Julia is a amazing to work with and she did a phenomenal job capturing the moments, feelings, emotion, and love of our wedding day! From the beginning, when we first met her at a coffee shop and she brought some of her favorite photos with her and my mom started to cry from the raw emotions present in the images, to after the wedding when Julia was timing delivering our wedding photos around my board schedule, she is an incredibly kind person that wants to make your day as special as possible. To be honest, I was a completely indecisive bride and I spoke to many wedding photographers. However, when I met with Julia, everything clicked and I instantly trusted her to capture the most important day of my life. And even more so than that, Julia cared so much about making our day magical. You will find that many professionals are there to get the job done and that's it. With Julia, you gain a friend that makes you feel so comfortable taking pictures and portraits (which otherwise can just be totally awkward). She was also so generous with helping me plan wedding day timelines, photo list requests, and everything else! I am in awe of her talent and I have been stopped/approached by many wedding vendors/friends asking who my photographer was because our photos were just that remarkable. There is no better wedding photographer in Chicago and you cannot go wrong with choosing Julia.

I highly recommend Julia Franzosa for your wedding photography! We used her for our engagement photos, and our wedding at Chicago History Museum. We were both nervous before our engagement session because we never had professional photos taken before, and she really was able to put us at ease. And of course our pictures turned out beautiful. On our wedding day, she was able to blend in and take beautiful photos without feeling like you were followed by paparazzi! She even killed the bugs that were crawling up my wedding dress in the park! I would highly recommend her for your event, you won't regret it!

Julia did an outstanding job on our wedding photos and we could not be happier! Julia came highly recommended to us by our wedding planner, Megan Estrada of North Shore Weddings & Events, and when my mom & I first met with Julia we both knew right away that we wanted to work with her. Not only were we extremely impressed by her work when she showed us some of her sample wedding albums (all of them absolutely gorgeous!), but we were equally as impressed by Julia as a person-she is very friendly, smart and the ultimate professional. My husband (then fiance) and I had a great time working with Julia during our engagement photo session--and I knew right away from the way that Julia immediately makes you feel comfortable and at ease when taking a series of pictures that she was the perfect photographer for us. Julia captured some great images of us during the engagement photo session that we used for our website, and we received many compliments from family & friends on the pictures. On our actual wedding day--hard to believe that it is almost a month ago now (12.13.14)--we had a great time working with Julia. She and her team captured some fantastic images of us while we were getting ready, during our first look, at the ceremony and then at the reception. One of my favorite aspects of Julia's work is how beautiful and natural her photographs are--she truly captures genuine human emotion in all of her pictures. I absolutely love her work and feel beyond lucky to have had her as our wedding photographer. I would HIGHLY recommend Julia to anyone who is looking for an outstanding wedding photographer who is not only incredibly talented, but really fun to work with too.

Her photos are absolutely beautiful. We worked with Julia to shoot our engagement photos (in 3 separate sessions) and then our day-of, getting ready, pre-ceremony wedding shoot. Her style is so romantic, but fresh and modern at the same time. She edits photos extremely fast and delivers them in professional manner. Julia put us at ease and made us laugh throughout each photo-shooting experience, when we felt awkward or nervous.
