About this vendor
I'm Julianne, a wedding photographer with a passion for capturing authentic, heartfelt moments. Based in Durham, North Carolina, I love working with couples from all walks of life to create images that feel genuine and timeless. My approach is simple: keep things relaxed, authentic, and as stress-free as possible. I know that being in front of the camera can sometimes feel a bit intimidating (trust me, I've been there!). That's why my goal is to make you feel comfortable and to capture those in-between moments that truly tell your story.
My style leans toward natural, candid photography, with an emphasis on capturing the connection between you and your partner. I'm not about stiff poses or forced smiles. Instead, I'll guide you in a way that feels easy and fun, letting you be yourselves so your personality shines through. Whether it's a soft glance, a burst of laughter, or a quiet moment just between the two of you, those are the memories I'm here to document. I want you to look back on your photos and feel every moment just as it was.
As an LGBTQ+ photographer, I'm proud to serve all couples, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community. Love is love, and it's my honor to work with couples who want to celebrate their love story in an open and inclusive environment. I believe that everyone deserves wedding photos that reflect their true selves and their unique love. I understand the importance of finding a photographer who not only celebrates who you are but also ensures that you feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
My wedding packages are straightforward, customizable, and designed to fit a variety of needs, whether you're planning a large celebration or a more intimate gathering. I'm here to support you every step of the way, from planning and preparation to the day-of details. If you're looking for a photographer who cares about making you feel comfortable, values authenticity, and truly wants to tell your story as you are, I'd love to connect. Let's capture the moments that matter most in a way that feels true to you. I'm here for you.

Julianne is absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a photographer to make your wedding day absolutely perfect, she is the one! She put so much care and attention into our big d...
ay. She is professional, supportive, and so talented! From our first meeting, she made it clear that she was there for us and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted. On the wedding day, she was kind and warm, but also able to direct everyone and keep us on schedule.
The photos she delivered were BEAUTIFUL! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to remember our big day.
We cannot recommend Julianne highly enough! She exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are so grateful for the beautiful memories she preserved for us. We truly don’t have enough positive words to say about our experience with Julianne, and our wedding would not have been the same without her!
We are so glad to have chosen Julianne as our wedding photographer! From the booking process, to engagement photos and our wedding day, she was a pleasure to work with. She heard o...
ur ideas and brought them to life + had ideas for photos that we didn't even know were possible, without interrupting the natural flow of the day. I also appreciate how smoothly she wrangled our large families for family portraits. Her sense of humor and approachable nature made a big impact on our day.
Cannot recommend her enough!
Julianne’s thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and amazing attitude blew us away on our wedding day. Leading up to our big day she sent us some unexpected gifts in the mail, whic...
h was a wonderful surprise. We can safely say that she was the best photographer for us on our big day. She was there for much more than photos. Whether it was helping us find things in the chaos of the bridal suite or coming up with a new game plan when we realize our sunset shoot couldn’t happen. Her and her assistant thought of everything to make us as comfortable as possible during our photos. We had a slight bug situation, but the bug spray they brought helped so much. Julianne has a way of making everyone feel comfortable when she’s capturing these special moments. She was even able to bring a smile to my camera shy husbands face consistently throughout the day. She was also able to hype up our wedding party when needed to get the perfect shot. Julianne stayed longer than planned to capture some special moments at our reception, which meant the world to us. She is such a kind and sweet person, who is literally willing to do whatever she needs to help the day run smoothly. One of the best decisions we made when planning was hiring her as our wedding photographer. If you get the opportunity to work with Julianne, trust me you will not regret it. She just might save the day!
