nd called me right away to discuss my vision for the wedding and we got a trial booked immediately. The trial itself was incredibly detailed and Judy took the time and care to make me feel comfortable and most importantly, it really felt like she listened to my thoughts and was able to incorporate it into the look.
I had an unconventional wedding ceremony, incorporating several outfit changes, and Judy agreed to stay on longer until the reception to help with touch ups and hairstyle/outfit changes. On the day of the wedding itself, Judy showed up early and immediately got to work because of the tight timeline and in the process made my mom, my sister, and I not only look but feel incredibly beautiful and comfortable. It was extra special for me to have Judy there, because she was able to communicate with my mom in Korean - my mom almost never does makeup and was absolutely over the moon with her final look. My mom was able to feel so comfortable and communicate her needs to Judy and I always will remain SO grateful to Judy for making the day extra special for my mom.
And if that’s not enough, Judy was the number one person who had my back during the actual wedding itself. She was constantly making sure that I looked good and helped smooth flyaways and made minute adjustments after every picture to ensure that I looked my best. It was SO relaxing and nice to know that I didn’t have to worry how I would look in pictures because I know Judy had my back throughout the whole time and would never let me look bad. Plus she took a million gorgeous and amazing BTS videos and photos that she immediately shared with me afterwards, which I really appreciated.
I don’t think anyone could go wrong with Judy as their HMUA! I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend her to anyone getting married in the future!!

She absolutely nailed the look I was hoping for and then some. Her attention to detail, understanding of my vision, and ability to enhance my features while keeping everything natural and bridal was beyond impressive.
What made the experience even more special was the fact that Judy also captured photos during the trial—an amazing bonus I didn’t expect! Because she’s so gifted in all three areas—makeup, hair, and photography— I hired her to do a couples photoshoot for me and my fiancé. She was able to adjust my hair and makeup in real time during the shoot, making sure every shot was picture-perfect.
Throughout the session, Judy made both me and my fiancé feel completely at ease. She guided us with gentle pointers and cues, which made the entire experience feel fun, natural, and incredibly professional.

reassured and calm. I was also looking for a HMU artist with experience working with Asian features—Judy couldn’t have been a better choice.
From our very first conversation, I appreciated her detail oriented approach to understanding what I was looking for in my wedding look, and walked me through her process for the makeup trial. The HMU trial was great because Judy tried multiple looks and products, and listened to my feedback and Pinterest inspiration throughout. It gave me such confidence in the day of look and experience.
Judy was also responsive throughout the process, whether that was recommending products for touch ups, or responding with such kindness to a panicky email after I had a waxing issue with my eyebrows.
The actual wedding morning went so smoothly (she did both my and my sister’s hair and makeup), and even accommodated a very last minute ask to do my mom’s makeup. I couldn’t recommend Judy more for anyone (bride or not) to look and feel their best!

Let me tell you, Judy is an absolute magician with hair + makeup. During the trial, she took one look at the inspiration photo I showed her and completely nailed the look I wanted for my eyes. And it wasn't just me—my mom absolutely loved her make up. It was my mom's first time with formal make up, and Judy was so kind, helpful, and skillful.
Even my bridesmaid, who had just flown in on a red-eye flight, looked like she'd gotten a full night's sleep after Judy was done with her. But it's not just her talent that's impressive—it's her personality too. Judy's such a sweetheart, chatting away and making everyone feel comfortable. My partner, dad, and brother also requested her services. They loved it - my partner turned to me and immediately said he should follow the routine she showed him. He even asked her for the high quality skincare product recommendations! Judy's makeup skills are no joke. That stuff stayed put all night long, through all the dancing and celebrating.

Her team was able to make all 11 of us (myself/moms/bridesmaids) feel beautiful and confident in our hair and makeup, which lasted all day and night. Her bright and generous personality made all the ladies feel comfortable and at ease. In addition, her price packages are excellent compared to a lot of H&MU artists in the city which is why I went with her. The entire process from connecting with her, getting my personalized quote, drafting the tentative 5-6 hour schedule, working with my wedding planner, etc was so much fun and simple with Judy. She tried several different versions of my inspiration photos so that we could settle on just the right look. As an Asian bride, I was really looking for a makeup artist who had experience with features like mine (monolids, etc.) - Judy was excellent on this front. My wedding day makeup turned out perfectly, and I could not have been happier with Judy's work! She also did a beautiful job with my bridesmaids, my mom, and my future MIL. Our moms loved being pampered and glammed up:)

to enhance vs. minimize (read: her skills are well beyond an average wedding MUA), and picked the exact color palette I wanted (often after giving me the time to decide between colors that are very very close together). On my wedding day, she executed flawlessly, even though people consistently showed up late, and we had last minute additions.
Beyond weddings, she has been responsible for many fashion shows -- I was fortunate to be able to book her relatively last minute (about within half a year of my wedding date). I highly recommend her!

s. I’m someone who never wears makeup and wanted a natural look, and she worked with me to create exactly what I envisioned. Knowing she has done work in high fashion, I appreciate that she’s versatile and extremely experienced. I asked a lot of questions, and she had the patience and knowledge to guide me through them. As a note, she does a killer eyeliner look! I felt truly cared for and can’t wait to use her services for my wedding in 2021!

ing day. The day before my wedding day she took the time to call and make sure to remind me to prep my skin for the next day. On the day of the wedding she was early and was able to immediately able to do my makeup, my mothers, and that of my maid of honor. We all looked amazing. Honestly cannot describe how well my make up lasted the proof was well into the next day! Lashes lasted without a flaw and lip touch ups were simple to keep up with. Highly appreciated her patience and her gift in making skin look flawless. I always struggled with acne and she made my skin look clear and natural. Would recommend to anyone out there looking for someone to bring the very best game to their bridal makeup.
