Owner MJ Farb, known professionally as DJMJ, has always had an interest in event productions while growing up in Orlando. provide him with all the music choices and other information he would need. He also helped us plan out the timeline of events and offered recommendations based on his past experiences. On the day of, he made sure the whole event ran smoothly by giving my husband and I 5-10 minute warnings before parent dances, the cake cutting, and other events and verifying that we were still on board with that timeline.
We also ended up hiring MJ to be our officiant as well, and he gave us the option to use one of his pre-written ceremony scripts, adujst the scripts to us, or write our own. He had multiple options ranging from super religious to not religious at all, which really allowed us to customize it to us.
I will recommend MJ to eveyone I know who's planning a wedding in Central Florida.

nce so this was an extremely important vendor for my wedding day. I did my research and was between two DJ's -I highly suggest having some questions prepared prior to your first meeting to ask to your potential DJ to make sure it is a good fit. After meeting, there was a clear and obvious choice. Some reasons that I chose MJ over other vendors is because he is very reasonably priced, ***you get MJ (not some random DJ from the company who you have never met), and you can tell that MJ is not only professional but enthusiastic and loves what he does. MJ did a great mashup for us for our first dance song where we combined three songs into one-we gave this to him on short notice and no questions asked he said he could do it and make it happen, it turned out just how we wanted it to. Also I really appreciated that he respected me and my husbands wishes on the wedding day- we had a guest who wanted to rap a song and MJ made sure that both me and my husband were okay with this happening. Make sure you add the music that you want to the portal and meet with MJ pre-wedding to go over music choices/recommendations. We had a wide range of music from old school rock, 80/90s, rap, country, and pop-I was concerned with the range of music but MJ not only made it flow really well but played all songs we wanted and did such a great job with making sure our guests stayed out on the dance floor. We added an extra hour to our event and pretty much from after dinner to our reception ending we had guests out on the dance floor. We used up-lighting for our reception space at Casa Feliz which was gorgeous. Lastly, I highly recommend doing a last dance with just you and your husband. We did the private last dance as our guests were lining up for an exit and it was the best way to end the night. I highly recommend DJ MJ for your wedding/event!!!

ide awesome special effects like walking on a cloud if you want a dreamy first dance, uplights to help enhance the room, and cold sparks for drama and party effects. We did the uplights and the cold sparks and IT WAS WORTH IT!! Those effects were show stopping and all the guests complimented and loved how fun it looked. They also offer a few different photo booth options and gave us a really sweet book with all our guest photos/notes. They also provided digital copies of all the photos. That was a super sweet touch.
Mj was super communicative throughout the whole process. He responds promptly and professionally and is just a genuinely cool guy who wants your wedding to be fun and great. He offered a lot of fantastic suggestions and some of my guests even complimented how they liked the flow of our wedding (all suggestions that came from MJ and Dan).
The Junction 88 online portal is super easy to use and has helpful info for planning. There are different forms to fill out and they have access to almost every song you could want for a wedding. They filled in with expertise where we needed help but also let us express our own vision and music choices. They do a great job of listening and executing for a wonderful wedding.
Almost all of our vendors had worked with Junction 88 and they all spoke very highly of the team and after the wedding I can see why. They are truly an amazing team of talented professionals who made our wedding the best damn day of our lives. They would be great for any event, not just a wedding. Hire them and you will not regret it!!

MJ is so friendly, knowledgeable about his craft and just an overall great guy. He definitely wants to ensure that every client is beyond happy with their big day. I loved his online portal for putting together the different pieces of the ceremony and reception. It was super helpful for visualizing how the evening would flow. MJ was always an email or text away from offering advice and answering any questions we had. Everything about the ceremony and reception was perfect and I had guests asking for a copy of the playlist after the wedding. You will not be disappointed with his upgraded lighting package or the photobooth he offers - book it if you can! I also appreciated that even though I selected my vendors well over 1.5 years in advance that MJ treated us as if we were getting married next week and that we were the most important clients he had. I only wish that the night never ended because everything was perfect.

We had a few e-meetings, and I filled out their incredibly detailed website (they take the details SO seriously and I love it), and other than me frantically sending a few emails requesting some last-minute song requests a couple days before the wedding, that was all they needed. On the day, Dan was wonderful – the music was perfect in every way, and he played every song we asked for, mixing my big band/jazz standards with my husband's rock and folk seamlessly, and handled the crowd beautifully. He was always pleasant to communicate with, responded timely and gave great information, and had great ideas on how to make our wedding reflect our personalities. We had 90 guests and every person we spoke to could not get over how incredible MJ was, including one guest who used to be a wedding DJ (so he must’ve known his stuff!). The music was perfect, the lighting was gorgeous, and he was a wonderful officiant. I would recommend MJ and Junction 88 Productions a thousand times over.

That spoke volumes to us about MJ’s character and desire to help people throw an awesome wedding party! His trivia game on our cellphones was very popular. The photo booth option was busy all evening with a encouraging attendant. Photo strips were guest favors and a copy of each went into the bride & groom’s guestbook. His uplighting created the cozy ambiance for our tropical wedding, spotlighted our newlyweds and the lovely cake.
