moment. Dave was quick and his feet and always played the right song and struck the right chord. Due to Covid-19, we had a smaller reception than we originally planned. We intend to have a bigger reception in the future, and we will absolutely be using Dave and JTD.

DJ Michael was incredible. He read the room perfectly, feeding off of our energy and joy, selecting songs that were both totally in line with what we wanted and exhibiting his great taste. My friends and family are really into music, and many people came up to tell us he was the best DJ ever. We were literally chanting his name at the end of the night. Everyone we worked with throughout our planning process was kind and professional. Do yourself a favor and choose JTD Productions. You won't regret it.

After reviewing our options for our (planned) wedding in March 2020 we settled on JTD due to price and location, but after working directly with Dave and having our wedding postponed due to Covid-19, I know that we made the best possible choice. Dave was super flexible about changing dates and then worked with us to make sure that our "new" wedding plan would go off without a hitch from a music perspective. He was able to tailor a custom playlist for us using just a few suggestions to get our "vibe". He also worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure he hit every timing que. From our first dance, to personalized songs for the BM and MOH speeches Dave nailed EVERYTHING. The music was great, the up lights he brought added some great atmosphere, and most importantly Dave made things EASY. We didn't have to worry about anything and the whole thing came off perfect. 10 out of 10 stars!

I was really worried we were going to end up with the classic cheesy wedding DJ. JTD and our DJ Michael immediately put our worries at ease. Not only was Michael not cheesy he brought more to the DJ table than I could have imagined. Numerous times my bride and I looked at each other and were shocked that he picked the perfect song for the moment. It really made our day special. JTD also worked with us when we had to push our wedding back because of Covid. Everything was perfect.

Dave DJ-ed our September 2019 wedding. He was everything we were looking for in our wedding DJ: he understood our vibe, was very professional and responsive throughout the process. He DJ-ed our ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception working directly with the venue. All of it was very seamless and easy for us. My wife and I got married on a brisk, but bright day in November. I was worried, we did all of this work, putting in time writing invitations, ordering place cards, setting menus, getting fitted... countless hours on this HUGE event that we will both remember for the rest of our lives. What am are we most worried about? If people are going to have a good time. We invited 180 of our friends, families, and even a few people from work to enjoy the day with us. But our goal was always to make sure people had a good time. The folks at JTD are nothing but professionals and absolutely brought the party. Not only did the dance floor flood with people but it stayed that way the WHOLE NIGHT. All we wanted was to give a good time, and that's what JTD did. We gave them a base selection of songs and intros and Micheal did the rest. If I could give these folks more than 5 stars I absolutely would. By the end of the night, we had people asking who these guys were and looking to book for their wedding. We were absolutely blessed to have them and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.

Michael is our favorite wedding DJ we have ever seen (and not JUST because we're biased to our own wedding!).  The music played was exactly what we wanted, he read the room and kept the party going all night long.  My favorite comment we've received about our wedding (from several guests) is that not only was the DJ amazing, but he looked like he was having so much fun too!

The DJ was fantastic - we had Doug Yoel who did an excellent job with music for the ceremony and the reception. He was very much the right guy for our fusion-ish wedding. When I spoke with him on the phone, he knew a lot of Hindi songs and found great quality versions of Old/classic Hindi and Tamil songs that I had sent him YouTube videos for. A total hit and very responsive to emails and called when he said he would giving us enough time as well. He suggested some timeline changes which we went with and loved.

JTD was amazing for our wedding! The DJ, James, worked with us throughout the entire process and made sure to accommodate our musical tastes throughout. He kept the dance floor packed and handled announcements in a professional and understated manner. I'd recommend this company to anybody looking for a DJ!

We could not be happier with JTD Productions. We were fortunate enough to have Doug DJ our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Prior to the event Doug spent time via multiple phone meetings to get to know us and our music tastes. This was amazing, as he was able to incorporate the "must have" songs we selected via their easy to use portal with the rest of the reception. Doug and JTD were able to provide every song we requested, even if it wasn't in their existing database. We had an absolute blast, and the dance floor was rocking the whole night. The most impressive thing for us was how flawless/fluid the transition was between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Doug was prepared, and was working like a master in the background...without having to get us involved. On your wedding day the less you need to think...the better and Doug ensured that was the case. I would recommend JTD, and specifically Doug for any occasion where DJ services are needed.

Scott was such an awesome part of our wedding day! His personality and energy were very laid-back and easy going which put me at ease (very hard to do for me!) and he didn’t hesitate to say he’d stay as late as we’d like when we realized we were running behind schedule. Scott did the best job not only playing our requests but also reading the vibe of the room and making everyone dance in their seats during dinner and kick their shoes off on the dance floor... which was packed from start to finish. He also was super helpful making announcements for shuttles, favors, and reminders. Scott was great at communicating and was the perfect fit for our best day ever. All of our guests had the best time and we wish we could do it all over again! A few of our guests are professional DJs and went out of their way to compliment Scott on a job well done. Mike and I cannot thank Scott and JTD for the party of our lives!

JTD was great to work with! Doug was such a great DJ and was super on top of it. We chatted before we booked him and he made me feel super confident he was the right fit. We had a phone call the week of the wedding to talk in detail how the night would go. What songs he would play for dinner, or for dancing, how he would make announcements etc. It took a big burden off my shoulders that I wouldn't have to even think about those things on the day of. I received multiple comments about how great the DJ was from my guests!

DJ Jordan from JTD Productions did an amazing job! My husband is Indian and we wanted a mixture of Bollywood and American songs. Jordan played our requested songs and found similar songs to add to the mix. We were dancing all night long. Jordan read the crowd and played a good mixture of music and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend DJ Jordan from JTD.

Doug Yoel from JTD covered our wedding and did an excellent job! He reached out early to make sure we were all on the same page in terms of what we were looking for, how the day was going to go, and who would be attending. He provided audio for our outdoor ceremony despite an unexpected rainstorm, created a low-key yet fun vibe during the cocktail hour, and kept the party hopping as MC and DJ through dinner and the reception. If you're looking for someone who knows what it takes to make an event move smoothly with little muss or fuss, Doug will take care of you!

I highly recommend going with JTD Productions, they are professional throughout the entire planning process. Our DJ was Doug and he was amazing to work with! He spent time getting to know us and our music tastes, which really came across during our reception. He played all our requests and really kept the party going without being too in-your-face. Michael is a superb DJ and I would hire him again in a second. He is such a friendly, down-to-earth guy and just read the mood of the room perfectly. The dance floor was busy all night and there's no better compliment than that. Whenever there was a song that wasn't so popular Michael picked up on it immediately and smoothly transitioned into another track. He was even happy to chat away to one of the kids who was fascinated by what he was doing. We really couldn't have asked for more. Dave and Nellie of JTD Productions already have many well-deserved reviews for being super responsive, friendly, and bringing a great energy to the planning process - so rather than saying more about JTD, we wanted to put in a specific plug for DJ Doug Yoel, who was totally awesome! Doug respected our musical wishes but also brought his own super we)ll-informed knowledge about what works better and less well for wedding music. My husband and I worked with JTD Productions on our wedding on June 22, 2019. To say that we were blown away is an understatement. Our DJ was Scott Stackpole. Scott took the time to understand our style, our musical likes and dislikes, and the exact way in which we were hoping for the reception to flow. I surprised my husband with singing and playing a song on the ukulele during our reception, and Scott was more than willing to speak with me on the phone and work out details prior to the wedding. Dave Leonard was THE BEST to work with. I can't emphasize it enough - he was professional, friendly and on-top of it throughout the entire process. He was easily reached. More importantly - Dave made the party. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception to the after party, Dave seamlessly worked through the perfect rhythm to keep the mood exactly where you wanted it. My dad still talks about the (numerous) friends who were chanting "ONE MORE SONG" at the end of the night. When we booked Dave, we instantly felt we had booked the best possible DJ, and he did not disappoint. You won't regret working with Dave.

Scott was our wonderful DJ at our wedding in August of 2018. He was stellar! So accommodating and helpful! Not only did he really listen to what we wanted to hear played during our reception, he had so many awesome suggestions that worked their way into our playlist seamlessly. We were blown away by how effortless he made the evenings schedule seem! We had really no idea how to move from intros to speeches to dancing to dinner to cake, etc...he helped us make sense of all of that. So much thanks to the JTD family and to Scott especially. Recommend 100%.

We had Michael as our DJ with JTD. He was phenomenal! He played all of our requests and read the crowd perfectly. The dancing/party was the most important part for us and Michael had the dance floor packed the entire time. He was easy to reach and very responsive when we had questions. Also, JTD donates part of the fee to your choice of charity which is another added bonus!

My husband and I used Doug from JTD as our wedding DJ. Doug was great to work with and played all of the music we wanted, made sure or dance floor was full at all times, and executed everything we spoke about before the wedding perfectly. Doug was professional, reliable, and I would highly recommend him. He was extremely responsive during the planning process leading up to our wedding which I find extremely important l.

We interviewed many DJs over the phone and right away Dave stood out from everyone else. His energy is amazing and contagious!! Dave and the team were so great and easy to work with. They are very responsive over email and beyond accommodating. Dave created an atmosphere that we couldn’t even dream of. From intimate beginnings to an awesome dance party, the reception was everything we wanted and more. We ended up extending an hour to keep the party going. Dave was really responsible for making the night so amazing. Hope to work with JTD again in the future!
