Julien Xuereb - Classical Guitarist

I had the pleasure of working with Julien for both my bridal shower and wedding day. For my shower, I requested French-inspired tunes mixed with Bossa nova-esque vibes, and Julien completely delivered! For my wedding ceremony, I asked Julien for many suggestions. He not only provided suggestions, but went out of his way to record himself playing to share with me. For the bridal procession, we ended up deciding on Canon in D - an absolute pleasure listening to Julien play this beautiful tune! I recommend Julien's services - elegant and different!

Julien went out of his way to make sure that we had beautiful music for our wedding ceremony. He was professional, personable, and so easy to work with! Originally, we had booked Julien and a cellist to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. However, the night before our wedding, the cellist fell ill! With no preparation time, Julien created a brand new set list for him to play solo that still captured the sentiment of our wedding. Additionally, he rented a car to travel to our venue and rented sound equipment so that we would not have to worry about the little details. We are so appreciative of his quick thinking and top talent! We were in an outdoor setting and it was tough to hear him at times, so as I would with any live musician, I recommend strong coordination with your venue to make sure his beautiful music can be heard by all. Highly recommended!!

Julien is nothing short of amazing in all aspects of his craft. First of all, he plays the guitar so beautifully. We had many wedding guests asking about him because they were so impressed, and our ceremony was exactly how we pictured it would be because of the music he played. Now, this is really all you need if you’re just looking for someone who’s good at the guitar and can play the songs you want. However, Julien takes it even further by being incredibly professional, kind, and willing to work with your ideas to help make your wedding music perfect. He is very easy to get in contact with and responds promptly whenever you have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend hiring Julien!!

We hired Julien to provide classical guitar music at our wedding reception. We weren't interested in a dance party, but rather interesting music to create a reverent, joyful mood. Not only did he provide beautiful music, Julien was helpful, responsive to our questions and concerns, and punctual. We still hear from our guests about how much they enjoyed Julien's music and the atmosphere he created for our wedding reception.
