I had the honor of working with Jules on TWO different wedding dresses. I had one picked out that she tailored and hemmed BEAUTIFULLY, only for us to have to postpone our March 202...
0 wedding to March of 2022. In that time, I picked out a completely different dress with a totally different style. Jules did an amazing job on both, made me feel super comfortable, sought my input and offered her professional opinion. Both dresses had delicate lace that she handled beautifully and turned out like they created exactly for me from the start. I appreciated working with her and plan to take any and all tailoring needs her way!
Jules did a beautiful job on my wedding dress and was very personable and pleasant to work with. She's a straight shooter and was very clear about what she planned to/was able to d...
o and I greatly appreciated that. I decided to take my dress to her after reading a nice review of her in a Bride-To-Bride Facebook group (I drove from Clawson to Sterling Heights to see her) and I am so glad I did, she is amazing! I highly recommend her to future brides.
Jules did such an amazing job altering my Hayley Paige wedding gown and it was done for a great price! She made me feel at ease with the process and made perfect adjustments to my ...
dress. I will always go to her from now on for any alterations needs.
Jules was a pure godsend from the beginning. I bought my dress in New York and really went back and forth on flying to New York for alternations or finding someone I trusted locall...
y in Detroit. Thank goodness I found Jules! From the minute I met her I knew she had my back and was going to take great care of me and my dress. I loved going to her shop because she is so incredibly fun and she makes you feel so good about yourself. My dress looked absolutely perfect for my wedding and the handmade veil that Jules created for me was the icing on the cake. I will recommend Jules over and over again! Thank you thank you thank you, Jules!
Jules is awesome. She is so welcoming and has an energy about her that makes you excited about your wedding. Only complaint is that she was expensive. My dress looked beautiful but...
I was very surprised when she handed me the bill at how much it was for alterations
Jules was fantastic. My dress was intricate and had no seams so it was incredibly challenging to fit properly. Jules took the time to make sure that my dress was perfect and I was ...
comfortable. It was a tad more than I had planned to spend, but it is worth it to feel flawless on your big day.
Jules is AMAZING! I was referred to her by my mother-in-law (she, and her mother, have been using Jules forever) and one of my friends. She is truly a Godsend to brides. Her wor...
k is impeccable. I had an all-lace dress with intricate details throughout. I was so nervous to let anyone touch it for fear that it would be destroyed. Jules was able to hem my dress, adjust the beaded straps, alter it, and design a French bustle in such a timely fashion. When I got my dress from Jules, I was blown away. Not only did it fit like a glove, but also every adjustment looked completely natural! I couldn’t tell at all that the dress had been manipulated. Additionally, she was able to make me a cathedral veil that perfectly matched the lace on my dress. It was stunning! Jules also worked on my mother’s and sister’s dresses, my mother-in-law’s dress, and one of my bridesmaids. We were all immensely impressed with Jules’ work. I am so happy that I chose to work with her!
I found Jules through my cousin who had her alterations done by her. Fabulous work! Jules made my veil, hemmed my dress, and did my bussel. She was aware that I didn't want to go w...
ay over budget but also wanted to look great of course. Her customer service is amazing. When making my veil, she found a small hole in the fabric and started over completely. It is her dedication and eye for perfection that make her an outstanding seamstress. I chose her over my bridal store for alterations because she was able to make it more personalized and everything was so well done.
MY DRESS! MY VEIL! JULES! I can't imagine having purchased a dress off the rack after working with Jules Joyner! I handed Jules a couple of Vera Wang photos and asked her to make m...
y dress. That's it...and then over time she created a beatiful, custom piece. Everyone was awed by the dress - even the men asked me if I had it made! AMAZING - Jules is simply AMAZING!
