t both our engagement session in NYC Central Park and then our wedding in Boston. We immediately felt comfortable with Julie who brings an easygoing kindness, patience and positive energy while shooting. She didn’t even flinch when we told her our chihuahua would be joining us for everything and was so accommodating to include him. Further, we had an intercultural but traditional Indian wedding with a very tight run-of-show, complete with a baraat procession outside, detailed rituals during the ceremony, outfit changes and choreographed group dancing at the reception and Julie and her 2nd photographer Meg captured all the special moments wonderfully! The post-production editing process was also extremely smooth and efficient. We love looking through the photos and reliving our favorite day and we cannot recommend Julie Lippert Photography enough!

ws, so we decided to do a last minute impromptu ceremony near our house in a secluded spot in the woods. Julie came highly recommended and we are so grateful we chose her! As our only wedding guest other than the minister and our 10 year old daughter, she brought lightness, positivity, humor, and talent to what was a bittersweet day. Julie somehow managed to transform our our modest little last minute, half an hour long vow exchange in the woods near a school, to an enchanted fairytale forest wedding...capturing and storytelling the radiance of the love, the emotion and the nature that enveloped us throughout each moment. We will treasure these pictures forever!

but I could not be happier with the amount of amazing and beautiful photos that were captured by Julie and her team. The quality of the photos were superb. Everyone who has viewed our wedding photos/album could not stop saying how much they loved all of them. On the actual wedding day, she and her assistant Meg did an incredible job of documenting every aspect of the day. They were never intrusive during the ceremony and reception, yet they ended up with some excellent shots. They were always on the lookout for photo opportunities as well, taking us outside at the end of the reception as the sun was going down because of the way the flowers were being illuminated and even trying to find a location after the reception where we could be captured with the full moon - the moonshot did not end up working out, but the fact they were even willing to go above and beyond showed us the level of their dedication. We got full access and ownership over all our photos after Julie took time to go through them all, providing us a book of the highlights as well. I can not say enough about how great it was to work with Julie and she would get our highest recommendation in a heartbeat. UPDATE 4 years later: When we were in a bind for our maternity shoot photographer, Julie came to the rescue and worked us into her busy schedule. Once again, it was so much fun working with Julie and we received beautiful photos that helped us capture that special time of our lives.

n I wanted around on our wedding day – she knows exactly how to make everyone calm and comfortable while still giving direction when needed. We did an engagement session and were so blown away with our photos that we had an impossible time picking just one for the save the date! Julie truly captured the “real us” and we felt at ease the whole time. As our wedding approached, Julie was responsive and organized. She completely understood what we wanted and gave great advice when we needed it. The day of the wedding Julie and her second shooter Meg, were absolutely wonderful! We got through bridal party and family photos seamlessly and had so much fun walking around the Boston Harbor taking photos. Julie sent over a sneak peek while we were on our honeymoon and we were in awe – she took some shots with the Boston skyline in the background and it almost looks like a fake backdrop. We went with a package which included engagement photos, and it was a great value that was totally worth it. This gave us a chance to get to know Julie before the wedding. She made us feel comfortable and we got a sneak preview of her photography style. It was the perfect fit for us. Julie is a true professional, with an easy-going personality and a great sense of humor that put us at ease. At the wedding, she worked so well and seamlessly with our wedding videographer. I gave Julie a list of the details, moments, and people I wanted to capture, and she got them all! We were so happy to see our pictures from our wedding. Julie and her second photographer were able to capture all the special moments beautifully. It was especially touching to see the moments we had missed. I was amazed at the details Julie was able to capture, and she did it all so unobtrusively that you hardly noticed she was there. She got our pictures back to us in 3 weeks! She was always up front about this turn around time and stuck to it! We have full access to over 1,000 photos, which we can download and use as we want. Julie's personality was also such a blessing on our day. She was a calming presence, who never felt intrusive, and was smiling right along with us. er we had our first look but she kept us calm and was still able to get great pictures in of our wedding party and parents before the ceremony. I honestly was against spending money on a photographer but I couldn't be happier my wife talked me into using this money on Julie.
