Her passion for photography began in high school and continued throughout her time at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a BFA in Photography with a minor in Media Studies. After graduating in 2017, Julianne ventured into freelance photography and has been featured in publications including Richmond Free Press, Richmond Magazine, The Richmonder, and Style Weekly.
