My name is Alison and I'm the owner of Julia Alison Photography. I am a wedding photographer based in DFW, and I specialize in capturing precious wedding memories. My ambition is to tell your love story through gorgeous pictures, and to curate a gallery of images that accurately showcases the spirit of your big day.
I have more than ten years worth of valuable experience as a wedding photographer. The most important thing to me as that my clients feel comfortable, and that you get all of the images you want on your special day! Taking photos can often feel awkward, but I'm there to ease your worries and offer you guidance every step of the way! My work is often described as colorful, timeless, joyful and romantic. My goal is to highlight your connection and deliver beautiful images for you to enjoy for years to come.
I offer a variety of wedding packages to fit your needs. These include anything from simple engagement photo sessions to full-service collections that cover your entire wedding season. After celebrating your big day, you and your spouse can look forward to viewing your photos via an online gallery, where you can download the images at high resolution directly to your computer. Wedding albums and printed enlargements can also be ordered through this gallery or ordered on your own.

At my wedding she treated me like a friend and was so supportive, uplifting, and kind. When family photos happened she was quick to command the room so we could get through photos. Her second shooter was super creative and fun, too! I appreciated having two shooters.
She was always punctual (if not, early) and communicated thoroughly to keep me updated on things.

When it started raining during our session, she even offered to schedule a second half-session with us on another day to make up for what we missed because of the rain.
She was super helpful in terms of helping with the wedding timeline and making suggestions to make sure we had the best lighting for our ceremony and family pictures.
On our wedding day, everything went so smoothly and I got all of the pictures with family and friends that I wanted. She told me she takes pictures of literally everything, and she was not kidding. Our wedding gallery perfectly captured every moment of our special day.
She gave us a wonderful sneak peek with so many pictures to hold us over until we got the full gallery back. All of our pictures are beautiful and I will forever cherish them.

e hit the jackpot. I had never met Alison before the actual wedding day. Yet, I felt so comfortable with her as we talked to her about what we wanted on our big day. She was so professional, sweet, and incredibly talented. My groom kept saying how she was so nice and totally was our style by making things quick and easy on the day of so we could spend more time with our guests. Every shot she took was beautiful. Her photography is so natural and romantic. And her second shooter was absolutely fabulous as well! There couldn’t have been a better photographer to capture our special day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Hired Alison for my daughter’s wedding & engagement photos. The engagement photos were nice, had about 30 to choose from. However the wedding photos were a mess and not what we exp...

My main complaint was that she didn’t follow the list of photos my daughter requested be taken at the wedding....bride with sister, bride with grandmother, etc. We gave Alison that paperwork a month in advance. She didn’t go off the list and sadly we were missing photos that were very important to us. NO PHOTO OF THE BRIDE WITH HER MOTHER! (That would be me). Also she took half the chapel pictures where the sun was on some of the people and didn’t filter it out. Lots of duplicates and unnecessary photos were submitted, 606 total. She was very pricy, we paid over $2k. She also will not give out the originals. I will say that even though I am not happy with her work, my daughter was pleased with the pictures which is the only reason I gave her two stars. I gave Alison a chance to try to make it right but the only response I got was “I’m sorry you feel that way.” I have another daughter who will be getting married in the next couple of years and we will be giving our business to someone else.
