Julie James Design

utely gorgeous and I really love her approach to design and the overall style of her work. Julie is such a professional in every way, but also extremely easy and fun to work with. I provided very little guidance for what I wanted for my wedding, and she ran with her own creative ideas and totally knocked it out of the park! Aside from designing the bouquets and boutonnieres, she also did a simple yet elegant design for the cocktail tables and created an amazing piece for our remembrance mantle over the fireplace at our venue, as well as a gorgeous asymmetrical design for the arch during our ceremony. 1000/10 would recommend hiring Julie James Design and her team, you WILL NOT be disappointed!

s on florals. She put together everything FLAWLESSLY. I was absolutely obsessed with every floral arrangement she made including the center pieces, the ceremony pieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, you name it! You will not regret working with Julie!!

whether or how this could be pulled off - but Julie was! And boy - did she deliver. Point this artist in the direction of your vision and then turn her loose! She even incorporated little nails and screws into the guys boutonnières. It may be that no guests noticed - but we knew they were there and got a kick out of them. Julie worked joyfully, embraced the vision, and went above and beyond.

w beautiful the flowers were and enjoyed the non-floral elements. Julie and her team took time to understand our vision and delivered! They were easy to work and communicate with!

and brought it to life ten fold. The whole staff goes above and beyond and they are a joy to work with. I would only ever go to Julie James Design for Florals again.

. She’s a wizard with interesting textures - from the ceremony garland down the boutonnieres, the floral composition was eye-catching and unique. We wanted some unusual flowers and she delivered on everything! Short-haired soon-to-be-weds: I didn’t think I’d be able to wear anything in my hair because it’s so short, but Julie CAME THROUGH with the most STUNNING, compact, gorgeous flower clip I’ve ever seen and I was thrilled to get to wear it all night! Julie truly went above and beyond for everything - we highly recommend her and are so, so glad we got to have her talents for our wedding!!!

ch. Julie delivered the flowers on my wedding day and she was so kind and thoughtful; she made me feel so special and beautiful with her kind words and sincerity. You can tell that she loves what she does and is passionate about making sure her clients are happy. I am so thankful I chose Julie James Design as our florist.

ht on it to make sure it was what we wanted. I loved her creativity and her florals are unmatched. She even worked with my husband to get me flowers as a gift for our wedding day from him. Forever in love with Julie and grateful.

to help with whatever is necessary. I had a vision of Spanish moss everywhere at my wedding and she made that happen! I felt like I was in New Orleans, and that was exactly my hope. She is quick at responding, and so knowledgeable about her line of work. She knew what I was going for for our wedding before I even did. Her floral designs are STUNNING, and she is such a wonderfully high energy person to be around and work with! I could not recommend her enough!!

smooth and simple, and she and her team did a fantastic job building the pieces for our wedding, then moving around our outdoor venue as the day progressed and we moved throughout the venue. Julie definitely added beauty to our perfect day!

he most beautiful arrangements and garlands I have ever seen.

sthetic is unmatched. I was told all night from guests and my other vendors about about how stunning and unique our flowers were, and I agree completely! She was able to work with our budget and provide the most lovely details. I trusted her entirely and delivered above and beyond! THANK YOU, LOVE LOVE LOVE!

nd personable. She is responsive to messages, and worked with me step-by-step as my wedding plans changed secondary to COVID. She gave me everything I described to a “T” - bouquets, centerpieces, large pieces, and a full floral arch. The flowers were stunning, and she had my venue set up a few hours before the wedding. Working with her was so easy, especially being from out of town. I would recommend her for any occasion! Thank you Julie!

for their wedding. She's also so KIND, COMPASSIONATE and so funny (follow her on insta for a good laugh)! I actually ended up eloping (thanks COVID) and called up Julie on a Friday, asking if she could do anything for me on Monday (3 days notice) and she created the most beautiful floral columns and the bouquet of my dreams. She had a way to put me at ease even though I was completely freaking about eloping and that is something money cannot buy. Her flowers absolutely made my wedding and made my photos stunning. Book with Julie and you will not regret it!!

y to work with. My wedding had to be postponed from May 22, 2020 to July 24, 2020. Which forced us to change up the floral arrangements two separate times before I was crushed with the news that I needed to reduce my headcount to 50. We got married at The Pennsylvanian and since Allegheny County only allowed gatherings of 50 outside, that meant everything would have to move out into the rotunda. Once again, forcing us to switch up everything we had planned. Julie was so calm throughout the whole process. As a bride going through COVID, you almost have this mentality of “I’ll believe it when I see it” when it comes to actually reaching your wedding day. When I received my bouquet at the hotel, I cried. I was so stressed and sad about everything I had gone through with our wedding and it’s really hard to let your guard down. In that moment, suddenly, I felt excited, happy, emotional, and most importantly like a bride. I finally realized in that moment I was getting married and IT WAS HAPPENING and it was about to be MAGICAL. Then as soon as I got to the venue, I cried again. I walked into nothing short of a scene plucked out of a fairy tale. I cried so much that day because of the work Julie and her team put in, that literally my fake eyelashes needed to be reapplied. It was STUNNING. I was in shock at the level of detail and expertise. She went above and beyond to make my vision come true. I felt like a princess. I couldn’t stay focused because I kept starring at the arrangements, that’s how gorgeous everything turned out. Her bio doesn’t say this, but she’s a creative GENIUS. If you want a florist who is going to go above and beyond for you, no matter what... hire Julie James. She turned my COVID wedding into the wedding of my dreams and I’ll never be able to thank her enough!

I was so excited to see the flowers because she truly is a genius. When I finally did see the flowers, tears came to my eyes. They were more beautiful than I could have expected. Wedding guests stopped me constantly to compliment our beautiful florals and wanted to know who designed them. Julie is phenomenal. But beyond that, she is an absolute ray of sunshine! She is so much fun to be around and is just as beautiful as the flowers she creates! I cannot speak highly enough about Julie James Designs and I would recommend her to any bride. Thank you, Julie, for sharing your time and talent with me on my wedding day!

t to take your vision and run with it and make it a dream, look no further! 100% would highly recommend!

and centerpieces. She executed my vision perfectly it was amazing! I was so obsessed with my bouquet and all the centerpieces that pulled our reception room together exactly how I envisioned it! Julie is super open about pricing and will make any adjustments needed up until a few weeks before the wedding. She’s the absolute best!!!!

ortable and she took ideas that we had for our flowers and made them into the most stunning bouquets, centerpieces, garlands, and accessories. She was extremely understanding of our budget and wanted to make our dreams come true with what we had to work with. We are so thankful for her hard work and talent because our flowers were absolutely stunning. Thank you Julie James!

n packaged them up so that they could be driven a distance (a few hours). I highly recommend Julie to anyone who wants someone who is easy to work with and is very creative!

irst meeting you and really listens to everything you want to make your day perfect. She completely blew me away with how beautiful our bouquets were and with the pergola flowers she did!! Her designs are gorgeous and I can't recommend her enough! Thank you Julie!!

I'm incredibly grateful for the work Julie had put into our wedding. Oh not to mention, her prices are very reasonable for what you get bc her work is absolutely gorgeous. nt and like. We received so many complements about all the floral arrangements she did. The bouquets and boutonnieres she did were amazing and perfectly matched our venue and theme. She has an awesome personality that makes her so much fun to work with! Highly recommend!

and it stayed together beautifully. She totally got the vibe of the event and created the most beautiful floral designs for our wedding. I would recommend her to anyone!

way possible!! The floral arrangements she brought to our wedding surpassed any expectation we had! Her work is incredible!!

anted someone who could pull off the heavyweight stuff, in our instance, a full floral treatment for our ceremony gazebo that needed to be moved to a second location after our ceremony. Enter Julie who took it in stride and not only did she create an incredible arrangement but she did it with joy and ease. She is truly the salt of the earth and I wish we were doing it all again as it feels as though we have made a friend in her this past year and I already miss her! Choosing Julie as our florist was one of the best choices we made during our planning process. Thank you Julie for working with me so diligently to make my vision come to life! You are every brides dream vendor!

my suggestions and also gave me some great tips about other design elements that I was wavering on throughout the planning process. We adjusted the invoice several times, and I appreciated all she was willing to adjust and provide for the price. My bouquet was perfectly sized for my petite frame while also being textural and dynamic. I loved the flowers we selected and the guys’ boutonnières were unique as well. The only bummer was a few flowers (anemones and dahlias) didn’t hold up more than an hour since we were outside in 95 degree heat for an hour for our first look and photos. My bouquet looked a little wilted and my husband’s boutonnière had turned brown by the end of the ceremony, but I’m sure nobody noticed. She worked at my venue for 3+ hours to construct my floral columns and other hanging pieces throughout the venue. She definitely helped bring my vision to life, and I am hoping my husband will contact her for special events in the future. ;) Thanks again, Julie!!

till getting compliments a month later about how incredible everything was! She was great to work with, and made the process really easy! I appreciate how she captured the vibe we were going for, and just ran with it. Couldn't have asked for more! Our wedding party has already said how they would hire her for their own wedding in a second. Thank you, Julie! :)

rk with and perfectly captured what we wanted. My wife was extremely pleased! Now, I contact her every year before our anniversary so she can create an arrangement that reflects back to our wedding vibe.

h me multiple times to make sure she had everything correct for our special day. Her assistants set everything up for us and they also did an outstanding job. Definitely use Julie and her team! You won't be disappointed. :)

ay. We decided to stick with one single football mum for the bridesmaids, and Julie spruced it up with a few other greens... They turned out GORGEOUS! I'm so happy looking back at my photos. :) Julie is organized, easy going, and definitely has an eye for her craft.

c. for our day, seeming to know exactly what I was wanting without me having the flower knowledge to verbalize it. She was extremely flexible as our guest count & ceremony location drastically changed very close to the wedding day, causing us to need to adjust my order. She arrived promptly to the venue to make sure she had everything ready to go in time!

ry knowledgeable and was able to figure out exactly what we wanted, even though my husband and I know nothing about flowers. Julie was prompt, organized, and easy to communicate with. Our bouquets, corsages, and centerpieces were gorgeous and held up throughout the day. I highly recommend her. Thank you Julie for helping make our big day so special!
