d no voice and wasn't feeling very well! All of the flavors we tried were absolutely delicious, but the ones we chose for our cake were beyond awesome, and many of our guests said so. Julie listened to exactly what we wanted and created a beautiful cake that tasted just as good as it looked! We could not be happier, and only wish we still had some left :)
Our cake not only looked beautiful but was the most delicious cake ever!! Highly recommend the fresh strawberries!

eate our dream cake! Thank you, Julie!
We had Julie create not only a gorgeous 3-tier wedding cake, but also, an expansive dessert bar and it was AMAZING! Our cake was marble with chocolate ganache for the bottom layer...
, fresh strawberries and cream (my favorite!) for the second with a carrot cake top layer. One of my friends contacted me after the wedding to say it was the “best cake she’s ever had”. I love sweets, so we also asked Julie to make mini pastries for a dessert bar, we had DELICIOUS mini fruit tarts, cheesecakes, lemon tarts, chocolate mousse and more! I can’t say enough about how amazing the cake and desserts were and her prices are reasonable. Schedule a tasting, you will be thrilled you did and your guests will thank you for the delicious sweets!!
Oh my goodness - everyone was talking about how delicious this cake was! Being an out of town bride, Julie was able to work with us to set up a meeting time outside of her usual sc...
hedule to do the tasting and give her design ideas for what I wanted. She also worked with our florists to get accents on the cake to match what was in the bouquets/on the tables. The cake turned out so beautifully, exactly what I had wanted. Like I said, everyone said the cake was SO delicious. We have the top layer frozen and I am so excited to relive/celebrate that perfect day in a year!
Julie was amazing! She met with my husband and was a total pro--we left with our design picked out, down to the last detail! She left us with amazing samples and were thrilled with...
her product. The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful--Julie used loose blooms provided by our florist to decorate it at the venue, and I could not have been happier. Delicious, beautiful cakes ... what more could you ask for?!
Julie is an excellent baker and our cake was exactly what we asked for - a smaller two tiered naked cake, chocolate with raspberry preserves, vanilla buttercream, and berries on th...
e side. We were very pleased with the final product, but a little frustrated throughout the whole process. Julie is very nice and definitely is a hard worker, but she was not the most responsive to our emails, which was a little frustrating at times. There were also a few details that she accidentally mixed up - we had agreed on having someone pick up the cake, but were initially charged the extra fee for having the cake delivered. When Julie realized her mistake, she brought it to my attention right away and it all worked out. I still recommend her services, just wanted to mention the few frustrations we had.
Julie makes the best cakes! She was great to work with and took our ideas and made them into exactly what we dreamed our cake would be.

one. We had one in person meeting and even though we set it up pretty last minute, she had samples ready for me to taste and lots of cake photos. At the end, we got a beautiful cake that looked exactly like I had hoped, and all of our guests thought it was delicious!
Julie was very helpful and gave advice on what cake would work best for our size. The cake was fairly priced and beautiful. I would recommend Julie to anyone on the Eastern Shore.
We had a small wedding so just a 10" white cake - must have been 3-4 layers. It was high and topped with fondant seashells - perfect for the sailboat setting. There were some very ...
good cooks in the party and all agreed that this was the best tasting (&looking) cake ever.
Julie made the cake of our dreams. Even though she has photos of hundreds of beautiful cakes, we had a design in mind and she brought it to life. Not only did she do a fantastic ...
job creating a beautiful cake, but the taste was great, too. Julie has a true talent as both an artist and baker.

mportance for food (wedding cake included!)and Julie's cakes are delish! With lots of choices of cake flavors and fillings you're sure to find a combo, or several, that are perfect for you. Our favorites were almond cake with raspberry filling and vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and vanilla buttercream filling. She created 4 different mini cakes for our tasting based on our pre-selected preferences of cake and filling flavors, mmmm. After devouring the rest of the mini cakes that we got to take home with us I was sold! I gave her my design idea for our cake and she nailed it. Our venue made sure to save the top layer for us to have on our first anniversary, but to be sure Julie had made a second (unknown to us!) to make sure we had one and it didn't accidentally get eaten. I definitely recommend Julie Bakes!

the rain, heat, and humidity of our outdoor reception. She worked with the florist to get flowers to accent the cake. We had tons of compliments. I only wish I had eaten more of it that night!

e cake was absolutely beautiful to look at, and the taste was exquisite! Multiple guests told me it was the best wedding cake they'd tasted, and they asked for 2nd and 3rd servings. It was also helpful that Julie has a gorgeous cake stand available for rent. I sincerely recommend Julie Bakes, especially if you are seeking a one-of-a-kind cake at an affordable price.
