Julina was amazing to work with! Through the uncertainty of the pandemic she was so understanding and flexible. She ended up taking pictures at our (much smaller) wedding this summer and the pictures are beautiful. Half the time I didn't even know she was there but she managed to capture so many perfect little moments!
A class act - our wedding day was perfect and like a dream, due largely in part to Julina's professionalism, fun personality, and excitement. That being said, she is NEVER off focus... she somehow managed to keep us completely on time, get all her shots, work seamlessly with our videographer. and still be present, happy and positive the ENTIRE day. I don't know how you do what you do, Julina - but I knew from the moment I e-mailed you that you were the person for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I simply can't say enough positive things about Julina. She and her husband Jay were a huge factor in our wedding day going so smoothly. Her knowledge of/experience with the greater Cleveland area is such a valuable resource when planning out your timeline and photo locations. She takes all the awkwardness out of getting your picture taken; the way she expertly guides you through poses makes for STUNNING photos that somehow look so effortless and natural. She also managed to keep our bridal party focused all day long, which was honestly a feat in itself. We feel so lucky that we have such incredible photographs to look back on and relive our perfect day. HIGHLY recommend (:
Julina has been such a delight to work with from start to finish. She was one of few photographers I reached out to because I really wanted someone who took an artistic approach to wedding photography. She immediately replied to my inquiry and we set up a phone call. She asked all the right questions finding out more about me and my fiance and what we were looking for. After narrowing down our search we still really wanted to meet Julina in person. She had us over for an appointment to meet her at her home/office (which is adorable btw). Meeting her in person and talking over all the details and getting to know her personality reassured us that she was our girl! Julina supplies you a ton of helpful information for planning and asked questions to nail down exactly what you wanted and how your day will go. With her experience and expertise she helped me put together a great day-of timeline that we followed almost exactly. While mentioning this I must also say her and her husband were wonderful to stay a little longer for us when we had an unexpected health issue arrive for my family at the reception. Her flexibility and attentiveness was so much appreciated. Julina also contacted me many months before our big day to let me know she was pregnant and due shortly after our wedding. To take every extra precaution she hired a 2nd photographer to be with her the day of at no extra cost to us. This was extremely smart and considerate of her just in case something happened --she was prepared! We knew she was going to be awesome but running around in 80+ degrees while very pregnant and having so much energy and creativity running through her ALL day solidified our thoughts on how amazing Julina is. Now on to the photos---BRAVO! These literally look like we stepped into an editorial photoshoot on location. Which is exactly what I wanted. I cannot wait to see more (we've only seen our sneak peek)--which she got to me within one week. She has just been incredible and we are so happy with our decision to work with her. Thank you Julina! I cannot stop staring at these photos. They make my heart so full and I know I will treasure them for the rest of my life! :)
I really can't say enough great things about Julina. She was incredibly organized and professional throughout the entire process, and with so many little details and things to think about leading up to the big day, it was so wonderful not to worry about photography. Julina arrived early the day of our wedding to get situated and brought along an assistant (free of charge) that helped everything run even more smoothly. She was directive when we needed it (with posing, etc) but not overly so, had creative ideas that turned out great, and had fun with us (she really "read the room" and was laughing and joking with us the whole day). Not to mention, she was SO speedy in getting our photos to us (a sneak peek within a few days of the wedding and the entire album TWO WEEKS after!) It was so much fun to relive all of the special moments (perfectly captured by Julina) when the day was still fresh, and to have photos available for thank you notes, etc in such a timely fashion. I could not recommend Julina more for a smooth, fun day and the best photos!
Julina has done weddings for a few couples in our family and she has done amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME. She made the engagement shoot super fun and the pictures were phenominal, so we knew we had a great photographer for our big day. On our wedding day, Julina and her husband came prepared and kept the whole day calm and ensured everything went smoothly. As the bride, I couldn’t thank her enough for making sure everything went well with the timeline and making sure we had tons of fun but also got the shots we needed. She also gives you guides to plan out your day which was a LIFE SAVER! She’s an expert so she’s a good resource to have when planning the details. I think the best part about Julina’s Marie photography is the pictures are beautiful and one of a kind. Every time I share a picture from our wedding, someone tells me her photos look like they should be in a magazine. She gets a lot of high quality candid and posed shots so you get a significant amount of awesome photos from your wedding. I also love the pictures we got of our guests enjoying the wedding. It’s nice to have pictures of our friends and family from that day and seeing their enjoyment in photos. I 110% recommend Julina Marie Photgraphy (she and her husband) for your wedding because you’re guaranteed awesome photographers who know what they’re doing and know how to keep the day on track, but also relaxed. We have too many amazing photos to even share which is not a problem by any means to us :) My Husband, friends, family and I loved Julina Marie Photography!!
Julina Marie Photography is so awesome! We used Julina for our engagement photos as well as for our wedding and we’re very pleased both times. She is super responsive and easy to converse with, so we had no issue getting all of our questions answered. She kept things moving for both our engagement and wedding photos, and was extremely easy to work by making us comfortable and providing excellent suggestions for composition. Punctuality, personality and professionalism with Julina Marie Photography was all so on point and more than we could have ever asked for or dreamt of for our wedding day photographer. The images that Julina captured from our engagement shoot to our wedding day will truly be cherished and adored forever and ever. Julina has an eye for beauty and detail. Julina helped my husband and I pose but at the same time captured images that look so natural and fluid. I have no idea how she produces such beauty but Julina sincerely has a gift that we feel blessed to have received. In addition, Julina provides all of her couples with a super helpful "Bridal Guide" that goes over ways to optimize to your big day. Julina was fantastic to work with from the first day we met! I drove up from Columbus to meet her and had a surprise guest in the meeting too, my mom! Julina was extremely sweet and friendly about her services and for what we wanted, was a great price. She made up feel at ease immediately. Next during our engagement shoot, she drove down to Columbus so we could get some special photos since the wedding would not take place there. Her and Jay made a trip out of it and they were a pleasure to work with. The weather was iffy a few days before but Julina kept in communication with me and offered lots of advice even on what outfits to wear. My fiance was not a huge fan of taking pictures but she made the evening enjoyable, even got great pictures with our dog! Finally on the wedding day, we had a small situation with our transportation and she was quick to suggest a fix which actually worked out better than planned! She was very calm and did not get in our way of the ceremony or reception but captured beautiful pictures. She was very quick to respond to my numerous emails and even after receiving the beautiful, timeless pictures has been amazing. The quality of pictures is breathtaking and I loved her style from the beginning. Something I can treasure for many years to come and will not look like a certain style that doesn't fit anymore. She takes stunning pictures and made our day go so smoothly. She helped me create the timeline for the day, arrived early on the wedding day and was such a breath of positivity which made the day that much better. She is phenomenal, you will love her. Everyone told me to spend enough on a great photographer to capture your day and she was a steal! You won't regret working with Julina : )
Julina and her husband Jay photographed my March 2018 wedding and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! They made the whole process leading up to the wedding so simple and gave us everything we needed to make sure things were organized for the day of and we got all the pictures we wanted to capture from our day. They truly went above and beyond on our wedding day! They weathered the winter cold to get the outdoor shots we wanted and made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Any time I thought “oh I want a picture of this moment or with this person” Julina was already there poised and ready to take the shot. She and Jay make a great team and I love how they were able to capture moments from multiple angles because they worked together. The pictures turned out beautifully and we are so happy with all the wonderful moments they captured. Julina also got our pictures to us in a very timely manner! I truly can’t say enough great things! We had such an awesome experience working with them!

Julina was absolutely amazing for our engagement and wedding pictures! She makes sure to get all those little details you miss on your busy wedding day and makes you looks amazing in the pictures. Even with our limited area to take photos for our wedding day due to rain she made it look as if we went all over for amazing locations. I highly recommend the engagement shoot with her, she makes you feel super comfortable in front of the camera with it even if you have never had professional photos done. Not to mention, she had our pictures ready for us as soon as we got back from the honeymoon. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
Booking a spectacular wedding photographer is one of the most important planning details of the big day and we are absolutely thrilled with our choice! Julina and Lauren shot our June wedding and did everything they could to make the day fun, organized, and special. We had so much fun working with them and the joy is evident in every single photo! Julina was also incredibly flexible and worked with us when certain aspects of the day had to be rearranged. I cannot say enough amazing things about Julina and her team, we LOVE them!!!
My husband and I are SO glad we booked Julina and Jay for our fall/winter Mohican engagement shoot and wedding day photography (7/21/18). They are both so sweet, very professional, and such a delightful to work with. They made us feel at ease during the whole wedding day, even when we were running a little behind on our timeline. My husband is not a big fan of getting his picture taken, but Julina and Jay made him feel so comfortable and not posed, and it DEFINITELY shows in our photos! Our sneak peek images on the blog thus far are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and it is clear that they are incredibly talented. We cannot express how much we love Julina! She photographed our wedding this past June and exceeded our expectations. She helped me put together our day of timeline and kept everything flowing and on time. She even jumped in with great
ideas on the day-of like a first look with my dad to make the most of every minute! She also did a great job blending in with the guests but capturing every single special moment. I’ve been to weddings where the photographer can be distracting but she has really mastered this. Also the quality of her photos are outstanding. They look like they belong in a magazine but still have that natural feel to them.

Julina and Jason did a fabulous job photographing our wedding! They were great to work with and extremely flexible and accommodating as we made changes due to the hot weather. We have only seen the sneak peak of the photos, but they are all beautiful and I can't wait to see the rest!
I wish I could adequately review and rate our experience with Julina, but I can’t. From the get-go, she is one of the easiest, yet most professional people to talk to. She is prompt and timely with all correspondence, and you don’t ever feel like you’re “just another client.” She takes time to get to know you and your fiancé.
The engagement session was one of the most fun experiences my husband and I have had. Listen - I’m super awkward in front of the camera/in general. Yes, she gives you different poses to take, but, I PROMISE you, they work. Trust me on this one. My photos were so *incredibly* beautiful.
The wedding? Where do I start? She makes sure you follow a timeline (so you’re not late for your ceremony!), but she’s so easy-going. She doesn’t bark orders and poses like I’ve seen at some weddings I’ve been in. If there’s something you want to try, she will do everything she can to make sure it happens.
Her photos evoke emotion, special moments, and little moments that you might have otherwise missed with “generic photographs.” I’ve had friends and family refer to some of our wedding photos as “fairy tale-like,” and “right out of a magazine.”
Oh, and she’s hilarious, which doesn’t hurt.
Her photos are shared with you within a short time, and they’re shared on an easy format, so you can view all of your photos over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Hands down, she is worth every single penny, and her photos are more than just memories. I will keep these photos and display them forever!
Julina and Jay were the absolute best wedding photographers we could have hoped for! Out of all my vendors, Julina was one of the only ones who responded promptly every single time to my emails/text messages. They were extremely professional and personable, worked very hard without being distracting, and were great about keeping us on schedule and making sure we got all the photos we wanted. This is all on top of the BEAUTIFUL photos that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives!
At the time of this review (10 days after our wedding) we haven't gotten our photos back, but I am absolutely SURE they will look awesome. Julina and Jay were awesome. Not only did Jay take awesome shots, but he helped me with my cufflinks, we could not figure out how to get them to stay put. Both Julina and Jay have perfect personalities for us. It was hot as all get out during our wedding and neither of them complained once. They made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Awesome. Just awesome!

Julina was incredible! We received so many compliments on both our fall engagement photos and our summer wedding photos. They are stunning! Julina was very professional and fun to work with. Absolutely AMAZING photographer. My husband and I got the package which included an engagement session as well as our wedding day. We could not have asked for anything more! Our engagement session was cut short due to a crazy storm but we still were able to get so many wonderful shots! Julina knows what she is doing, that's for sure! She is so sweet and accommodating. Even sent us a pair of movie tickets and a card with sweet words of advice a few weeks before the big day, reminding us to sit back and relax because the big day will come and go before we knew it. I have recommended Julina to so many brides and am confident she won't let them down. Thanks so much Julina!

I wish I could give more than five stars. Julina had an incredible eye for finding the pictures that perfectly embody the fun, joy, and love inherent in our wedding. Unbelievably candid, yet truly gorgeous shots of people as they truly are. I don't think I'll ever look better than I do in our wedding and engagement photos. Julina was a true professional when it came to organizing our family for photographs. The whole process of family pictures was fun, efficient, and fast. The pictures that came back were perfect.
Julina did an incredible job on our wedding! The day of the wedding was the first time I met her in person (I live out of town) but from the very first hug she made me feel comfortable with her! We absolutely loved shooting with her and had so much fun. The photos are breathtaking. They are so much more than I could have ever dreamed. She captured every moment and really allowed you to feel the love and joy of the day. I laughed and cried while looking at them. I am so excited that we are moving back to Ohio so that she can be our family photographer to help us document our life together. Since the wedding I have had such a difficult time choosing my album because I love them all! You should absolutely have Julina as your photographer, it should be the easiest decision of your wedding.
Julina was SPECTACULAR and that's coming from a photographer myself! She was definitely born for this. Not only is she incredibly talented, but her positivity, bubbly attitude, and patience made the wedding day so much easier given all the stress, heat, and long hours. Picture turn around was very quick, only a few weeks.

This review is way overdue, and even though almost 2 years have gone by, I wanted to be sure to write a well-deserved glowing review for Julina! I highly recommend her. She's very personable and easy to work with, responsive, and was masterful at keeping the bridal party moving and focused on getting great pictures. We had pretty terrible weather on our day- gray and rainy, but she still managed to capture beautiful outdoor photos with the help of umbrellas. We received so many compliments on them, so much so that my friend will be using her this summer because she was so impressed! She and her husband Jason (who helped photograph the ceremony earlier in the day) caught some great candid shots of me and my husband which truly captured the raw emotion we were feeling throughout the day. All this to say- book Julina!
I would highly reccomend Julina to everyone! She was so easy to work with and put us at ease with every step of the process. She took the time to get to know us and what we liked. She is a true artist and picked out the pefect spots for our portraits. I honestly can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with her! Julina and Jayson-- where do I even start??? I first met this photographer duo when they photographed my sisters wedding 3 years ago. After seeing the photos, I knew that when I got married they are who I want to photograph it! The night I got engaged (after a few glasses of champagne) I texted Julina to see when they were available for the next summer. I literally planned my wedding around their availability! BEST decision I made through the wedding planning process. I am an out of town bride, which added a level of complication, but you never would have known. Julina was nothing short of accommodating... even making time to come to town to shoot our engagement photos. She not only delivered perfect engagement photos, but sent the almost 2,000 amazing wedding photos within 2 weeks of our wedding. Talk about having it together...
Our wedding photos were EVERYTHING. The perfect mixture of stunning getting ready photos, perfectly posed portraits, to gorgeous candid photos. Although posed photos are important (which Julina does so beautifully) the candid photos hold the true joy.. She has an unbelievable eye for true joy and happiness. She honestly captured every moment and emotion of the entire day. When I look back at our wedding photos, as well as my sisters, I cannot help but smile and cry!!
And Jayson, what a perfect addition to Julinas talent. My husband is not the easiest person to photograph. He is often reluctant to get his photo taken... If he isn't complaining he is goofing off. Despite that.. Jayson got some truly amazing photos of the men getting ready. Jayson was also key in getting our large family photos. I tortured Julina and Jayson with 5 children ranging in ages 10 months to 8 years in our wedding party.. Jayson was essential in making the children laugh and smile.
If you are looking for the best wedding photographers... Look no further. Julina and Jayson are positive, organized, experienced, and talented. I would recommend them to anyone 10 times over.
Julina and her husband were absolutely amazing. The images they created were better than I ever could imagined. I definitely recommend getting the package with the two photographers. Her husband Jay was able to capture wonderful photos of my husband getting ready, while Julina captured the ones of the bridal party. Julina is a talented and wonderful photographer and the images she creates are truly breathtaking! I'm sure most brides can relate. While planning our wedding I would get anxiety over if I booked the right people or venue. We all have an image on what we would like our wedding to look like. To me, Finding the right photographer was one of the most important things. I had searched many websites, talked to many people and then came across Julina. Her pictures impressed me. Not only were her pictures gorgeous, but she also took the time to get every detail. Let's face it.. after that one day, that one day that goes extremely fast.. Pictures are the only thing you get to have to relive one of the happiest days of your life. After meeting with Julina one time, I was sold. I knew our wedding day would be in great hands. I can honestly say, I did not have one worry on my wedding day if she was getting the shots that were important to me. Sure enough, our wedding day came, I felt so comfortable in front of the camera. She would help us pose so it would look good for the picture and not awkward. It was fun and felt romantic! She was great with my bridal party and family. She was open to suggestions and willing to try anything. What a relief! I seriously only have good things to say. Another perk. She was very quick to edit and get our pictures back to us. It was a couple weeks when I first saw them. Not only were Tony and I blown away, but everyone who has seen them, goes on and on about how beautiful they are. They are truly perfect. It's hard not to smile everytime I go through them. You won't be disappointed if you book Julina. I am so happy with our results.

Dear Cleveland brides looking for a wedding photographer- please do yourself a favor and book with Julina! She is simply amazing and our wedding photos are absolutely perfect. Everything I imagined them to be, and then some! Julina is super easy to work with, and it was very evident that she loves her job. Which is something that you want in a photographer. We had 12 in our bridal party and the good majority of them commented on how great she was. Julina has such a natural talent and creativity for each photo that she takes. She is fun, gives great advice, and I can't imagine us having a better photographer. We are so grateful to have had such an amazing wedding day, and Julina helped make that happen.

Then on our wedding day she was so organized and made everyone feel at ease. I was not a bride who had a hundred pinterest photos that I wanted to copy so I just let her and Jay do their thing. I'm so glad we did because every picture came out so amazing. Months later I'm still getting compliments on how beautiful the pictures were. They kept everyone laughing during the process as well which really shows through in the pictures. I also loved that she stayed the entire night taking pictures of guests dancing. She even made our last dance pictures (when we were a little disheveled from a night of dancing) look beautiful. I highly highly recommend Julina for your pictures and adding her husband Jay!!

I honestly don't know where to begin... We fell in love with Julina and Jay the moment we met them! Julina quickly became more than just our photographer, but our friend. We had such a blast during our engagement photo session and everyone, including us, loved every single photo! She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and is the friendliest person you will ever meet! She doubled as our wedding planner on the day of our wedding, making sure we were always on schedule! We had a large and rather rowdy bridal party, and she did an amazing job making sure everyone was exactly where they were supposed to be. Jay hung with the guys and got some really great shots the morning of! We got our photos back within 2 WEEKS and cannot stop gushing over them! She went above and beyond in everything she did, and it really does show in the end result. We love Julina and highly recommend her to every couple looking for photos :)

They are both very sweet, and make your wedding experiences so much fun. The photos they have given us from our engagement photos and our wedding photos are those we will treasure for a life time. Julina is INCREDIBLE! Not only is she an amazing photographer but Julina is so fun to be with. I was bummed that it was raining on my wedding day, but Julina was quick to reassure me that she can work with anything, plus she "had ordered this day just for me". :) Leading up to the wedding day, Julina was beyond helpful. She answered my many, many questions, was honest with different suggestions or ideas I had, was so quick to respond, along with being incredibly positive through the whole thing. Even during my wedding and reception, Julina was the one I went to if I had questions about timing or how best to handle things. She was so patient and helpful from the littlest things to the biggest. Julina is just the real deal. I recommend Julina to anyone and everyone. She has great packages, affordable pricing, and captures every special moment of your day in such a beautiful way! I am so thankful for Julina and her team for being apart of my amazing day!

Julina did a great job in capturing our wedding and engagement photos! She was very easy to get ahold of during the entire planning process! Since my husband and I live out of town, she was very accommodating when it came to making arrangements for our engagement photos! Her website listed an hour long engagement session included in the wedding package, but she stuck around for almost 2 full hours photographing us! We couldn't be happier with how our engagement photos turned out! Julina was quick in getting back to us with our wedding photos (less than 1 month)! She took so many great photos throughout our day that it will be incredibly difficult to pick our favorites for our wedding album as well as the ones we give to our parents. She really knows how to capture the special moments! During our engagement photos and wedding pictures, my husband and I never felt like she was the photographer, but instead a friend! She was always nice and professional, but never to the point of feeling uncomfortable! She knew how to make us feel at ease! Julina is definitely someone that gets high recommendations! Julina is awesome! Our wedding was unique in that our ceremony was one day (small, intimate with only our immediate family) and our reception another day (175 family members and friends)...Julina worked with us to ensure she wouldn't miss any special moments between the two days. She was there to capture me getting ready with my mom, dad & grandmother (including photographing little details), for the ceremony and after to take family photos. On the reception day, Julina chose a beautiful spot for us to do "first-look" photos for about an hour before the reception began; she then arrived at the reception before us to capture those details, photographed us arriving, our first dance, cake cutting, etc. She didn't miss a moment! And the photographs are beautiful!! She captured things I missed and I love discovering those as I look through the photos. Both posed and candid shots throughout both days are amazing. I couldn't have asked for more!! Julina is professional, considers details and anticipates issues so you don't have to, and is so friendly while also keeping everyone in line! Julina was absolutely amazing!! She was fun, made us laugh and most importantly took beautiful pictures. We were nervous going into taking pictures and she completely put us at ease. She gave us enough direction that we felt comfortable without having every picture look too posed. Please look no further for a photographer. Julina is absolutely the best. I had a very specific desire for the feel for our photography and when I described what I was hoping for in wedding and engagement photos she captured it perfectly. She also is extremely kind, easy to work with, and her pricing is incredibly generous considering her talent and the quality and quantity of photos! I am a camera shy person, but she makes you feel so relaxed and taking pictures with her was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. I would not have wanted anyone else to capture our special day.

Honestly, when we began looking for a wedding photographer, I naturally assumed we would end up using the local photographer everyone else was using. When that other photographer forgot about our phone appointment, I chose to take it as a sign there was someone else out there which would be a better photographer for our wedding day. Many research hours later, we came across Julina. Just look at her blog - her amazing photographs speak for themselves. In addition to being so talented, she is very easy going and just an absolute delight to be around. For both our engagement session and our wedding portraits, she posed us in all sorts of positions and every single one turned out breathtaking. Some positions might feel a little unnatural - but trust her! Her husband, Jayson, was so sweet and is a talented photographer as well! They had never been to the venues at which we held our ceremony, reception, or bridal party portraits; however, wherever she goes, Julina finds the best lighting and works with it. On the wedding day there was no time wasted acquainting herself with the area, she could just quickly tell where the best pictures would be captured. During the actual ceremony and the reception, we didn't even notice her and Jayson taking photos, but they captured shots from every single angle! Less than one week later she had a preview of the wedding photos for us. Wow - they're simply amazing and we are so excited to see how the rest of them turned out. Julina and Jayson made our day so wonderful and I don't think we could ever say enough good things about them or thank them enough!
Julina was absolutely amazing! We were so happy with her way of going about things from the engagement pictures to the wedding photos! She clearly loves what she does and is very very talented at at it. We could not have asked for a better photographer and definitely hope to return to her with further family Portraits! Julina and her husband Jay were the absolute best on my wedding day! We had some weather issues and unbeknownst to me she had booked a place to take indoor pictures the day before which totally saved the day. Her and Jay were fun and relaxed the whole time which allowed me to stay stress free throughout the day. At one point Jay even ran back to our party bus to get umbrellas for everyone since it had started down pouring. Julina comes up with such creative shots and she knows how to make everyone feel comfortable. She also knows how to take charge of the situation so you get the pictures you want in a quick time period. I honestly could not have been happier with my pictures and my experience with Julina and Jay on my wedding day. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!
Julina photographed our wedding on 7/3/15. I have never written a review for anything or anyone-but Julina warrants such high praise I couldn't help myself! From the first time I spoke with her she was easy going, helpful, cheerful, and just fun to chat with. She genuinely seemed interested in making sure her style would match my vision for my wedding day. Once we hired her the professionalism and enthusiasm didn't stop :) She responded quickly to my ridiculous amount of emails. She helped me think about what shots were important to me and what locations would work. I have only seen a handful of the photos from our big day and they made my jaw drop. They are beyond stunning. She is a genius. She quickly eyes an area to find the best lighting and poses, but gives you enough room to be you and look natural. I loved working with her and sharing our wedding day with her, and so did my husband. Julina is absolutely phenomenal and I will be recommending her to anyone and everyone!!

I was so anxious to see how she would capture our wedding day. May 2015, as expected she blew my mind with her amazing talent. Our photos couldn't have turned out more beautiful. Julina was amazing to work with! The pictures turned out beautifully. We came from out of town to Ohio to get married, we had only met over a skype interview once. We met the Wednesday before the wedding and did a few quick engagement pictures, mostly so that we could get comfortable getting our pictures taken. She has this way of making you look great when you feel like you look very awkward. She will bend over backwards to get the perfect shot for you, even if that means crawling through the mud in a creek. She was very timely and professional! I would recommend her to anyone!
My new husband and I are so happy that we chose Julina as our wedding photographer. When searching for someone, I kept comparing them all to her (from what I saw on theknot) and knew my decision quickly. Julina did an excellent job with our engagement session and on our wedding day. My bridesmaids raved about how they loved the photos she was taking and how nice she was. Her husband Jay joined for a few hours on the wedding day as the second shooter and they work together perfectly. We received our pictures (both engagement and wedding) about a week after taking each one...I was shocked at how fast it was! The wedding photos are absolutely beautiful and Julina took the time to find the right settings to capture amazing moments. I love that all the pictures are in one app/website and will remain so for 10 years...makes it very easy to share. Rates were very reasonable when compared to other photographers at her level. My husband and I hired Julina for our wedding which was on October 4, 2014. We hired her a little more than a year in advance and we are so happy we did - she books up fast! Julina came highly recommended by one of our friends who was a bridesmaid in a wedding that she shot and loved the pictures and her professionalism.
When we emailed Julina, we were able to quickly set up an appointment to talk about our wedding day. She and her husband (Jay - who is also a photographer) welcomed us to their home office in Avon, Ohio. Immediately, we knew we would be a good fit just because of how personable they were. They didn't feel like a "business" (even though they are - and an awesome one!), they felt more like family. They answered all of our questions and made us feel extremely comfortable. We booked them on the spot.
We did our engagement pictures several months later (they were included in our package) and Julina met us at Lakewood Park during sunset. Throughout the process, she was so fun and professional and gave us so many ideas. She really knows her stuff. The images were even better than I imagined!
Our wedding day on October 4, 2014 was amazing. We hired Julina for the full day and also we hired Jay as a secondary photographer who was there for about two hours to take pictures of the groomsman prior to the service. Julina showed up 15 minutes early to where I was getting ready and was immediately in "photographer mode." Throughout the entire day, she made me, my wedding party, and our family feel at ease. Her ideas were spot on and her friendliness and excitement was contagious.
The pictures from our wedding day are incredible. I honestly can't stop staring at them and can't decide which ones to print out to post all over our walls :-) I am eternally grateful for them and to have such wonderful memories of our day. This won't be the last time we work with Julina - that's for sure. I see many more sessions and beautiful images in the future.

Julina and Jay photographed my wedding in June of 2013. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. Julina is very warm, friendly, and enthusiastic about what she does. She was very easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. She arrived around 10am on my wedding day and both her and Jay went above and beyond all day to make sure we had all the photos we could ever want or need without being overbearing or intrusive. Her style is more 'documentary/candids' -- which I loved. We of course made time for all the obligatory family/group shots -- very efficiently I might add! I never sensed any stress from her at all the entire day and they stayed right up until the end of the reception, taking photos the whole time. We had over 2,000 digital images of the day and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. She sent a cute little perfectly wrapped package with a CD and zip drive of all our photos and even included a little gift as well. I would definitely recommend her to others. Hope this helps!

Julina has a wonderful eye for lighting and composition. Our photos, from the wedding decor/accessories to the posed shots to the candids, were exceptional. They were magazine quality images and not a detail went unphotographed!

We shot our engagement pictures with Julina last week. We'd arrived a little late because my hair appointment had gone over, and we'd gotten stuck in traffic. Julina had taken the time between her arrival and ours to meet the groom's parents (we were shooting on their property) and to scope out where she wanted to take pictures. That really put my mind at ease, because when we got there behind schedule, we wasted no time at all as she already had a plan. She worked with us, calmed us down, made us laugh, and really made us feel special. She continued taking photos until the sun had almost set, adjusting to the lighting and the settings quickly and easily. It really put me at ease for how things will go on the big day. I'm expecting smooth sailing in the photography department.
If the pictures come out as good as I'm hoping they will, she'll be an all around 5 stars!
Julina and her husband photographed my wedding this past summer. Not only did they do an amazing job, but the pictures tuned out amazingly!! I chose Julina and Jay to work with for our wedding day- and they were amazing! They were the very first vendor I booked, and totally set the mood for my whole wedding planning experience. On top of their amazing photography skills, they are fun, energetic and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They went out of their way to make sure they got every photo that was one my list including a few snaps of me and my puppy. Julina also helped keep me motivated and EXCITED before the wedding- she sent us a beautiful bride to be kit with a Martha Stewart mag, planning book, pens, and other goodies, sent movie tickets to us about a month before the wedding to encourage a "stress-free " date night, and just today, I received the most beautiful card and cute container for the USB of all my photos.
Julina and Jay are more than just photographers- they were people wranglers for our HUGE (sometimes drunk and rowdy) bridal party and family, they were makeup toucher-uppers, emotional support, and above all else, have etched a place in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful and happy to have chosen people as caring and wonderful as they are to capture what has so far been the most wonderful day of our lives. I found Julina when searching for NEO photographers and what a great find! Not only is Julina an incredible photographer, she is very personable and great to work with. I hate having my picture taken, but Julina made the process so easy and fun. She was not pushy and welcomed any idea I had, plus she provides you with many recommendations. My husband and I had our engagement pictures done by Julina and we received so many compliments! Her work keeps getting better and better! You can choose the option to have her husband as a second photographer which works out great because he can stay with the guys on the big day and capture those moments they have as well. Julina answered all the questions I had and even provided me with so much information before the wedding to help me know how to plan the day. It was so helpful. I definitely recommend Julina to any bride!!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say. Both our engagement and wedding pictures are just breathtaking. It's clear she loves what she does and just made our experience so fun! My husband was nervous about engagement photos and by the time we were done, he was a posing pro. We both loved how easy it is to talk her and she makes you feel comfortable which is big thing because you may feel awkward in a pose but the picture comes out amazing. We already plan on being returning customers for when the time comes for kids!
