Working with Julie was so freaking fun! Her personality and good vibes are infectious! She is so receptive to feedback and was very open to listening to my husband's and I opinions on florals. She put together everything FLAWLESSLY. I was absolutely obsessed with every floral arrangement she made including the center pieces, the ceremony pieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, you name it! You will not regret working with Julie!!

Julie was a joy to work with. We had some quirky ideas for the floral decor (incorporating antique tools, license plates, pipe decor - and 1000 paper cranes!). We weren't sure whether or how this could be pulled off - but Julie was! And boy - did she deliver. Point this artist in the direction of your vision and then turn her loose! She even incorporated little nails and screws into the guys boutonnières. It may be that no guests noticed - but we knew they were there and got a kick out of them. Julie worked joyfully, embraced the vision, and went above and beyond.

I wanted creative, colorful flowers for our wedding and Julie delivered! We let her have a lot of creative freedom and the flowers turned out amazing! EVERYONE commented about how beautiful the flowers were and enjoyed the non-floral elements. Julie and her team took time to understand our vision and delivered! They were easy to work and communicate with!

I recently had the chance to work with Julie James over the last year for my 5/20/2023 wedding and can not scream loud enough, AMAZING!!! Here and her team took a vision in my head and brought it to life ten fold. The whole staff goes above and beyond and they are a joy to work with. Julie James was fabulous to work with for our wedding! She completely understood our vision, maybe even more so than us! She’s so enthusiastic and everything came out spectacularly. She’s a wizard with interesting textures - from the ceremony garland down the boutonnieres, the floral composition was eye-catching and unique. We wanted some unusual flowers and she delivered on everything! Short-haired soon-to-be-weds: I didn’t think I’d be able to wear anything in my hair because it’s so short, but Julie CAME THROUGH with the most STUNNING, compact, gorgeous flower clip I’ve ever seen and I was thrilled to get to wear it all night! Julie truly went above and beyond for everything - we highly recommend her and are so, so glad we got to have her talents for our wedding!!!

An absolute dream team to work with. Rachel and Julie both were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. Our bouquets were stunningly beautiful. I've never loved a bouquet so much. Julie James Design is hands down the best florist you could go to. Even with a pandemic going on she creates works of art! She goes above and beyond for her clients and is willing to help with whatever is necessary. I had a vision of Spanish moss everywhere at my wedding and she made that happen! I felt like I was in New Orleans, and that was exactly my hope. She is quick at responding, and so knowledgeable about her line of work. She knew what I was going for for our wedding before I even did. Her floral designs are STUNNING, and she is such a wonderfully high energy person to be around and work with! Julie is absolutely INCREDIBLE, and an absolute joy to work with. She met my fiancé and I in person to discuss my preferences, likes, and dislikes. She is easy to talk to, funny, and personable. She is responsive to messages, and worked with me step-by-step as my wedding plans changed secondary to COVID. She gave me everything I described to a “T” - bouquets, centerpieces, large pieces, and a full floral arch. The flowers were stunning, and she had my venue set up a few hours before the wedding. Julie James is an absolute floral goddess. She is beyond talented---I had so many people DM me after I posted pictures of my wedding asking who did my flowers and how can they book for their wedding. She's also so KIND, COMPASSIONATE and so funny (follow her on insta for a good laugh)! I actually ended up eloping (thanks COVID) and called up Julie on a Friday, asking if she could do anything for me on Monday (3 days notice) and she created the most beautiful floral columns and the bouquet of my dreams. She had a way to put me at ease even though I was completely freaking about eloping and that is something money cannot buy. Her flowers absolutely made my wedding and made my photos stunning. Book with Julie and you will not regret it!!

WOW! I cannot say enough good things about Julie James. She creates the most magical floral arrangements I’ve ever seen in my life. She’s thoughtful, friendly, hilarious and so easy to work with. My wedding had to be postponed from May 22, 2020 to July 24, 2020. Which forced us to change up the floral arrangements two separate times before I was crushed with the news that I needed to reduce my headcount to 50. We got married at The Pennsylvanian and since Allegheny County only allowed gatherings of 50 outside, that meant everything would have to move out into the rotunda. Once again, forcing us to switch up everything we had planned. Julie was so calm throughout the whole process. As a bride going through COVID, you almost have this mentality of “I’ll believe it when I see it” when it comes to actually reaching your wedding day. When I received my bouquet at the hotel, I cried. I was so stressed and sad about everything I had gone through with our wedding and it’s really hard to let your guard down. In that moment, suddenly, I felt excited, happy, emotional, and most importantly like a bride. I finally realized in that moment I was getting married and IT WAS HAPPENING and it was about to be MAGICAL. Then as soon as I got to the venue, I cried again. I walked into nothing short of a scene plucked out of a fairy tale. I cried so much that day because of the work Julie and her team put in, that literally my fake eyelashes needed to be reapplied. It was STUNNING. I was in shock at the level of detail and expertise. She went above and beyond to make my vision come true. I felt like a princess. I couldn’t stay focused because I kept starring at the arrangements, that’s how gorgeous everything turned out. Her bio doesn’t say this, but she’s a creative GENIUS. If you want a florist who is going to go above and beyond for you, no matter what... hire Julie James. She turned my COVID wedding into the wedding of my dreams and I’ll never be able to thank her enough!

Julie is an ANGEL! She has such a talent for listening to a bride's vision and bringing it to life in a way that is even more beautiful than anticipated. Leading up to my wedding, I was so excited to see the flowers because she truly is a genius. When I finally did see the flowers, tears came to my eyes. They were more beautiful than I could have expected. Wedding guests stopped me constantly to compliment our beautiful florals and wanted to know who designed them. Julie is phenomenal. Julie did the flowers for my family wedding in October and the bouquets were absolutely stunning! She thought of everything and made it so easy for us to just pick them up. Julie's florals MADE our wedding - visually. She completely saw through my vision and created the most BEAUTIFUL flower arrangements I have ever seen. I cannot say enough good things about Julie! From planning to set-up the day of, she was complete aces. I was obsessed with my bouquet and flower crown. My jaw is still on the ground from our wedding this past Saturday. Julie exceeded every expectation. Her attention to detail is second to none. When searching for a florist, we wanted someone who could pull off the heavyweight stuff, in our instance, a full floral treatment for our ceremony gazebo that needed to be moved to a second location after our ceremony. Enter Julie who took it in stride and not only did she create an incredible arrangement but she did it with joy and ease. She is truly the salt of the earth and I wish we were doing it all again as it feels as though we have made a friend in her this past year and I already miss her! I knew Julie through our church and she was at the top of my list for a wedding florist. After talking with her and meeting up, I was excited by the ideas she had. She listened to my suggestions and also gave me some great tips about other design elements that I was wavering on throughout the planning process. We adjusted the invoice several times, and I appreciated all she was willing to adjust and provide for the price. My bouquet was perfectly sized for my petite frame while also being textural and dynamic. I loved the flowers we selected and the guys’ boutonnières were unique as well. The only bummer was a few flowers (anemones and dahlias) didn’t hold up more than an hour since we were outside in 95 degree heat for an hour for our first look and photos. My bouquet looked a little wilted and my husband’s boutonnière had turned brown by the end of the ceremony, but I’m sure nobody noticed. She worked at my venue for 3+ hours to construct my floral columns and other hanging pieces throughout the venue. She definitely helped bring my vision to life, and I am hoping my husband will contact her for special events in the future. ;) Thanks again, Julie!!

Wow, where do I start?? Julie James did an incredible job with the floral decor and bouquets at our wedding. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that it was perfect! We are still getting compliments a month later about how incredible everything was! She was great to work with, and made the process really easy! Stunning Bouquets Julie makes the most gorgeous bouquets I have ever seen. She is very easy to work with and she understood what look I was going for after just a few minutes. Julie was so great to work with! She met with me multiple times, and TOTALLY made the vision I had come to life! We didn't have a huge budget for flowers, but she made it work anyway. We decided to stick with one single football mum for the bridesmaids, and Julie spruced it up with a few other greens... They turned out GORGEOUS! I'm so happy looking back at my photos. :) Julie is organized, easy going, and definitely has an eye for her craft.

Julie did the florals for our July 1st 2017 wedding. She was knowledgeable about flowers and able to apply the little input we gave her to make BEAUTIFUL bouquets, centerpieces, etc. for our day, seeming to know exactly what I was wanting without me having the flower knowledge to verbalize it. She was extremely flexible as our guest count & ceremony location drastically changed very close to the wedding day, causing us to need to adjust my order. She arrived promptly to the venue to make sure she had everything ready to go in time!

No words can describe our Amazing, over the top, experience with Julie. We had a destination wedding so the first time we saw her was when she so sweetly came to the rehearsal and discussed back up rain plans with me and not the bride. Her talent, creativity, artistry are only matched by her kindness. The weather was 90 % rain, lightening, storms and so she and her hubby built a portable chuppah the morning of, just in case. The beautiful venue Sucoop has a built in gazebo, but with the precarious weather, she made the call to build and decorate a small one so that Morgan could have the vision of her dreams. Julie far exceeded our expectations in every way and her humor and ability to call the shots was just what we needed. Her professionalism and straight up "I got this" mentality was above and beyond. The centerpieces, the bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres, and Morgan's Bouquet were the most romantic, stunning, I have ever seen. She made it a real dream come true. We are forever grateful for her and will use her regardless of where our next family event will be. If you want to hire the best. Julie James Designs is it. !! This MOB is over the moon.

I chose Julie right away after seeing the flowers she did for my best friend's wedding. I gave Julie a brief idea of what I wanted and some general colors and she ran with it! I actually cried when I saw my flowers, they were AMAZING and exactly what I wanted. She is easy to communicate with, is straightforward with pricing and is so so friendly!

My sister got married over the summer and lives out of town, so she trusted me in taking care of the flowers. We were both so happy that we trusted Julie for her big day! Julie is so talented with such a great eye and pays great attention to detail. My sister was beyond happy with her flowers, and she received so many compliments! I love seeing them in her pictures!

I can't say enough good things about my experience using Julie for my wedding. I had a blank canvas of a venue, and had no idea what I wanted for myself and my maids. I ended up asking Julie to just surprise me- I saw my flowers for the first time on my wedding day and absolutely loved them. Julie has a way of designing something for you that is completely unique and unexpected, and that was important to me- I didn't want to look like every other bride! Julie went above and beyond to create beautiful centerpieces, garlands, and even hang custom wreaths and Spanish moss from my venue's ceiling! She no doubt goes the extra mile for every bride she works for to create a beautiful and unique design, and at a very reasonable price as well. I cannot recommend her enough!

First off, I have to say that Julie did not do flowers for my wedding (not yet at least...), but she did help me greatly increase the odds of that happening. I asked Julie if she would help me make a bouquet for a girl that I had liked for years because I had just asked her on a first date, and she went out of her way to make something beautiful and really creative with the colors I mentioned. She went the extra mile to make something really meaningful and I cannot thank her enough. This is truly her passion and calling and I will never use another florist. I ended up asking her to help me with flowers for Valentine's Day as well, and of course she delivered another spectacular arrangement. Needless to say, this girl and I have been dating for quite a while now.... ;)

Julie did all the flowers for my August wedding and they were perfect! She really took a lot of time to understand my personal style and the way I wanted things to look at my wedding, and she ended up creating exactly the "look" I was going for! She also understood my budgetary constraints and was able to create designs that were well within our agreed-upon budget. She is easy to communicate with, professional, and has a great knowledge of flower types and designs for any kind of event.

Julie is amazing! I had a fall wedding in late October. I did not have a specific color attached to my wedding, and all six bridesmaids wore a different color. Julie made a cohesive design that went perfectly with my broad spectrum color scheme. She went above and beyond to make my wedding flowers incredible. Julie was so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. I had a vision in my mind, but I had a lot of trouble vocalizing it to Julie. Julie was very patient and took what I said and created something far more inspired than anything I could have imagined. Julie was quick to offer advice because I was so scatter brained about what I wanted. This isn't the type of work you'd find in a typical "flower shop," Julie creates unique designs that matches the bride's personality. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for top quality floral design.

Ladies do not waste your time like Julie waisted mine! I set up a meet and greet with her, everything went very well (don't get me wrong she is a nice person). She had all kinda of ideas and I just loved them all right off the bat. She told me she would send me over an invoice in about 2-3 days. A week later nothing still, so I sent a follow up email. No response for about 3 days and then finally wrote me a generic email with a price. I had a few questions so I emailed her right back. It has been about two weeks from then and still nothing!!! Talk about bad business. Don't waste your time, I know that I dont want someone to do my flowers for my wedding that won't even respond to my emails months before my actual wedding!

Julie is amazing! She works within your budget without making it appear like a budget wedding! Shes so great to work with- she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! She has a real talent for making beautiful arrangements! She is also incredibly creative and you can tell her a general vision you have and she will bring it life, but even better than you thought. She also came in clutch on my wedding day. My ceremony was starting in less than an hour and most of my decorations werent out- she rounded up my bridesmaids and they went and got all the decorations up and organized very fast. Shes incredible- hire her now!
