Julie is a gem and her photography is beautiful. She was professional, friendly, caring, so genuine, and captured moments during our wedding that I'll cherish forever. It was so important to me and my husband that we had pictures that felt like us—those moments when we're not thinking, posing, or trying. And Julie got it. She got some the classic shots and so many other moments of the two of us laughing, being goofy, and soaking in our wedding day. She also offered us a complimentary engagement session when we booked her as our wedding photographer, but we'd already had engagement photos taken, so she printed a coffee table album of some of our wedding photos instead. All in all, Julie was incredible to work with and she edited our photos in the style we were hoping for in such a timely manner.

Julie captured our wedding & engagement in the most beautiful way! She is so calming and easy to be around, and made us feel so comfortable. She made it feel like she was there to celebrate along side us as a friend. She was also super accommodating throughout the whole process for us from a rescheduled wedding date due to covid, to staying all day through the final send off to capture every moment. We could not be more happy with how well she captured the joy of our wedding day. We loved getting to work with Julie, and love the final product!

On your wedding day, you want a photographer that is confident, organized, and committed to capturing your most special, timeless moments in the way YOU want. Julie is not only all of the above, but she is GENUINE and truly cares about her clients. I went through a roller-coaster of emotions on my big day and Julie stood right by my side supporting me along the way (SORRY, JULIE!! <3). She also gave me her honest opinion when I asked her what necklace to wear!! haha. She takes the time to learn about your desired look of the pictures, your family members, and any other details you may need. She had an assistant, Jaclyn with her that day who also beamed genuine energy. The two of them felt like long time friends who were happy for us and cared. We got the pictures back and they are just, stunningly gorgeous and more than I could ever have wished for. We will cherish our photos for our entire lives and could not be more grateful for Julie Hay to be there to capture them in the best light.
