ress free all the family portraits were. Neither of us consider ourselves very photogenic, but she made us feel so comfortable and authentic.

great communicator, and had an organized plan to make sure all of the most important memories were captured. We can't recommend Julia enough!

and comfortable. Most importantly, she captured all the love, joy, and beauty from our special day. 10/10 would recommend! (And definitely a great choice for LGBTQ+ couples!)

y where to be, when - and with film! Julia was super chill and everyone loved having her around. She made us feel super comfy during the posed photos - not our forte! - and floated throughout the rest of the party with ease. Julia was a great communicator in the months leading up to the wedding, too. She adjusted graciously when we had to change plans, and she was always quick and friendly in her messages. She sent us 15 amazing starter pics the night of the wedding and the rest within a few weeks. We love every shot and feel so lucky to have found her. Hire Julia! 100% recommend!

oto she took put a smile on my face and made me feel like I was right back in the moment. Her personality is both calm and fun. I appreciated how flexible she was on our big day. We had to make some changes to timeline and she rolled with it without batting an eye. She was also very prompt in all communication and even gave us sneak peak photos the night of the wedding! All of our photos got to us in record time. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Work with Julia, you won’t regret it!

I was a stressed-out bride overthinking everything. She had a relaxing and professional energy that my husband and I both appreciated so much. One of the things I felt most grateful to have her input on were subtle adjustments and suggestions about hand placement and body position that elevated our portraits to an immediate timeless quality. Not only that, she managed to find a beautiful natural backdrop outside of our venue that looked like a completely different location! The framing, composition, and dynamic qualities in each shot of our ceremony and reception are absolutely gorgeous. I don’t know how she’s able to work so efficiently and capture so many different moments and angles, but the treasure trove we received blew us away! We would and will recommend Julia to anyone looking for a professional and personal photographer.

& friends. We are so happy to have these pictures as our forever memories. We would recommend her over and over again!

was such a special part of an already extremely special day. Before the wedding day, Julia was incredibly helpful with providing input/guidance on locations and scheduling to help us flush out our general idea for the day. Day of, Julia was fun, personable, and professional. And she was so incredibly skilled at ensuring we stayed on track of our timing, and helping us navigate organically through various poses and backdrops. The end result in the photos she delivered was more than I could have asked for. (As my dad said: "They look like movie posters!" and were "so romantic"). I never thought I'd want to hang pictures from my wedding all over my home, but I absolutely do now! Julia captured such special moments, beautiful locations, and the genuine emotions we felt throughout the day in an extremely artful, natural way. I'm so grateful we chose her as our photographer and would love to work with her again!

communicator and wonderful photographer. She made our special day even more memorable.

e absolutely gorgeous! It was an honor to work with her. You will not regret booking Julia as your photographer. She is a very gifted and professional artist!

. Our wedding was so beautifully captured, she didn't miss a moment. We were worried about the awkwardness of having our photos taken but she made us feel so comfortable in the moment. We are so happy that we went with Julia to photograph our wedding, and you will be too!

ding day, Julia was an absolute delight, professional, and made us feel so comfortable. She was always on top of email communication, provided tips and guidance when we asked for it, and delivered our final wedding photos within a month, in a thoughtfully organized website that we could share with friends and family, and download. Julia was our first choice for photographers and we were totally over the moon that she joined us for our wedding.

in love with our photos, and they feel so true to the experience of the day - candid and full of joy. Also, Julia was such a calm and reassuring presence throughout the day. For someone who doesn't always love being the center of attention or having their photo taken, this was a big deal. We trusted we could just live in the moment knowing we'd have such lovely photos to look back at for years to come! We love them all so much, it took us hours to narrow down our favorites - that's how good she is! She got every shot we wanted, AND MORE! She was so responsive and helpful in the time leading up to the wedding. Our guests were really impressed with her too. Looking back at the photos, i'm shocked at all the moments she was able to capture - things that felt like they happened in an instant have multiple point of views. She somehow managed to be everywhere all at once. I had found Julia through a friend and followed her on instagram for a few years, knowing she would hopefully one day capture our wedding. It was better than I could have dreamed and we are so grateful to have worked with someone as caring and as talented as Julia! You'll be so happy you chose Julia to capture such an important day.

about coordinating family members of all ages and temperaments for photos. Our families were impressed with how efficiently we made it through A LOT of family photos. Julia was very quick in getting us a good number of sneak peak photos and had the full album ready for us earlier then we had expected. Her photo sharing platform is easy to use. She has a fun and calming energy and integrated herself seamlessly into the wedding. We love our photos and can't wait to work with her more in the future!

nmatched, and it completely shows in our photos. Julia captured the best day of our lives so perfectly and I cannot say enough incredible things about working with her. Do not look any further for your photography needs—I promise you, she's it.

. Julia not only takes perfect photos, but also helped with keeping everything orderly and fun. Her quirks and lovely personality were such a pleasant addition to our day. (And she came all the way out to the East Coast for us!) Our friends recommended her to us and we can't wait to recommend her to the next lucky couple. Book her.

ntion the photos came out looking beautiful! Thank you Julia!

We are absolutely obsessed with her photos and can't stop admiring the high quality and authenticity she was able to capture. We would highly recommend her to anyone for any event! We loved getting to work with her and we will cherish our wedding photos forever!

pared with clear expectations and guidelines. On the day, she was punctual, professional, and pleasant in every interaction, and showed an astonishing ability to be completely invisible while still capturing every imaginable shot and angle we could have wanted throughout the ceremony and beyond. When photographing the Bridal Party, families, and the bride and groom, she was thorough while remaining efficient and conscientious of time, and we got through every set of photos in well under the time we had budgeted, giving us even more breathing room and making it a comfortable and low-stress part of the wedding day. Julia was able to emphasize the joy of moment and made everyone feel comfortable and confident without deemphasizing the bodies of the people she was working with. Following the wedding, Julia provided us with our finished photos weeks earlier than we were expecting, and they were even more beautiful than we had expected! We would highly recommend her work to anyone, and we are extremely grateful that we had her as part of our wedding day.

e entire way. Not only that, but she got the most incredible shots and always sent sneak peeks of what we had to look forward to!

captured the most amazing memories. As we were going through our photos from the wedding day my husband and I kept saying that we didn’t even realize she was there taking the pictures but they were all such intimate photos that captured the emotion from the day. She gave good prompts and guidance for positioning of the formal portraits while still allowing us to be ourselves and not look posed. She was prompt with the delivery of engagement photos and wedding photos – she even gave us a sneak peak the night of the wedding! Julia, thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job. Our photos are truly treasured. Everyone else, Hire Julia!!!

photographer. When we first met over Zoom, we fell in love with her desire to photograph the day as it happens, her eye for capturing candid, real moments, and her warm and welcoming personality. She was so graciously amenable to us when we had to postpone our wedding and was gratefully available on our new day! She kept us at ease at our engagement photo shoot despite us being nervous and awkward in photos, and they turned out beautifully. I loved how she had my husband and I get smiling or laughing naturally with each other. It made the photos that much more real! On our wedding day, Julia was so kind, calm, encouraging, and patient! She effortlessly worked through our photo lists and accommodated many kiddos and large groups for what turned out to be excellent photos. The more I look at them, the more I love them. She captured such special moments throughout the day for us that we will cherish for a lifetime. I cannot recommend Julia more!

e initial details and then changed everything due to Covid. Because of our reschedule Julia was kind enough to offer an engagement shoot near our initial venue on Capitol Hill so we could capture some of the pictures we thought we would take on our wedding day. It made us feel like nothing was missed, even though we had to change our plans. On the day of the wedding Julia made sure we had time and space to capture all of the important moments, and the small ones that may have other wise been forgotten in the blur of the day. I highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a talented photographer and a caring person to have on your team as you plan your big event.

cess! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, captured candid moments perfectly, and retained the beauty and vibrancy of color we wanted to showcase on our wedding day. 10/10 would hire Julia again for all future life events we want to capture!

illy they may be. She is also extremely easy to work with and she definitely does not add to the stress of an already hectic day. We would highly recommend her!

oments. After our venue, she was the first vendor we booked. We knew that we wanted to prioritize our photographer since you’ll look at your wedding photos for the rest of your life! Due to COVID-19, we had to re-plan and then re-re-plan our wedding. Julia was always responsive, supportive, and positive. We are in the Seattle area, where she has tons of experience and knows great places to shoot. Even our other vendors rave about Julia – which is when you really know you’ve picked a good one! While rescheduling, other vendors made us feel like a checkbook, but Julia was ALWAYS empathetic and gave us as much flexibility as she could. In the end, we would have planned our microwedding around her availability to ensure that she could be our photographer. She shared a sneak peek of our photos the night of the wedding and we were able to get announcements printed from those incredible shots, and she shared our final virtual gallery within 3 weeks! We have gotten countless comments from our friends and family about how the photos are PERFECT – they feel like us, they are beautiful, and they capture our day. Choose Julia!

ure our big day and I could not recommend Julia enough! Through all of the uncertainty of COVID-19, we always knew Julia would calm our nerves. We changed our plans multiple times and she adapted to each and every new idea and curveball that came our way. Once the big day arrived, it was just a joy to have Julia capture our day. Every moment felt organic and relaxed. Never once did we feel posed or awkward for any picture we took. And the PHOTOS!!! When we got our sneak peek, I was blown away by how stunning each photo was. Once we got our gallery, it was so hard to pick favorites because each photo was incredible. We will cherish these photos forever and we have Julia to thank!

already hard and stressful enough, but Julia was there to help every step of the way. She was able to change her schedule with little notice and offered so much advise about all things wedding, not just photography. She is so understanding, so caring, and so flexible... Just an absolute delight to have on your team for the big day! Trust me, you will not be sorry if you hire Julia and your money will be well spent!

her at ease. She's a calming, supportive presence to have around - and because we had to change our wedding location 3 times (including the morning of, due to wildfire smoke), I really REALLY appreciated her flexibility! I am a photographer myself so I am picky about photos, but I would highly recommend Julia to anyone - the memories she beautifully captured for us on our big day are absolutely priceless and I can never thank her enough.

t met her. We were originally supposed to get married March 2020, and had to shift gears and replan everything multiple times in light of coronavirus. She was patient and accommodating and so helpful every step of the way, and it meant so much to have her on our team! Not only is she the most warm and lovely person to work with, but she is crazy talented. She absolutely blew us away with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos! Everyone who has seen our photos has commented on how stunning they are and wanted to know more about the talent behind them. Julia is truly one of a kind and we wholeheartedly recommend her to everyone looking for a photographer!

due to rain, but it ended up working out perfectly as we had a beautiful, sunny fall morning. Due to COVID-19, we had to reschedule the full wedding ceremony and reception and had a 'minimony' that she beautifully captured. Her dedication and passion truly shine through, and I'm excited to work with her again next year!

her enough! We absolutely loved working with her. Not only is she incredibly taletned, she is responsive, professional, friendly, warm and someone who puts you immediately at ease. For two people who are relatively uncomfortable in front of a camera, she made us feel like superstars and the pictures she took of our private family ceremony are totally exceeded anything we could have ever hoped for. The moments she captured fill me with emotion and joy every time I look at them. Forever grateful for the chance to work with Julia <3

for your big day is one of a kind. She really takes the time to make sure that she captures all of the special moments you want to cherish and takes so much of the stress out of the photography process. My husband and I ended up having a small ceremony 6 months before our planned event as we realized a year engagement just was too long to wait. So I messed Julia and she put in the extra time and care to photograph each of our special days. I don’t typically enjoy being in front of the camera and my husband and I are honestly a little awkward. But Julia’s photos show the love, joy and brilliance of our wedding day(s) while capturing all the personal, little details. I LOVE my photos and I am so glad I’ll be able to look back on these beautifully captured memories for the rest of our lives.

ful photos of our big day. I swore there must have been 3 of her, because she was everywhere and somehow got every shot without being intrusive at all. Plus she is just so sweet and open and easy to get along with. You will not regret hiring her!

ave a creative eye (we had an indoor wedding with NO natural light, and she worked it!), but she is fun to work with! My husband and I don't get in front cameras that often, but Julia guided us through and helped make us feel comfortable! Julia also has extensive knowledge about great photo locations in Seattle - we really appreciated her insight into where we could get the best photos. I am so glad we had Julia to capture this special moment in our lives!

e sure our weekend was captured perfectly.. Julia has the ability to make her clients super comfortable, she was flexible and open to any shots or poses we wanted to play with. We had a pretty large wedding party with big personalities and short attention spans and she was so patient and flexible with us throughout the process. From the classic shots (first looks, vows, the kiss) to the small sweet moments (the giggles, the dance moves, the sneaking bites of food) - we loved reliving our wedding weekend through her photos.

I met her over facetime she put us at ease. Like many couples, we had never had professional photos taken together and absolutely dreaded the thought of overly staged wedding photos. We were also nervous about how a photographer would capture our minimalist backyard wedding. But Julia's excitement and enthusiasm for our day was contagious and the stress melted away immediately. She was incredibly laid back and supportive of whatever we wanted to do. At the same time, she offered sage advice to ensure we wouldn't miss out on important moments of the day. While she was photographing us it felt more like hanging out with a good friend than anything else. She so perfectly captured the joy and emotion of our wedding day. The candid shots bring us to tears. Her vibrant colors and eye for detail highlighted the whimsical transformation of our backyard in a way we never thought possible. Best of all, our friends and family absolutely adored her (how could you not!?). I can't imagine loving our engagement and wedding photos more. I can't recommend working with Julia enough!

le was natural yet elegant. On the day of, Julia was amazing. We had some unexpected events happen the day of the wedding and she handled it like a pro and was super patience. She happily took another round of pictures for us and I could not have been happier. She made us both feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera as it can be awkward. If you are looking for the best, look no further.

g. We were able to game plan a backup location for our wedding photos--which she booked on the spot during our meeting--to ensure that we wouldn't be scrambling on our wedding day. On the day, she was prompt, professional, and self-sufficient in terms of transportation between our getting ready spot and where we were taking wedding photos. She brought in an equally phenomenal second photographer (Shout outs to Meg Prouse!). Their photography powers combined to create an album of absolutely stunning shots from our wedding day. We're so thankful to have worked with Julia and know when the time comes for us to get a photographer for something else, she'll be our first choice.

g together a package that worked with our needs and our budget, to finding the best places to take gorgeous photos on a tight wedding day timeline. Not only that, but she is just a fun, awesome person who made us feel so comfortable straight off the bat. We planned our wedding in Seattle while living in Baltimore, and Julia played a big role in making our day go smoothly despite the difficulties in planning. At the end of the day, we had a great time, and the pictures are so beautiful. We will treasure them for years to come!

ughout the whole planning process. Very laid back, and never pushy. On the wedding day she helped direct us to the best lighting, and captured every moment. Since my husband and I don't have a lot of experience getting our photos taken, we were a little nervous, but Julia and her second shooter Alex made us feel comfortable. We had a blast with the whole process, and the photos are beautiful! One of my favorite parts of the night was when Julia gave us a few printed Polaroids she had taken earlier. It was so nice to take a special moment with my new husband and reflect on what a great day were were having!

through her portfolio, I was taken with how well she captures couples' personalities - she gets the beautiful, dramatic shots, but also captures the little moments in between. My now-husband and I are incredibly awkward in front of the camera, but she is so good at putting you at ease and finding positions where you can just...be together, and she'll capture those moments for you. If you love the idea of candid shots, but tend to make weird faces when you try to get them (like me), Julia will magically make you photogenic. She's also quick - we had our photos within a month of our day! Take a look at her portfolio, and if that's the style you're looking for, you can rely on her to make it happen for your day. HIGHLY recommend.

ulia was the first and only photographer we met with because...when you know, you know! :) From the moment we met Julia, we knew she was the photographer for us! Not only is she super cool, laid back and enthusiastic about what she does, but she has an incredible eye for capturing those perfect moments. From our pug and brewery-centered engagement shoot to the most beautiful wedding day we could ever ask for, Julia was an absolutely joy to work with and we couldn't not be happier with our engagement photos and wedding sneak peaks! We cannot recommend Julia highly enough !!

ps we hoped for, and even more so, captured the moments that made the day so special. She scoped out great locations for all of the pictures, and really kept our personalities in mind throughout the day. We couldn't be happier with the end product. We would definitely recommend working with Julia!
