If I could give Julia 10 stars I absolutely would. My fiancé and I met Julia when we first met and she had taken photos for him in his boxing career and training. Because of her history with taking photos for him, when I saw her at one of his fights I thought it was just another photo opportunity in his element. Turns out that he had hired her to capture our engagement! She was so kind and friendly and absolutely hilarious and I am so thankful that she was there to capture such a special moment in my life. I can’t wait to have her capture my wedding day as well!

Julia is the best photographer probably in all of Massachusetts. I have seen a lot and she is by far the best. I am a professional boxer and Julia took photos at my last bout and I was more than satisfied with the end product! She also did my twin boys’ first birthday party as well as my recent engagement shoot. Those photos were incredible!! She has a great personality, and is easy to work with. Photographs are completed and delivered in a timely manner as well. You’re the best Julia!!

I had Julia as my photographer this past June 2018 for my wedding. I live on the West Coast so trying to plan a wedding that was on the East Coast was a little stressful. I did not get to meet with Julia before the wedding but she always set aside time for me to speak to her on the phone whenever I needed. When she arrived the day of the wedding to start photos at the hotel I was already a little stressed but she jumped right in and made the day go a little easier for me. I have posted all my pictures online and I’ve had so many wonderful compliments on how amazing they are. I have already printed out a whole bunch and they are hanging up all over my house. She was a very professional, friendly photographer to work with, and her prices were very reasonable. If you choose Julia for your wedding you will not regret it.

Julia is very professional, flexible, and laid back. Before the wedding, she asked us for any must-have photos (with my wife's aunt, etc.) and made sure she took all of them. I was so comfortable with Julia and so was everyone else. She is professional, but also fun. She had no problem organizing wedding party/family photos and telling people what to do in a nice/funny way. She can handle your prima donna cousin and your cranky uncle. Julia took the time to understand what we wanted, offered suggestions on how to execute our vague ideas, and exceeded expectations. I couldn’t be happier.

We have used Julia for photography 3 times. The first time was with my son who has Autism and doesn't typically like his picture taken. She was great with him and he enjoyed himself which was evident in the pictures. I have them hanging in my living room and could not choose a favorite! The second time was for our wedding and she captured our day perfectly. Our favorite part was some of the candids she captured throughout the night. The most recent time was our maternity shoot and so far I love what I have seen. She is great at capturing people's true personality in the pictures. She also has a great turn around time and provides quality work. I can't wait to schedule our newborn photos with her.

Julia was AMAZING to work with! We hired her for our engagement shoot. My fiance was dreading this wedding task (don't they all?) She made him (and I ) feel so comfortable and gave us such good direction. We also had our huge slobbery dog with us because we desperately wanted him in a few photos. She was so patient while we begged him to sit still. The photos turned out so beautiful! She was such a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend, especially to those brides- to -be with difficult grooms that are dreading being photographed - she captured so many smiles and memories that we will have forever.

I am so happy that we picked Julia to shoot our engagement and wedding photos! When beginning our search, my now husband and I felt like we were searching in the dark and had no idea what to expect, but I cannot be more thrilled with our choice and the photos we will cherish for years and years and years. First off, we are not cutesy people and had no idea how to interact with a stranger who is supposed to be able to capture the essence of what our relationship is, but Julia did an amazing job! We booked her for our engagement shoot first, and she really put us at ease by making us laugh and asking us (and really listening to) what we wanted. The photos came out beautifully and we used a few of them for our save the date, the cover of our guestbook, and framed pictures for other wedding -related events. On our wedding day (July 2017) Julia was so flexible and easy to work with. She captured so many wonderful moments of our wedding that went by in an instant, that we are now able to treasure forever! My husband comes from a huge family who wanted to be a part of our formal photos. When this did not go exactly as planned (because surprise! people don't always follow directions) we were able to adjust our picture timeline and Julia was a huge help. SO long story short- Chris and I loved working with Julia. She was a blast and she takes AMAZING pictures. She will put you at ease along with the way with her expertise and professionalism. I highly highly recommend her to shoot your wedding (or anything else you are considering)!

My husband and I were just married this past June in Plymouth and Julia was our photography and what a blessing it was to have her! The images she captured were able to preserved so many special moments from that day. Julia was very easy to work with through the whole planing process and always quick to respond. I was planning the wedding the about 4,000 miles away and didn't meet her face to face until the day of our wedding, but it didn't matter, b/c she was all dialed in. We received our photos in a timely manner and she even did a quick edit of a 3 images the morning after the wedding to send to us, which was perfect b/c we were able to send those images to family who couldn't make at and we also used one of the images for our thank you card. Where do I begin? Julia photographed our wedding at the River Club in April 2017. Julia was fantastic to work with and I feel very grateful that she was my photographer on the happiest day of my life. Julia was extremely professional, but enjoyable to work with. My husband and I don't love taking photos, but she kept us laughing and made the shoot painless and fun! It was extremely windy and challenging that day for Julia, but she still managed to keep her composure and took some amazing shots. I felt the love, excitement, and joy from every photo she captured. I know who I am going to call when my husband and I start a family and want another shoot! Shes truly amazing and you will not be disappointed in her work.

Julia was so great to us. Our original photographer double booked our day and we were so stressed on finding another to fit our needs. I am writing this review to hopefully help those of you enduring the stressful wedding planning process. I had contacted Ms. Bykowski a few months ago in hopes of finding a photographer for my wedding in the Summer of 2017. I felt hopeful in the week of correspondence with her as she let me know the date was open and we could meet the following Saturday. I asked her to bring a contract as I was hoping to book with her upon meeting. She lived in Quincy and I agreed to make the 45 minute drive to meet with her. While on my drive, with less than fifteen minutes to our meeting time, I saw a voicemail on my phone from Ms. Bykowski. She was "trying to catch me before I left" informing me that another couple had put a deposit in for my wedding date and she would not be meeting with me. In speaking with her to clarify her voicemail she continued to coldly disregard my feelings by stating "Well I'm sorry you feel that way." Not once in our week of correspondence, did she mention another couple being interested in the same date. My fiancé works in the wedding industry and it is pretty routine practice to always give the first inquirer first dibs on the date and keep open communication between both parties. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism or sincerity and I felt incredibly misled. If you are interested in booking Ms. Bykowski please be aware of this situation and although she may have the best of intentions, she lacks experience in customer service for an event that is stressful for many people.

Julia photographed our wedding in June, 2015, and was absolutely amazing in every way. She takes beautiful photos and got the full range of shots from formal, posed photos to candid shots on the dance floor. Everyone loved her, and my sister even wants to fly her out for her wedding! Highly recommend her and her work!

Where to even start?! Julia is amazing, not only as a photographer, but a person too! She always made us feel comfortable both on and off camera. Leading up to our wedding she made sure that she gave us a package that fit right into our budget and was always available for any questions we had. The night of our wedding she was professional, but blended right in. I felt like she was one of our guests, who happened to be doing our photography too, and as a result our photos came out AMAZING! We were able to be ourselves in front of the camera with Julia and that's hard to do sometimes. If I had to do it all over, I'd go with Julia 100 out of 100 times! I literally can't say enough good things, she's the best!

Julia has been so great with us from day 1. She gave us a great deal and took wonderful pictures. She wasn't up in our faces like some photographers can be, on the contrary, she was so nice and we hardly noticed her as she moved around. Definitely recommend.

My fiancee and I were lucky enough to have Julia shoot our engagement photos - and they came out AMAZING! Julia is personable and friendly, and understands how to make couples relax and feel at ease. She would let us relax and be playful and funny, but also knew how to find 'just the right shot' and give us guidance on how to stand, sit, or look at each other to capture the moment just right. I was impressed by the diversity on her blog too, which showed me that she is creative and thinks 'out of the box' but also knows how to capture those timeless photos - like engagement or wedding photos! Our images were received on time and expertly polished too. I can't wait to have her do my baby photos one day!

There really are no words to describe my gratitude for Julia. She is completely professional but somehow makes you feel at home, like a cousin with a camera, she directed my wedding party with ease and got amazing shots. When it was time for pictures of just my husband and I she blew us away with taking in our surroundings and capturing the most unique pictures that I will treasure for a lifetime. I hired Julia to photograph my wedding in May of 2014. She was amazing! Took fantastic pictures that I will treasure forever and show my children and future grandchildren when I'm old and gray! She was very attentive to capturing all of the special moments we had and worked wonders trying to capture pictures of my 1 year old toddler who would NOT stay still! Julia was our photographer at our wedding in April and we cannot recommend her enough! From our very first meeting, for our engagement shoot, we found her to be approachable, friendly and professional. She traveled 50 miles so that we could shoot at our desired location and took a wide variety of shots in different settings so we had a lot to choose from. Our wedding was at a non-traditional location and Julia did a great job of capturing our special day in an unusual setting and was even willing to stay an extra hour upon our request. After the wedding we received multiple copies of all shots so that we got the chance to review everything and choose our favorites to print. Thank you, Julia!

My partner and I married on August 16th and Julia captured that day and those moments perfectly. She was a consummate professional. I found Julia through MyBridalPix.com and she made me an offer I couldn't refuse. We emailed back and forth a million times and she answered all my questions. On the day of the wedding she did everything I wanted and more. She even laid down in the sand to get a few shots! All the photos were edited beautifully and she even edited out people in the background for some of the nicer shots. She was professional but still laid back enough to match our personalities and casualness of our wedding. None of the photos look stuffy with everyone posed in uncomfortable positions. It was a great day and I have great pictures to remember it by. I would definitely ask her to do my photos in the future!
