Julia Jane Weddings

We cannot say enough nice things about Julia. She absolutely went above and beyond! From all the surprise gifts throughout the year to capturing all of the important details on our wedding, we couldn't be happier with the photos. Julia is really easy to work with and makes sure she captures your day as you want it. She is definitely in it to make sure you get exactly what you want. We also loved working with her second shooter Michelle! We definitely recommend her without any hesitation!

Julia has gone above and beyond to make sure our photo experience has been great from start to finish. She truly cares about her clients and was so nice to be around on our wedding day. She does a great job of capturing emotion, color and light. It was a grey, rainy day the day of our wedding and she still found a way to make our photos look bright and magical. She's been very responsive, as well, in these few months post wedding, as we've had lots of questions about posting and ordering photos.

Julia is amazing. I saw some of her work and knew I wanted to hire her for my wedding; I am so glad I did. She is so kind, professional, extremely talented and went above and beyond my expectations. My pictures are absolutely perfect. My whole bridal party is still raving about her and how the pictures came out. Her and her partner were amazing!!! I highly recommend Julia Jane studios! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

I loved loved loved working with Julia! She always went above and beyond. I’m not surprised to see everyone has given her 5 stars. Some of my favorite things about her: -We did our engagement photos with her and got the perfect shot for our save the date. The package we got included an hour but she shot for way longer than that and gave us an amazing selection of photos to choose from. She was really flexible about scheduling; we had to cancel twice due to bad weather. She turned the photos around FAST because she knew we had a save the date deadline. -She sent really thoughtful presents along the way like tea and a bath bomb to relax before the big day! She also sent an accordion photo thingy of her favorite shots to us and both of our parents as a thank you. She made working with her a true experience. -She was such a calming presence the day of. I have no idea how she got every single important shot but she did! And I didn’t even do a very good job of describing the important shots we wanted. -She was so helpful in the planning process. She was always full of recommendations and helpful tips. I emailed her a lot of random questions and she was always prompt and thorough in her responses. Julia is so talented and I'm so happy to have worked with her!

Julia did an amazing job with both our engagement and wedding photos. Her communication was timely, she made sure to have all the needed shots and details ahead of the day, she was prompt and fast, and returned our beautiful shots within our agreed time! She is very artistic and professional, and absolutely met our very high expectations. Highly recommended.

Julia is the best wedding photographer ever! I've attended a lot of family and friends' weddings over the years where the photographer(s) have been intrusive, bossy, or not assertive enough in order to a) get awesome photos and b) allow everyone to enjoy the experience. Julia was the perfect blend of kind, calm, assertive, creative, and positive. She has an awesome sense of humor and instantly made my husband and me feel comfortable and even had us laughing much of the time! Many couples meet Julia in advance of their wedding either for engagement sessions or because she makes a point of making herself available for pre-wedding meetings and conversations. My husband and I didn't do this, so we literally met Julia in person for the first time on our wedding day! Though I must say, I felt like we knew her for a long time when we met. She's a really comforting presence! My groom and I were anxious leading up to our wedding and are generally anxious people who don't do a lot of PDA. We made assumptions about how we would feel on our wedding day given our desire not to be the focus of everyone's attention, and communicated this in advance with Julia. She was so understanding and was ready to make us feel comfortable on our wedding day. To our happy surprise, my husband and I both felt uncharacteristically relaxed and affectionate on our wedding day. This, combined with Julia's sense of humor and calmness, encouraged us to actually really enjoy the photography process! We took so many photos with her in various locations and my groom and I shared plenty of kisses for photos, too. Julia was adaptable and listened to us and what we needed and wanted throughout the day. There were times she grabbed us for photos (when there was a unique opportunity, good lighting, etc.) and there were times we grabbed her for photos we wanted. Julia also brought along a second shooter, Rachel, who was just as much a pleasure to work with! Between the two of them and their expertise and teamwork, we moved efficiently through a long list of family and wedding party photos. They both worked really well with all kinds of family members and guests, even the kids and babies. I am so grateful that we found Julia. She added so much to the wedding and perhaps most importantly, she and Rachel documented our wedding so well that we'll be reliving this happy day for the rest of our lives. I've already seen some of her beautiful shots of the day and can't wait to receive the rest of the photos!!

Julia is amazing! My groom is very camera shy but he kept saying how comfortable Julia made him feel. I knew her photos would turn out gorgeous (we couldnt be happier!) but the best part of booking Julia for your big day is how sweet and professional she is. I woke up the next morning and already had an email from her! The cost of her services is reasonable and her work is stunning. I would recommend her to anyone who wants gorgeous pictures and a friend who will keep you calm and happy during your big day!

I was so incredibly happy that we chose Julia for our photographer. Not only was she the sweetest person ever, she made sure to get every shot we asked and more (even in the crazy rain). Absolutely wonderful!

I'll start off by saying I hope Julia likes me and my husband as much as we like her, because we are going to be using her for every major event for the rest of our lives. I really had no idea what I was looking for in a photographer, a lot of wedding photos seemed stiff and staged to me. I just wanted someone to capture the day and tell the story of it. I am so happy I stumbled onto Julia's website. From the first time we talked to her, my husband and I just felt comfortable with her. She is laid back, just like us, and upon getting to know her she is a goof, just like us too. Our pictures are unbelievable. My husband and I always joked there was very little documentation of our relationship because we both hate the way we look in pictures. But with Julia's photos....we just looked like...us. She captured our relationship amazingly. Furthermore, she was amazing to work with. We all really clicked, and I think it came across in her pictures. She was so thoughtful. After the wedding she sent both sets of our parents a handwritten note and a few 5X7's to say "thank you." Amazing. As I mentioned before, I hope Julia likes us as much as we love her, because she's going to be stuck with us for a very very long time. I really feel as if I made a new friend throughout this experience, and I could not be happier.

I knew I wanted to choose Julia as my wedding photographer after I saw her amazing pictures from her blog and website. After meeting Julia in person and seeing what a sweet, understanding and caring person she is... I knew I found my wedding photographer! Julia captured every moment and detail of my wedding day with perfection. I couldn't be happier with my selection, and you will be happy too when you choose Julia!!!

We had many wonderful vendors for our wedding, but Julia Jane was far and away the best of the best. From the moment we signed on with Julia Jane, she made us feel like rockstars. Throughout the whole process, Julia's attention to detail and unrivaled thoughtfulness truly amazed us. She did an awesome job with our engagement shoot, so it didn't surprise us at all when she did the most amazing job with our wedding! The pictures look unique and stunning and we have received so many compliments on them already. On the day of the wedding Julia and her co-shooters (Michelle Cucinelli Photography and Adrienne of Chirp) were absolutely wonderful to work with. Many of the bridesmaids and groomsmen kept commenting on how relaxed and great she was. We hope Julia likes us as much as we like her, because she will definitely be hiring her to photograph all major life events going forward!
