Working with Julie was great! She was always quick to respond to our questions and gave us plenty of information. We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos with Julie and they all came out incredible. She worked with us during the photo shoots to make us feel comfortable and relaxed as we went through a range of poses/settings/backdrops. She was incredible on the day of our wedding going back and forth between the bridesmaid’s and groomsmen’s ready rooms to capture all of the preparations and then had a great detailed list of all the groupings of people to get together for photos. Julie took a mind boggling number of photos and then had them edited and sent back to us at an insane speed. She truly is wonderful to work with and will work so hard to make sure your photos capture your special day.

Julie was wonderful to work with for our wedding in Kennebunkport! Leading up to the big day, she was organized and timely with her responses to our questions. On the day of, she fit in seamlessly and helped keep everyone relaxed throughout pictures. We then received our photos quickly after the wedding and are super pleased with how they came out! We are BEYOND thrilled that we chose Julie to capture our wedding. My wife and I had a destination wedding in Kennebunkport, Maine so choosing vendors was really just based on doing our own research and combing through reviews. It took me a while to write this review because Julie was truly so incredible throughout our wedding journey! For our engagement shoot, she laughed with us and totally set my husband at ease when he was nervous in front of the camera. We even had a date change for the wedding months later and Julie made it work! We had six small children at our wedding, and she was organized and engaging with them as well. My dad, who also doesn’t enjoy having his picture taken, was really impressed with her work as well during our ceremony and the portraits after! Julie is so talented, passionate about her work, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Beautiful photos in record time! Julie was incredibly professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire planning and wedding process. I was a little nervous because we didn’t do engagement photos with Julie, but she arrived with such professionalism, friendliness, and flexibility that we felt at ease in front of the camera. She took beautiful photos, and even more amazingly, she had our entire wedding gallery completed and to us just six days after our wedding!

Julie was hands down one of the best decisions we made in our wedding weekend! She was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. She listened to what we wanted, asked what we needed, and was able to capture all the candid moments. Julie was present and direct when needed (when we had a lot of people and on a tight schedule) but then also was able to seamlessly blend into the background to where we didn't even notice she was there! She took the most beautiful photos AND provided the proofs extremely fast! Highly, highly recommend!

Anyone looking for a photographer in the Kennebunkport, ME area, this is your girl! It's so important to vibe well with your photographer considering you spend majority of the day with them. Julie is AMAZING! She is so easy going, communicative, and helps guide you though different poses/positions all while making you feel so relaxed! For our engagement pictures we had freezing weather and our wedding was raining. Both days the weather wasn’t ideal, but she was such a trooper and did whatever it took to get the right shots, all while making it fun. We also couldn’t believe how QUICKLY we got our beautiful photos back. Less than 72 hours…. I have friends who didn’t get their pictures back for MONTHS. We were so pleased with how our pictures came out and will always recommend her to our friends and families who are looking for a photographer!

We are so so so glad we hired Julie to photograph our wedding! From the first time we talked with her on the phone, she made both of us feel incredibly comfortable. On the day of, she was super organized and made sure we got all of the photos we wanted, even when our planned schedule fell apart a bit. She also gave us great directions while we were taking portraits which made everything feel easy. In addition, the photos from our wedding are absolutely amazing! Both the planned portraits and the candids are frame worthy, and we are going to be obsessed with these photos forever. Finally, she had a super quick turn around with getting us our photos. She sent us the online album four days after our wedding, and the thumb drive about a week after that. Overall, we were so impressed with her professionalism and her personability, and would highly highly recommend her!

Julie is fantastic!! We are absolutely in love with our photos both from the wedding day and the engagement session we did. Julie's photos are so vibrant and joyful and we feel like they really captured the day perfectly. Julie is an amazing wedding photographer. You will be so happy if you book her! She was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process but especially on the big day - she even helped me get my shoes on when my bridesmaids were busy! We didn’t have a wedding planner and working with Julie helped us to build our timeline for the day. She also was a real pro when it rained the day of the wedding and was still able to get us many of the outside shots we wanted for the first look and with the wedding party. She also did a wonderful job capturing the guests and got everyone on our shot list. The pictures came back so quickly and they look beautiful! I would absolutely recommend having Julie capture your special day for you!

I have been in two weddings Julie shot and recently she was the photographer for my own, and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was extremely communicative from the beginning to the end. The day of there are bound to be some changes, but Julie was flexible and efficient, ensuring we all stayed on schedule and all my must have pictures we captured. Lastly, I was truly amazed by how quickly Julie had our pictures back to us- my friends waited over a month and I received mine within a few weeks. If you need a photographer, I couldn't recommend Julie enough.

Julie was communicative right from the beginning and helped put me at ease for the whole wedding planning process. She responded quickly to emails and when we met in person to review the formal pictures list and day of timeline she was punctual, kind, cheerful and overall a wonderful person to work with. Julie was absolutely our favorite and best vendor to work with. First, her photography speaks for itself: bright colors, unique viewpoints, and capturing natural moments- all things we really wanted photographed at our wedding! At our engagement shoot she put us at ease, and even suggested some spots in Portland we didn't know about which resulted in some of our most favorite photos! Leading up to our wedding, she was organized, responsive, and responsible: she emailed me a month ahead of time to establish our timeline and "must have shots". She was also flexible in capturing a few getting-ready moments as well :) She was also extremely quick in getting the photos back to us- we had them within a week! The photos came out so amazing and perfectly captured our day. I would recommend Julie to anyone in a heartbeat.

We initially met Julie when she photographed our engagement and instantly fell in love with her style. We immediately booked her for our engagement photos and August 2022 wedding and could not be more pleased. Julie and her assistant photographer were absolutely wonderful! They were both so professional and helped the day run very smoothly. I had a huge wedding party and Julie was easily able to organize us all with a kind and positive attitude. I was looking for bright colorful photos and Julie certainly delivered. We hired Julie for our engagement and wedding photos, an d she was absolutely incredible! First, she is an absolute delight to work with. She is friendly and down-to-earth and also cool as hell. She put us at ease and we felt very comfortable being photographed by her. She has an incredibly fast turnaround for photo edits, with engagement photos back THE NEXT DAY and almost 900 wedding photos back within a week. Our guests all adored her, and she was never in the way during the reception. Her photos are seriously stunning and bring out the natural beauty and joy in each subject- we all looked radiant! People who normally hate themselves in photos were reaching out to me to see how amazing they are. She does some of the staged photos that are typical, and those are great, but she truly shines in finding and capturing the candid, poignant, and funny moments that really bring the photos to life. The colors are beautiful and vibrant works of art. I seriously can't gush about Julie enough, and will probably have to find more excuses for her to photograph us in the future :) Seriously, our highest recommendation for Julie!

Julie photographed a friend's wedding that I was in and I didn't hesitate to hire her to capture my wedding in May. She has a very calm presence and puts you at ease right away. She has a perfect way of sitting back and capturing what is happening while also giving direction for photography. My husband and I are not people who take a lot of pictures, so we weren't quite sure what to do a lot of the time. Julie would quietly guide us with sort of a "trust me!" look on her face. All of the shots that she gave us direction on are easily our favorites of the bunch! Julie also took beautiful photos of everything happening all day and looking through them allows us to relive the day over and over. We had a beautiful day filled with so much joy and we cannot thank Julie enough for capturing that joy in photos.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Julie is such an incredible person and photographer. My husband and I are not comfortable in front of the camera/being center of attention but Julie made us feel relaxed and actually enjoy the experience. She captured the moments beautifully. I wish we had another exciting event coming up so we could work with her again!

We had the BEST experience with Julie! We had originally planned our wedding for summer 2020, but due to covid-19, our plans changed and for a while we didn't know when/where/what we were going to do. Julie was so flexible and understanding throughout all the uncertainty, and we are so so so happy that we finally had our day and Julie was there to document such a sweet celebration after such a long wait! Julie made our photos so much fun, and we all felt so comfortable with her there. It was such a joy to relive the day when Julie sent us the stunningly beautiful photographs. Julie was absolutely amazing in photographing our wedding this past August in Portland, Maine. Leading up to the wedding she was very helpful and patient in answering my questions and working together to make sure we had our (very long) shot list taken care of. Both my husband and I have divorced families which means we have double the family members, aka, a lot of "mandatory" photos. She has such a friendly and welcoming personality. Although we had only spoken on the phone (never met in person - I didn't want to do engagement photos) until my wedding day, I felt 1000% comfortable with her when we met! I received SO many compliments throughout the night of how "involved" she was... out on the dance floor capturing every moment, mingling with our guests to get the perfect shots! She was crazy quick to send back our edited photos and USB drive. THANK YOU for making our wedding day so easy and fun!!!

I am so happy that we hired Julie for our wedding! She was so easy to work with in the planning process and accommodated our wedding being re-scheduled multiple times due to the pandemic. We were incredibly impressed by Julie from start to finish. After reading through many reviews we scheduled a phone call to meet each other as we were not local. Her honesty was one of the things I truly appreciated we had just begun the wedding planning process and had already given a few deposits so I asked if I could wait a month before signing our contract and providing our deposit. Julie said yes and that she would let us know if anyone else inquired about our date. A few weeks went by and Julie reached out saying another bride had asked about our day, I knew it was time to move forward. Fast forward to the wedding day, Julie arrived on time with no issues getting herself to the island we were getting married on. We finally met each other in person and I could just tell we were the perfect fit. Having pictures taken can be stressful and uncomfortable at times but we did not feel any of these emotions with Julie we were laughing and just having a really good time. We also had numerous friends and family comment on how great she was! I had heard many horror stories about the length of time couples had waited to get their photos back because of this I was ready to wait weeks knowing full well that the photos would be worth the wait. Much to my surprise just 4 DAYS after our wedding we received a link with every photo available at our fingertips. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. Thanks Julie!

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer! Julie was so easy to work with, and she has such an incredible eye for shots. We were able to photograph everything we wanted in just 7 hours, which I really appreciated, and we even got to enjoy half of cocktail hour! I can't recommend her enough.

Julie was amazing from the planning to the final product. Julie was one of the few photographers that was willing to do a custom package, I was looking for something more than an elopement package but less than 8-10 hours, Julie was able to give me a few options in between those two extremes. As a COVID bride the plans changed many times and Julie was always quick to respond and to roll with the revisions. She was super helpful in creating a timeline for the day which I used to coordinate other vendors and my wedding party. In the weeks leading up to the wedding she checked in on the details to make sure nothing had changed. Day of she was fantastic at handling a very large and rambunctious and possibly a little tipsy set of groomsmen, she got some amazing shots without being “in the way” or disrupting the flow and vibe of the wedding, and my one request was to move through formals fast so we could get to cocktail hour, we had a solid 40 minutes of cocktail hour left to eat and visit with guests! Our wedding was at a boys summer camp so not necessarily the most elegant setting but they way she captured these photos it looks like we are in a woodland fairytale. Probably the most important fact, she got almost 700 photos back to me in a WEEK! A WEEK!!!

Literally blown away with the quality of the pictures and the moments she was able to capture! I can look through and literally relive the entire day! From getting ready, to having mimosas with my bridesmaids in our robes, my parents reading the card I wrote them and crying lol, then our entire beach wedding photos were great! She did an amazing job with our family photos but also got some really cool fun ones with our wedding party cheering in the background as we shared a kiss. That one is my absolute favorite. At the reception, again I can relive all the moments, including my uncle's family tradition of finger swiping the back of the cake! She went through and found all of these either fun or intimate interactions between my guests and got photos of that. I am actually sending personal pictures to each couple of them at the wedding with my thankyou cards, they are that good! Julie is a very fun and easy to talk to photographer. Even though this was a destination wedding at a beach that's three hours away from us, I would actually consider having her do my maternity photos down the road! Impressive work. We hired Julie for our intimate wedding at a "camp" by a lake in Maine. Ahead of the wedding, she was communicative, organized, and timely. She arrived at the wedding on time and got right to work on photographing the scene (while we were running a bit behind schedule.) Once we were taking couple photos she made it really easy for us, setting us up to act naturally as she got her shots. Throughout the wedding she was engaged and seemed genuinely happy to be there with us. Since we had such a tiny wedding it was really nice to have her feel like she was enjoying being there too. She made she we got all the shots we wanted. And after, she got us the photos within 2 DAYS! They were beautiful and we were very happy. I highly recommend her.

If you are looking for a photographer who is experienced, easy to work with and takes beautiful photos, look no further. Julie was super efficient, getting tons of great shots, but allowing us and our wedding party to enjoy the cocktail hour and reception! She was like a photo ninja, blending in and moving thru the day taking great shots that were so natural and candid. She also delivered the photos to us sooo quickly, only 3 days after the wedding! And they came out beautiful. Plus her pricing is beyond reasonable for her level of experience and skills. Great experience all around, we would definitely recommend her.

We initially hired Julie for our June 2020 wedding in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. We do not live in Maine, so I only spoke with her on the phone before hiring her. I felt at ease after only talking to her on the phone, so I knew she was a good choice. We had to reschedule our wedding to June 2021 due to Covid. Julie was very understanding and flexible during the rescheduling process. On the day of our wedding, she was delightful to have around and she gave just the right amount of direction. Even my family members commented on how much they liked her. She sent us our entire photo gallery within one week after the wedding and we love the photos. I highly recommend hiring Julie for your wedding!

Julie was patient outgoing and so helpful. We are horrible with posing and taking pictures. She was very knowledgeable and knew what best lighting would work and where to go around the park. She was also really fast with editing and keeping in touch to get the pictures back. Loved her!!!

My fiancee and I are getting married in Vermont next year but really wanted to have our engagement photos taken in Maine this fall and wanted to have one photographer for both occasions. Julie responded to us right away. She was friendly, professional, flexible, responsive, and reassuring as we worked out scheduling and traveling safely during COVID. We ended up with a beautiful day for our shoot and, though we were nervous to be in front of the camera, Julie eased us in and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She was game to figure out a couple of special shots we wanted and then had plenty of great ideas to fill in the rest of our time. She got our pictures back to us so quickly, and they are wonderful! We're so excited to have her with us on our wedding day next year!

If you need a wedding photographer look no further! Julie is simply the best! For starters, when booking, she was so accommodating to my terribly schedule and was so understanding when i had to reschedule and cancel things. There was a point where I almost had to change my wedding date and she was still so flexible and easy to work with! When it comes to taking the pictures she is just simply the best. Both my husband and I have never had these types of pictures done and we waited til the day before the wedding to do our "engagement shoot". She made this awkward pair feel so natural while not looking overly staged or fake. She was very accommodating and patient with our dog being involved as well. When it came to the wedding day she captured everything! More than I could even think of and she really knows how to work with the natural light that is provided, I never really think I look good in pictures but when I look at our wedding photos they are stunning. It is hard to pick my favorites as I just love them all so much. If you still need a wedding photographer do not wait and book her now! you will not be disappointed she is seriously the nicest, calm, most accommodating and talented photographer. 10/10 would recommend!

Julie was amazing to work with! Always responsive, full of great ideas, and able to capture beautiful shots. She not only traveled far for our wedding, but made both my husband and I feel really comfortable on our wedding day. She got gorgeous shots of details, portraits, group shots, and candids. Julie was a blessing to work with! Our original wedding plans were changed due to COVID, so we opted for a small elopement with our kids in Maine. Julie was flexible, quick to respond, and really helped us pull together a beautiful ceremony. She had recommendations for a ceremony site and at the last minute allowed us to add an extra photo shoot at our rental house before the ceremony. Julie was thoughtful with her photos and we are so very pleased with her artistic approach to capturing our day. She took so many beautiful candid shots and we treasure her photos as we relive our wedding. She managed to get so many amazing emotions of us and our kids. Julie was comfortable to work with and helped us to feel natural in front of the camera. She was able to edit them and return them to us within a week and we can't stop looking at our photos!

Julie is wonderful! Because of Covid-19, we had to move our reception to next year and to downsize our 2020 ceremony and Julie was very accomodating. She offered us several options, such as a reasonable "elopement-style" package to fit our shorter ceremony's needs or the option of using the engagement shoot time we had already paid for for this abbreviated ceremony. Seriously, so kind! She made what could have been a stressful time so easy and friendly. She clearly LOVES what she does and loves working with the couples she photographs. Not only are her photos magical and effortless, she made my now husband and I (we are very awkward and shy in front of a camera) super comfortable on the day of and we hadn't even met her in person before. A true feat! She was warm, fun to talk to, and very professional while we tried to keep our August 2020 ceremony as covid-safe as possible. Looking at the photos from the day, I'm so impressed that she captured the joy and flow of our very traditional and socially distant church ceremony... Even though there was a lot of mask wearing and not many people there; I can hardly even tell because of her good eye and instincts - every shot is so beautifully done. We are just so pleased! I look forward to seeing her again in 2021 for our reception!

My husband and I are not comfortable in front of cameras. Julie was incredible, she captured our love genuinely, took flattering candids and posed pictures of our guests and did an amazing job communicating the joy of our wedding! We did an extra 2 hr engagement shoot after the wedding and got pictures that we’ll treasure forever. Julie was professional, low key, and got back with pictures in a few days! We can not recommend her strongly enough!

Julie is wonderful. Her work speaks for itself, but her presence is such an important part of the way she works. She understands people. She knows how to be in the right place at the right time, but you almost don’t notice there’s a camera in your face because she knows how to be there without just being a machine. It makes it easy to be in front of he camera without making stupid faces.

We had the pleasure of having Julie do our engagement photos and wedding photos over the past year at it was the best experience possible!
