Even though our parents were helping out with paying for our wedding expenses, we still didn't want to get super-spendy with our budget, so in the beginning, we were trying to trim costs EVERYWHERE, including flowers for the wedding, reception, and bridal party. Originally, I was considering making all the bouquets myself using artificial flowers, but then I realized that 1) I'm not quite that talented! and 2) it would take a lot of time. We found JulieZdesignZ through the great reviews on this website. We set up a time to meet and she was very accommodating and met with us on a weekend. She was everything a wedding vendor should be: sweet, professional, and a delight to work with. Before our meeting, she gave me a little homework to do (like going on Pinterest is homework!), and I'm glad I did, because I didn't realize how clueless I was about what I wanted! Julie helped me figure out what flowers would look best, and had great ideas on how to tie together the colors and motifs we were using. I'd always wanted cherry blossoms at my wedding, but it was summer and waaaay past sakura season. No problemo--we gave Julie some artificial cherry blooms we picked up at the craft store and she worked them into the bouquets and my hubby's boutonniere effortlessly. She did all this while staying within the budget we gave her. She also offers bridal bouquets with a hidden water source--it's a little more expensive, but it's so worth it if you want good photos of your flowers throughout the day; it keeps them fresh and beautiful. My photographer got a shot of my bouquet at the end of the night, and it still looked gorgeous (except for one poor crushed rose, where clumsy me dropped it!) Julie was great with communicating through email, which was really convenient for me because I had to do a lot of planning while at work and couldn't really be on the phone. She was prompt and punctual, and even sent me receipts for payments received. (If I sound surprised, it's because there are vendors who don't do this!) All in all, I am immensely satisfied with Julie. Needless to say, the bouquets she provided us were absolutely beautiful. We had three groomsmen, three bridesmaids, a jr. bridesmaid, a flowergirl, a ring bearer, two dads, two moms, a grandma, and hubby & me, and we had bouquets/boutonnieres for everyone for way under the $1,000 we had budgeted. I don't have a single complaint! I would highly recommend this flexible, creative floral designer.

Julie was a pleasure to work with. She did all of the bridesmaid bouquets, my brides bouquet, the mens boutonnieres,and a couple wrist crosages. Julie worked with my budget and my vision and made it a reality. Since she works out of her home she's able to keep costs low. We were very pleased with how everything turned out.
