We took three dresses to Judy’s Bridal for alterations: my daughter’s wedding dress, my mother of the bride dress, and a 1950s tulle reception dress that needed to be taken out jus...
t slightly. For under $1500 total, Judy and her team made each dress PERFECT!
I’d been worried about how the ornate beading and lace on our daughter’s wedding dress would be impacted when trying to shorten it slightly.
I should not have been worried! Judy painstakingly removed each bead around the bottom of the dress and replaced it in the same pattern after shortening the front. It’s seamless! You would never guess any alteration had been done. And that’s the same with the dress’ beaded straps that needed to be shortened: seamless perfection!
My daughter’s dress fit her beautifully and was just stunning!
My mother of the bride dress was also heavily beaded (and sequined), and it had quite a few layers of tulle and lining. Judy cut off the bottom 13” (I’m quite short!), hemmed it beautifully, replaced the beads and sequins perfectly, and took up the sleeves so that they fit nicely. I got SO many compliments on my dress!
Finally, we weren’t sure whether anything could be done to make this 1950s tea-length tulle wedding dress work, but my daughter has loved it since she found it back in 2012. Judy and her team looked at the dress, took measurements, and expertly expanded the bodice by 1”. It fit perfectly and looked exactly as it had before! My daughter’s dream was to wear that dress for her reception, and Judy’s Bridal made it happen!
I cannot say enough about the friendly EXPERTS at Judy’s Bridal. They are truly incredible!
She was wonderful! My dress turned out perfect. She had to fix the straps, hem it, bustle, and fix the chest. It turned out perfect and looked amazing. Highly recommend.
I am very happy with my experience at Judy’s Bridal and Tux. I had bought my wedding dress at another location and my stylist there told me that their tailor wouldn’t be able to ma...
ke the straps how I wanted them. When a I reached out to Judy, she responded promptly to my alteration inquire. At my fitting, she assured me that she and her tailor could make the alterations that I wanted; it would take a little time. She also gave some styling inputs like wearing my hair an updo would complete the bridal look—-which I had previously been undecided about my hair. Customer service was very friendly and the alterations were completed in good time.
I had my measurements done at Judys for an out of state wedding. The shop was charming and the service was amazing. I would recommend this shot to everybody!

different now and I love every inch of it. The ladies were all super nice and friendly, even offering me veil options at my second fitting. All the work they did was quality and timely. My dress fits perfect now and makes me look like a queen. My last fitting was more than I expected; they let me walk full fledged in my dress and veil and even test sitting down to be sure I looked and felt great. These women have keen eyes for detail and kindness beyond words. I'm so glad I took my dress to Judys!

I originally went to Judy to have my wedding dress altered. She was very sweet and listened to what i wanted. she had lots of experience so I let her do what she thought was best. ...
On my way out of my first fitting she asked about tuxes. I told her i was looking for gray tuxes but no one had them so we were thinking of purchasing gray suits. She said that she could get them for me and gave me the link to what was available. There were several choices and i was able to get exactly what i wanted. not only did my dress turn out perfect, but she got me the perfect tuxes as well. And she was inexpensive. keep in mind my pricing is for the tuxes (5 in all) and my dress alterations.
