I can’t recommend Julia enough. You know she is something special when guests at your wedding rave about how awesome your photographer is. She really is! You get what you pay for. Our photos are everything I could have dreamed of and more.

Julia is so professional, bubbly and down for everything! She has fantastic ideas to help create exactly the day or moment you envisioned! She captured the MOST INCREDIBLE photos that we both timeless and effortless. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and allows you to be in the moment with your loved ones! Our pictures will forever be cherished! Everyone that saw them said they could be in wedding magazines! She has an eye for things that will look amazing! I HIGHLY recommend her for any special occasion where you want memorable, professional, FANTASTIC photos!

My husband and I had a tiny, last minute wedding on November 30, 2020 mid pandemic with just our parents and us. Julia was INCREDIBLE! She created the perfect package for us, she was responsive and personable, and leading up to the day we could contact her any time with any questions. The contract and payment was all straight forward and easy. On the actual wedding day, there was a storm for our outdoor balcony wedding but Julia did not miss a beat! She offered us options for where and how we wanted to take photos, she had umbrellas and a great sense of humour. We really enjoyed having Julia around! After the wedding we were blown away by how beautiful the photos were. We cannot recommend Julia enough, she was the perfect photographer!

We first met with Julia in-person when we shared what mattered to us for our wedding day, and she shared with us her approach and style. While neither of us are well-versed in event photography styles or techniques, the earnestness Julia has for her craft – providing real tangible memories for her clients – was clear as day. Her timeless style and approach to capturing the day as truly as possible, without being invasive or getting in the way of the meaning of the day, spoke to us, and her personality sealed the deal: she was professional and prepared, while simultaneously warm and welcoming. We planned our wedding from three timezones away, and didn’t see Julia in-person again until our rehearsal. While planning from so far could be stressful, it was a breeze with Julia. All of my questions – as big as asking her to inform the timeline of the overall day to small details on logistics – were answered promptly and clearly, and I never had a doubt in my mind that if something was to come up leading up to the wedding or the day of, she would have it handled. The value of the peace of mind that came with working someone as inherently organized, proactive and communicative as Julia cannot be overstated! For our weekend itself, we had Julia for both our rehearsal and wedding. Due to some unforeseen complications, we had to roll with the punches more than we could have imagined. Mixed emotions and distractions kept us from being able to make sure Julia was settled and telling her certain shots we wanted or folks who were important to us. But Julia, the absolutely wonderful second shooter she brought (Erin!), and her patient and wonderful pinch hitter of a husband Cole, had everything handled and then some. Through the various events and groups of folks cycling through, Julia was present, helpful, and clear without ever interjecting or being forceful, and compassionate and sensitive without intruding. The kindness and warmth from Julia (& her team!) led them to be part of our wedding day, not just a vendor – to us, they were extensions of the day, and we’re so grateful to have had them with us through the weekend. Lastly, Julia’s work speaks for itself – it is beautiful, timeless, and sincerely lets the subject shine – and she is more than prompt: Julia got some of our sneak peaks to us by the next day, before we even had a chance to think about them! While we loved the photos in Julia’s portfolio and knew her work would be remarkable, we were still blown away by what she captured, how she captured us, our wedding, and our loved ones, and are so grateful to have her work to forever cherish as memories of our wedding.

Julia went above and beyond to make our “COVID Wedding” seem as real as it could have. She helped us pick the location and made our family feel so comfortable. She is professional and a great calming energy to have around on the special day. Julia even found a way to get my dad to smile in pictures! That never happens! She exceeded every expectation we had for our alternate wedding plans. I recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer! Hands down amazing!

FANTASTIC! We cannot say enough about Julia!! Julia truly encompasses all of the things that you could ever want and need in a photographer. She is highly skilled; her work is magnificent (classic, timeless and just feels naturally beautiful); she is kind, she is caring and respectful to all; she over delivers in everything that she does; just overall an absolute joy to work with. From the very beginning of the whole process she makes you feel at ease. During our engagement shoot we knew we had made the best decision ever. Photographs are arguably one of the most important things on your wedding day, and Julia manages to capture the most magical moments. She has a way of making a crazy, chaotic wedding day feel calm. She really “disappears” and makes you feel like it is just you and your husband/wife when she is photographing. And then, maybe the best part of all - she delivers absolutely stunning photos exactly when she says she will (if not sooner). All in all, Julia is nothing short of exceptional!

Julia was everything we could’ve asked for in a wedding photographer! She was calm, kind, easy-going, always had a smile on her face and yet still able to keep everyone organized and get the shots we wanted. She makes sure you get as much time as possible with your family, friends and guests which meant a lot to us and never makes you feel awkward or posed. Julia is THE BEST!! I knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer the moment I came across her website. Her photos are beautiful, timeless and truly amazing. Julia is so kindhearted and personable. She made my husband and I feel very relaxed throughout our wedding day. She even offered to walk our dog during the reception! BOOK HER!! Julia is setting a standard when it comes to wedding photography. I am not entirely sure how to encapsulate just how wonderful she is in one review. She is an intrinsically wonderful and kind person and it radiates through the beauty of her work. Upbeat, bubbly, creative, communicative, and extremely organized which, of course, makes the wedding planning process that much easier for you. Packages were uncomplicated and straight-forward and mine included an engagement session with my now-husband in the beautiful mountains. She listened to my tastes, my husband and I's personalities, my vision and captured my wedding better than I could have possibly imagined. She makes the process so that it is easy, fun, and everyone feels important. Not only did I love my bridal, family, and couple portraits - Julia was able to snapshot wonderful moments of our guests throughout the entire day and evening; moments that we were not able to see because we were too busy that we can share in now too. Every time I look at my photos I am reminded what a glassy dream it was. I give Julia my highest recommendation for any wedding. She is more than worth it.

I really can not imagine a better wedding photographer. Firstly, the photos are absolutely stunning. Full of joy, light, and emotion. She was able to capture beautiful organic moments as well as the perfectly posed photo for your mother. I will always treasure these photos - they are little windows that help me remember great wedding moments. Secondly, Julia smiles during the the whole photo shoot. She obviously loves what she does and wants you have a great day. She makes the photos fun! Thirdly, she is perfectly professional. She is organized and communicates well. She helps you organize your timeline for wedding so everyone is very clear about what needs to happen and when. She is best!!! I was so grateful to have her that day.

We planned a destination wedding in Lake Placid from Baltimore, so we were really nervous and extra choosy when picking our vendors. Julia was 100% the perfect pick as our photographer. She is the absolute sweetest and truly goes the extra mile to make you feel special on you wedding day, and leading up to it! We received hand-written notes from Julia throughout the year leading up to our wedding. She was super communicative and answered all questions up front. My husband and I are both very shy, but Julia made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. It was actually enjoyable and fun to have all of our pictures taken! She kept up with our timeline on the day of, and though we haven't received our full gallery yet, Julia sent along a sneak peek of AMAZING photographs! What really warmed my heart was that I had Julia bring a watch to my groom as a gift. When he opened it, it was a bit too big and he thought he wouldn't be able to wear it for the ceremony. Julia's fiance, who joined to help her out the day of, took the watch and ran it to a jeweler nearby to have links taken out so he could wear it for our ceremony - that is truly, truly above and beyond! Julia's positivity and optimism shines right through to her photographs. So if you're looking to work with someone friendly, organized, and genuine, please, please work with Julia!

Julia was without a doubt the perfect photographer for our wedding day! She is talented, creative, thoughtful, fun, charming, and was so incredibly helpful throughout our planning process. Not only is the quality of our wedding gallery downright exquisite (and we've gotten numerous gushing compliments from friends, family, and others--it's not just our own biased opinions talking here!), but she also made the photography time so easy and fun--even for people like my husband and me who often feel awkward in front of a camera. Julia also helped us craft a comfortable timeline for our wedding day and provided us with multiple beautiful locations (both outdoor and indoor options) to choose from for our first look and wedding party portraits. Our wedding was in late April--a bit of an unpredictable, in-between season in the Adirondacks for sure--and we had some concerns about the weather, but Julia was quick to be reassuring, and I trusted that we didn't have to worry about getting gorgeous wedding pictures regardless of any surprises the weather might bring. Julia was the first vendor we booked for our big day, and I felt confident and satisfied with our choice from day 1. Julia just did the photography for our daughter's two day wedding event and all we can say is wow! Julia is amazing. She has a fantastic personality and my daughter and her husband just loved her. I contacted Julia while living in Illinois and planning a wedding in the Adirondacks with my family (who live in Canada). Needless to say, it was a stressful situation and I was nervous about finding someone (via long distance) to photograph our special day. I didn’t get to meet Julia face to face until the day of the wedding but every phone call, email and handwritten note (!) before then filled me with confidence, excitement and put me at ease. I knew that I had found the perfect photographer, and boy, was I RIGHT! Julia is, simply put, a godsend. Julia is amazing. In fact, amazing doesn't even touch the surface of describing her. She's not only a fantastic photographer, but her energy is so wonderful to be around. Pierre-luc and I were a little nervous and shy about our session, having never been professionally photographed before. Julia's friendly energy and uplifting reassurance instantly had us feeling comfortable and confident. Not to mention that our photos were absolutely gorgeous with a timelessly pretty lighting and composition. Julia's photography is creative yet classic and professional with a superb attention to detail. We never thought we could look this good! Can't recommend her enough.

My husband and I got married this past August. We were honestly a bit devastated when I realized that Julia couldn’t be our photographer. We really love her style and her talent is so obvious. After a great deal of deliberation, we were able to find another photographer who we thought was also excellent. However, as weddings go, the day was crazy, and we did not take many of the photos we had hoped for, so we called Julia back up for a post-wedding shoot! I really cannot say enough positive things about Julia! She is just so much fun to work with! She makes you feel beautiful, and that shows in every shot. She was totally happy for our two dogs to tag along and to tromp around in the woods. She takes amazing photos that really capture each couple, who they are and the love they share. She is amazing!

Julia took photographs that were beautiful and timeless of our wedding. We really loved the candid and scenic shots. She caught everyone's personalities and the beauty of the great camp in the Adirondacks where we were married as well as the wedding itself. More importantly, she was a delight to work with! We booked Julia for our Adirondack wedding and she honestly blew us away. From the start, she was organized and responsive to all our questions. On the day of, Julia and her assistant Kevin arrived and got to work without any instruction from me. We decided to add on extra time and I am so glad we did - we have such an incredible variety of couple portraits at different locations. Julia is so encouraging and positive, she makes you feel like a super model - but she also gave everyone gentle instructions of where to put their hands or what stance to be in so that everyone looked perfect. My entire family raved about how wonderful, sweet, and patient she was, and her assistant Kevin was the perfect addition as he was non-intrusive and got some gorgeous shots at different angles. The final edited photographs are stunning - she captured every moment and detail perfectly. Her editing style is to enhance the natural look, so nothing is overly saturated or fake looking. Julia’s pricing is more than reasonable, and I would say she was overall the best of all our wedding vendors because from start to finish she was professional, enthusiastic, genuine, thoughtful, artistic, and the final photos surpassed our expectations. I would highly encourage you to schedule a phone call with Julia to talk through your wedding details and then book her asap!

Julia is truly amazing! Choosing the perfect photographer for our wedding was my top priority when we started the planning process. I was immediately impressed by her ability to capture meaningful moments and the uniqueness of each couples photographs while looking through her online gallery. Her photos seem to tell a story. When I first met Julia over a year ago to discuss details I was certain I had chosen the right photographer. Throughout the whole process she was reliable, helpful, and easy to communicate with, even offering tips and advice to avoid wedding day glitches from previous experiences. This combined with her kindness, enthusiasm, and sweet disposition make her a dream come true photographer. On the day of the wedding Julia continued to be incredible. She was flexible when our timeline changed and even stayed late to capture more memories during our reception. She seemed to be everywhere and yet not there at all throughout the whole day. I think I looked at our sneak peak photos at least once every day for the first month after our wedding, transporting back to the magic of the day. Julia and her staff were so great to work with. They took beautiful photos utilizing amazing lighting and scenery at my June 25, 2017 wedding. The photo session my fiancé and I had with Julia was absolutely phenomenal!! She was creative, fun, and energetic! We had the chance to not only shoot engagement photos but pregnancy photos as well. And I am absolutely in love with every single photo. We had so much fun and laughed through the entire session and you can see it throughout our gallery.
