re that day, and what’s disappointing is that she didn’t take charge after seeing her coordinator struggling. If your name is attached to something you’d think that you would still make sure that you are doing a good job. Honestly we should be given a partial refund for getting someone that hasn’t coordinated on their own before. I had more meetings and chats with my DJ than I did with the coordinator. The main issues that we had was that they didn’t set our decor up like we asked, even after sending pictures. My MOH had to pretty much fix all of the tables. They didn’t even attempt to hang our arbor flowers. They just told my groom and groomsmen to figure it out, and didn’t even find them a stool to at least stand on. They barely checked on my husband and I throughout the day. My husband asked multiple times for the games at our venue and they just kept saying “oh I’m not sure”. When the ceremony approached we were told “Oh we are gonna give it about ten more minutes for the guests to finish arriving, and then bam “oh you’re on” no final check in to say “are you ready before the bridal party starts walking?” We had to frantically get ready cause we were crying and not ready. Then we had asked that food/drinks get brought out for our bridal party while we take pictures. That didn’t happen, they just disappeared. My aunt had to get snacks for us and my groom/groomsmen had to go get drinks, which took more time away from photos. I had to get people to line up for the group photos and get others to chase people down. Fast forward to the reception and they were taking the decor down or off the tables by 7:30-8pm. My wedding ended at 10 and they had an hour after to have everything picked up. So in my pictures the tables look empty. Then they knew that we were doing a private last dance and the guests were supposed to wait outside and then light their sparklers when were ready to exit. They told my guests to light the sparklers as soon as they got outside even before our first dance started. Then proceeded to BLAME MY GUESTS for lighting them early, when the coordinator lit hers first to light others. It was so hectic, that our last dance was interrupted!!! Our moment was ruined. Not to mention that they had extras to relight and an entire new box in my car. Lastly, our car was supposed to say “just married” and when asked for the marker(which I had three) the coordinator say “oh I don’t know” instead of finding one of them. To conclude, unfortunately a lot of our memories from our day is being upset with how bad the coordination of it went. I had my guests complaining to me after about the coordinator and my other vendors. I even had guests tell me that they had to turn their own candles on at their table. That really upset me, since they spent most of the day doing that, when it should have taken maybe an hour to do. I would NOT recommend this vendor.

Samantha went above and beyond to make our wedding so special, and we are so grateful for her. Her assistant was also so kind and helpful. Our reception area was decorated so perfectly and even more perfect than I ever could’ve dreamed of. lie from Julie Rupert Events, I immediately knew she was the one. She answered almost every question before I even asked, and for the few I still had, her answers were exactly what I needed to hear. She even told me, “You really only need day-of coordination,” instead of pushing a bigger package — which I loved. That spoke volumes to me. What I didn’t realize was that the “day of” package actually started 3 months out, and handing things off at that point became my saving grace. Wedding planning can truly make anyone a little crazy, and knowing Samantha (my lead planner) was handling all the final emails, timelines, and vendor coordination gave me a whole new sense of peace. Samantha was amazing — she managed everything behind the scenes but still checked in with me on anything she knew I’d want to make the final call on. She was clear, confident, and gave direction to our other vendors so I didn’t even have to hear if anything was running late or off track. She completely stood up for me and protected my peace. I’ll never forget when I was feeling a little anxious and checking the timeline — she literally flipped my phone over, smiled, and told me to just enjoy the moment because everything was handled… and she was right. The timing ended up being perfect. And I did not need to be checking my phone on my wedding day! Her assistant Hayleigh was there the day of, too — so many of my friends and family told me how sweet and helpful she was. Any time I saw her she seemed so happy and excited for the day and was so helpful. And they even helped with almost all of the setup, which we didn’t expect. That meant my family could relax and enjoy the morning instead of scrambling, and that meant the world to me. If you’re thinking you don’t need a coordinator — please hear this: even the most organized bride needs someone on the day of. You should be able to enjoy your wedding without worrying about what’s next. Julie Rupert Events made that possible for me, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Taylor was a LIFESAVER and made the day so easy and stress-free, and she did an incredible job helping prepare me through the pre-wedding process but also making sure everything was done beautifully on the wedding day. I didn't have to do anything except hand her the reigns, and the day was more amazing than I could've imagined. I am so incredibly thankful that we had Taylor/JRE helping us for our wedding and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone else getting married or planning any big event. They are amazing and you won't regret it! 10/10!
