wedding photography. She immediately replied to my inquiry and we set up a phone call. She asked all the right questions finding out more about me and my fiance and what we were looking for. After narrowing down our search we still really wanted to meet Julina in person. She had us over for an appointment to meet her at her home/office (which is adorable btw). Meeting her in person and talking over all the details and getting to know her personality reassured us that she was our girl! Julina supplies you a ton of helpful information for planning and asked questions to nail down exactly what you wanted and how your day will go. With her experience and expertise she helped me put together a great day-of timeline that we followed almost exactly. While mentioning this I must also say her and her husband were wonderful to stay a little longer for us when we had an unexpected health issue arrive for my family at the reception. Her flexibility and attentiveness was so much appreciated. Julina also contacted me many months before our big day to let me know she was pregnant and due shortly after our wedding. To take every extra precaution she hired a 2nd photographer to be with her the day of at no extra cost to us. This was extremely smart and considerate of her just in case something happened --she was prepared! We knew she was going to be awesome but running around in 80+ degrees while very pregnant and having so much energy and creativity running through her ALL day solidified our thoughts on how amazing Julina is. Now on to the photos---BRAVO! These literally look like we stepped into an editorial photoshoot on location. Which is exactly what I wanted. I cannot wait to see more (we've only seen our sneak peek)--which she got to me within one week. She has just been incredible and we are so happy with our decision to work with her. Thank you Julina! I cannot stop staring at these photos. They make my heart so full and I know I will treasure them for the rest of my life! :)

k about leading up to the big day, it was so wonderful not to worry about photography. Julina arrived early the day of our wedding to get situated and brought along an assistant (free of charge) that helped everything run even more smoothly. She was directive when we needed it (with posing, etc) but not overly so, had creative ideas that turned out great, and had fun with us (she really "read the room" and was laughing and joking with us the whole day). Not to mention, she was SO speedy in getting our photos to us (a sneak peek within a few days of the wedding and the entire album TWO WEEKS after!) It was so much fun to relive all of the special moments (perfectly captured by Julina) when the day was still fresh, and to have photos available for thank you notes, etc in such a timely fashion. I could not recommend Julina more for a smooth, fun day and the best photos!

I think the best part about Julina’s Marie photography is the pictures are beautiful and one of a kind. Every time I share a picture from our wedding, someone tells me her photos look like they should be in a magazine. She gets a lot of high quality candid and posed shots so you get a significant amount of awesome photos from your wedding. I also love the pictures we got of our guests enjoying the wedding. It’s nice to have pictures of our friends and family from that day and seeing their enjoyment in photos. Next during our engagement shoot, she drove down to Columbus so we could get some special photos since the wedding would not take place there. Her and Jay made a trip out of it and they were a pleasure to work with. The weather was iffy a few days before but Julina kept in communication with me and offered lots of advice even on what outfits to wear. My fiance was not a huge fan of taking pictures but she made the evening enjoyable, even got great pictures with our dog! Finally on the wedding day, we had a small situation with our transportation and she was quick to suggest a fix which actually worked out better than planned! She was very calm and did not get in our way of the ceremony or reception but captured beautiful pictures. She was very quick to respond to my numerous emails and even after receiving the beautiful, timeless pictures has been amazing. The quality of pictures is breathtaking and I loved her style from the beginning. Something I can treasure for many years to come and will not look like a certain style that doesn't fit anymore. She takes stunning pictures and made our day go so smoothly. They weathered the winter cold to get the outdoor shots we wanted and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Any time I thought “oh I want a picture of this moment or with this person” Julina was already there poised and ready to take the shot. She and Jay make a great team and I love how they were able to capture moments from multiple angles because they worked together. The engagement session was one of the most fun experiences my husband and I have had. Listen - I’m super awkward in front of the camera/in general. Yes, she gives you different poses to take, but, I PROMISE you, they work. Trust me on this one. My photos were so *incredibly* beautiful.
The wedding? Where do I start? She makes sure you follow a timeline (so you’re not late for your ceremony!), but she’s so easy-going. She doesn’t bark orders and poses like I’ve seen at some weddings I’ve been in. If there’s something you want to try, she will do everything she can to make sure it happens.
Her photos evoke emotion, special moments, and little moments that you might have otherwise missed with “generic photographs.” I’ve had friends and family refer to some of our wedding photos as “fairy tale-like,” and “right out of a magazine.”
Oh, and she’s hilarious, which doesn’t hurt.
Her photos are shared with you within a short time, and they’re shared on an easy format, so you can view all of your photos over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Hands down, she is worth every single penny, and her photos are more than just memories. I will keep these photos and display them forever!

We had pretty terrible weather on our day- gray and rainy, but she still managed to capture beautiful outdoor photos with the help of umbrellas. We received so many compliments on them, so much so that my friend will be using her this summer because she was so impressed! I literally planned my wedding around their availability! BEST decision I made through the wedding planning process. I am an out of town bride, which added a level of complication, but you never would have known. Julina was nothing short of accommodating... even making time to come to town to shoot our engagement photos. She not only delivered perfect engagement photos, but sent the almost 2,000 amazing wedding photos within 2 weeks of our wedding. Talk about having it together...
Our wedding photos were EVERYTHING. The perfect mixture of stunning getting ready photos, perfectly posed portraits, to gorgeous candid photos. Although posed photos are important (which Julina does so beautifully) the candid photos hold the true joy.. She has an unbelievable eye for true joy and happiness. She honestly captured every moment and emotion of the entire day. When I look back at our wedding photos, as well as my sisters, I cannot help but smile and cry!!
And Jayson, what a perfect addition to Julinas talent. My husband is not the easiest person to photograph. He is often reluctant to get his photo taken... If he isn't complaining he is goofing off. Despite that.. Jayson got some truly amazing photos of the men getting ready. Jayson was also key in getting our large family photos. I tortured Julina and Jayson with 5 children ranging in ages 10 months to 8 years in our wedding party.. Jayson was essential in making the children laugh and smile.

to look like. To me, Finding the right photographer was one of the most important things. I had searched many websites, talked to many people and then came across Julina. Her pictures impressed me. Not only were her pictures gorgeous, but she also took the time to get every detail. Let's face it.. after that one day, that one day that goes extremely fast.. Pictures are the only thing you get to have to relive one of the happiest days of your life. After meeting with Julina one time, I was sold. I knew our wedding day would be in great hands. I can honestly say, I did not have one worry on my wedding day if she was getting the shots that were important to me. Sure enough, our wedding day came, I felt so comfortable in front of the camera. She would help us pose so it would look good for the picture and not awkward. It was fun and felt romantic! She was great with my bridal party and family. She was there to capture me getting ready with my mom, dad & grandmother (including photographing little details), for the ceremony and after to take family photos. On the reception day, Julina chose a beautiful spot for us to do "first-look" photos for about an hour before the reception began; she then arrived at the reception before us to capture those details, photographed us arriving, our first dance, cake cutting, etc. She didn't miss a moment! And the photographs are beautiful!! She captured things I missed and I love discovering those as I look through the photos. Both posed and candid shots throughout both days are amazing.
