She put us both at ease throughout the day and all I can say is – OUR PHOTOS! For the first few weeks and probably several times of month, we just look through the highlight set that Julie posted on her blog because they are just so gorgeous and perfectly captured our day. Julie also takes a very unique approach to wedding photos in that there are close up shots, wide lens shots that highlighted the picturesque scenery of our venue, and film shots which were so fun because Julie and we would be surprised by the final product. yle that's perfect for capturing each moment in a way that you go back and say - wow this is just as I remembered it, but better!
She's tiny and fits right into the scene to capture everything without getting in the way - but if you need her to she can round up people for the perfect shot. Her eye is well trained in that she can take something very simple or plan and make it into a magical scene. I think she really has a great skill that I haven't seen in other photographers in that she's able to capture the shot perfectly in a way that others cant, blending light and dark as well as shadows and angles.
I think if you hire her for any event she really listens to the photos you want to capture, and will make sure she gets those - as well as getting a great range of photos you probably would never even think to ask for, because she really sees the scene, captures the emotion, and translates it into something amazingly beautiful!
