pectful, talented and hilarious group of artists I’ve ever worked with. Christina did my eyelash extensions and mixed some longer and shorter length volume lashes to give me a natural pop. Mel and Julie did such a beautiful job on my girls and mother. Julie and I were back and forth on what look to do from my trial, and when I was still unsure on my wedding day, she said “I know what I’m going to do” and it was BEYOND expectations. Mel did the same for me and even touched up my mother’s wig to help out. I still get my lashes done there and plan to continue services for hair and makeup as needed with them. Future brides, book this talented team. You won’t regret it. Thank you again ladies!

ding and everything worked out beautifully. After having my hair and makeup trial with Julie and Mel, I had a few things I wanted to adjust for my wedding. They both were very responsive and made sure everything was perfect for my wedding. I am usually very apprehensive about getting any hair and makeup done because I have had bad experiences in the past. But when they turned me around to show me the final look at my wedding I almost burst into tears with relief and happiness. I felt so confident all night and had exactly the look I wanted. They also had a team work with my Mom and Bridesmaids. Everyone was beyond pleased and thanked me many many times for choosing such talented beauty artists!

When I drove up to Troy for my hair & makeup trial it ended up being super fun; she and Melanie, my hairstylist, made me feel comfortable and asked all of the right questions to help me come up with my ideal wedding day look. After that, during the months leading up to my wedding, she was responsive, professional and extremely organized. She and her team even stayed over my venue the night before my wedding day to prevent any chance of being late or not being on schedule. They made all 9 of my bridesmaids, my mother and myself look amazing - every girl was thrilled with their look and enjoyed chatting with the girls as they got their hair and makeup done. They even ran ahead of schedule and we were finished with plenty of time for a first look and photographs. I couldn't have been happier working with Beauty with Julie and recommend them to any bride looking for a stress-free experience with kind and talented hair & makeup artists!

y which is why I am giving them 3 stars. When planning my makeup trial Julie rescheduled me 3 times, I ended up having to go for my trial the morning before moving out of state. I also tried a few times to contact Melanie, who I hired to do my hair about different styles I was interested in and never received a response. Upon getting my invoice for my bridal party's hair and makeup I noticed I was charged much higher prices than my signed contact stated. The deposit amount was also incorrect on my invoice. I contacted Julie and she did correct it immediately. On my wedding day, I was the last one to get my hair done and ended up being 1 hour late. I would suggest that if time is running short, the bride should not be the last to go.

ith a full face of wedding makeup, I felt natural and beautiful. She will work with you during your trial and redo options as many times as needed to make sure everything looks perfect. Our wedding photographer commented to me just before our reception that he has never seen a bride’s makeup look so perfect that late into the day, especially since there was an absolute downpour outside and we managed to take some creatively placed outdoor photos! I would highly recommend her for weddings, proms, or any special event!

me she had no record of my sister on file. The funny thing is, she received the $100 deposit and refused to refund us. She said "Per company policy there's no refunds and I'm sure it says it on the receipt." Well a good business owner would take responsibility of their wrong doing and do what they could to right their wrong. She also proceeded to say "Per company policy we only speak with the bride" which is funny because a bridesmaid is the one who booked with her and she spoke with me all the way up until she got frustrated with me. She was making up policies as she went and then hung up on me! To boot, she had the incorrect contact information on the receipt and said "I haven't had that email in such a long time" which tells me she is not a reliable vendor if she can't update her contact information properly. Be careful is she makes a mistake because you will be the one paying for it.

nd truly listened to me and what I wanted. The feedback I gave after the trial was remembered and carried out on my wedding day and my makeup, as well as my wedding party’s, looked amazing!! She made everything so easy and stress free as well with an invoice right to my email a couple days before the wedding.

Julie had herself and 2 others (Melanie and Joseph) who literally SLAYYYED all of my friends and family members and did it so timely with how many people they had to work on. Like seriously, the joke was that I turned into Italian Beyonce because she just did such an outstanding job. Everyone looked so flawless. My skin tends to dry up throughout the day and it stayed ALL DAY LONG-the airbrush looked so natural and perfect. My wedding day, unfortunately, was very rainy and we did some outside shooting and it still looked amazing for over 10 hours. She made me feel so beautiful on the inside and out and is such a gem to work with. My lashes were perfect and I can't even begin to explain how happy I am using Julie and her team. After my trial, my mom decided to get her eyes done by Julie and she was willing to accommodate her as well and THEN the day of, my mom decided to have Julie do all of her make up and Julie didn't even flinch, she was so flexible with all the last minute changes. Julie did the make up for myself, 4 bridesmaid, and my mother all by herself and never once took a break! Julie did the airbrush and lashes on me, and the results were stunning! I have never felt so pretty. She also styled my hair into some loose, romantic curls for the photo shoot. All of the makeup and hair stayed in place throughout the rest of the day and into the night. It even lasted throughout the 90 degree weather we were having, and I was outside for a large portion of the day afterwards. The makeup also photographed perfectly. I was totally confident going into my photo shoot, and for once was not worried about the way I looked, thanks to Beauty with Julie! Any bride, or just anyone who gets to work with Julie is lucky to have her!

I loved her work and the experience so much that I had Julie do my make-up for my bachelorette weekend as well. Julie did such a great job the day of the wedding that one of my bridesmaids ended up getting her make-up done when she wasn’t planning on it. She just bought all new products for the wedding and decided to have Julie do it after witnessing what a great job she does. Everyone looked gorgeous and loved how the make-up turned out. My Grandmother originally didn’t think she should get her make-up done. She ended up loving it and asked Julie for the products she used and for some tips! Not only is Julie awesome at what she does, she is a ton of fun to work with! It felt like spending an hour with a friend while getting your make-up done. When my husband saw me he couldn’t believe how beautiful I looked. For someone who doesn’t like make-up at all, it was a big deal to have his approval. ou brides out there are like me, but I am as tomboyish as they come and I wasn't looking for any kind of over the top glamor makeup, I want to look natural on my big day. Being that I have very bright blue eyes, that was the only thing that I really wanted to stand out while still looking natural, and not knowing a single thing about makeup or how to apply most of it, I was a little intimidated when I was heading in to meet with Julie for my trial. Upon meeting her, let me tell you, you won't find anyone sweeter to work with. She was warm and welcoming and wanted to hear all about my fiancé and I and our journey to the altar. She also was great at walking me through each step as she was applying my makeup. I gave her a pretty vague description in what I was looking for and without fail she did an amazing job. I went home to my fiancé and he got very emotional upon seeing my transformation. He couldn't thank Julie enough for, in his words, "enhancing my natural beauty". We both are so grateful and cannot wait to have her share in our wedding day! Thank you so much again Julie!!!

At the trial Julie was very professional and not only listened to the type of look I was going for, but what colors would compliment my skin as well. I told her I wanted a "natural" look and that's exactly what she did! My skin looked flawless and my eye makeup was amazing with a light brownish smokey eye (plus lashes because I'm obessed!) Julie even did my makeup for my bridal shower--she is truly amazing because she was able to come over last minute for that-phew!! On my wedding day, Julie was on time, very professional, always with a smile on her face and so cheerful!! She did mine and my 5 bridesmaids makeup and everyone looked SO beautiful!!
