awkward silence. Second, we gave instruction on the parent/child dance and it was disregarded as well - it went on for twice as long as requested. Third, we gave a huge list of songs that our guests requested on their RSVPs. We heard a few of them over the course of the night and any requests were shut down due to a lack of WIFI (cell phone hot spot would have fixed that). We also requested a handful of slow songs and had one. You might think we didn't communicate clearly enough - but there were emails, google docs and playlists passed back and forth. We thought were all set. We were wrong. Overall, wouldn't recommend them again. Maybe we just got a dud for a DJ, but it's such an important part of your event that as a bride who was robbed of her big moment, I can't recommend.

Every couple and event is different, so JPE works with you to set the mood for the event and keep it flowing the whole time. The JPE team has a special touch and methodology to guide its customers through the process of selecting music and setting the tone for your event. For us, we were planning a wedding in Athens while living in NYC. The JPE team made communication a breeze with regular Face-time/Skype calls and prompt email responses. While its always easy to find good music for your run or a long drive, we found deciding music for a wedding much more difficult especially for the first dance, transition songs, etc. The JPE team was there to provide recommendations and other ideas so that we could curate the perfect event. During the event, the JPE team was there early and stayed late. Not only were they focused on the main show (the reception), they were also lending a hand to the rest of the wedding team to make sure our ceremony was smooth by providing microphones and transitioning music during the entire event. Our event was outdoors, so JPE made it easy with multiple speaker set ups, wireless microphones and plenty of tunes. The JPE team have the experience to make your event a success. For us, there was always a special song playing, which inevitably made the night end way too quick. It was a pleasure having them assist us with our wedding, and I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future for other entertainment needs. Thanks for making the event truly spectacular!

They are organized, caring, and more than accommodating. They even flew to Texas for us! From the ceremony to the reception, our guests were ushered by excellent hosts with clear direction, then the dance party hit and everyone went wild into the most killer dance party. Crowd surfing even happened...that's just how good they are. Judah Press has the best selection of music with awesome remixes. We wouldn't hire or recommend anyone else!

wful, it wasn't great. We had guests tell us and could later hear in our video that it was hard to hear speeches or announcements because of the way the speakers were turned. Maybe it was the size of the room. Overall though, they were great to work with and really did what we asked of them!

On our wedding day, he was there ALL DAY LONG. He set up everything we needed and was so proactive in anticipating our needs. He was amazing hosting our reception. He got everyone on their feet to welcome us in to the ballroom and we felt so loved. He played all of our song picks throughout dinner and then had a great mix for the dance party. We had SEVERAL people ask who he was because they wanted him at their next event/wedding. You can't go wrong with Judah Press!!!!

edding, got a feel for what we wanted, and worked with us to create a schedule for the reception. Once we kicked off the dancing, there was never any room on the dance floor! Even my dad was out there, and that was literally the only time I've ever seen him dancing before. Jesse read the crowd with skill, played a great variety of music, and it was all clean. In addition to that, my event coordinator went home sick midway through our reception, but I didn't even know until after our honeymoon because Jesse kept the whole evening running smoothly! Several of our guests have asked us about our DJ, as well as people who were not even at our wedding but heard the reception was awesome! Throughout the whole process Jesse maintained the highest professionalism and exceeded our expectations. He is also a fantastic guy to have leading your guests in a new dance :) You will not regret booking with Judah Press!

s. He kept track of time and would come to us and give us 10 min warnings before we needed to do things like first dance, cutting the cake, etc so that we were able to wrap up visiting out tables. He also stepped in and helped the caterer with making sure we had what we needed at our table as well as making sure our guest were happy. All that to say, not only was he a great DJ but he was a great emcee and always willing to help our other vendors. We heard that a DJ could make or break a classy wedding and Jesse definitely made it!

as the best time I have EVER had at a wedding. And I am not alone... the entire reception was filled for hours and the bride and groom even stayed until late in the evening. It was as if this DJ knew perfectly every age and personality in that room, and he was playing hits that got every single body up and moving. The atmosphere was JUST. SO. FUN. Not only that, it was classy. There were no older couples frowning upon a dirty dance floor. And there were no young folks bored because of the typical reception repetitives. h from Georgia we ended up getting married at the Botanical Gardens in Athens. We were looking for a DJ and our wedding planner recommended Jesse and we couldn't have been happier. We talked over Skype and immediately liked his attitude, enthusiasm and adaptability. We communicated through email a couple of times and then finally met in person the weekend of the wedding. He did a fantastic job with the music but even more importantly he did an amazing job controlling the pace and energy of the wedding. He knew when to switch up the pace of the music to give people a chance to rest or to get people dancing again. Additionally, he had my wife and I play a game that we appropriately called the Shoe Game that for many people was a definite highlight of the reception. We can honestly say that without Jesse, our wedding would not have been the success that it was and we will forever be grateful to him for making our special day so perfect.

We love to dance and have friends and family that love to dance, and Jesse definitely brought the party! In the planning process Jesse was very organized, always responded to communications quickly, provided great ideas to make our reception more personal, and was always very genuine and intentional in communicating that he was going to go to every effort to make sure he made our wedding reception the best night of our lives.
