They really do have an eye for the perfect areas to shoot, and make you feel comfortable doing so! My now husband and I were nervous as heck to have our pictures taken. We had our share of hiccups throughout the day but Katie pivoted splendidly and kept us on track as much as she could. Our sneak peaks are so beautiful and we cannot wait to see the rest. PLUS Dev and I are already talking about doing a “take two” session with her to redress up for a sunset since it was pretty mild for us the day of. Yet another thing she was able to adjust to, pulling out some of her lighting and giving us some golden glow as much as she could! I can’t give Katie enough love for the work she produces, how she interacts with her clients, and how inclusive she is to all peoples. My spouse and I are really not people who like to be in front of a camera, but we felt so relaxed and happy that I didn’t even notice the camera was there! We had a great time working with them, and have already received several compliments on our preview pictures (which were posted just one day after the wedding!!). In addition to being a great team to work with, we were super impressed with how many pictures they were able to get in such a short amount of time! We requested portraits and ceremony photos, but also got plenty of detail shots and candids of our guests during the cocktail hour, which was really amazing. and Matt were able to capture the happiest day of our lives. Ever since we booked Katie for our engagement photos she has been nothing other than amazing and has gone way above and beyond for us. From giving us ideas for different locations to shoot our engagement session, to recreating all of the photos we found online, to being so available to talk to us whenever we had any questions at all. Katie and Matt are the real deal! We never would have expected to be so comfortable and relaxed as we were the center of attention (totally not our style) and it really shows in the photos as we could not stop laughing with them as we took our photos at the most amazing places. They were able to capture everything from sunrise photos at 5 in the morning to photos of us in caves, on cliffs overlooking the ocean, us on the beach, and in the ocean with a drone! Who else is going to find photographers to get up at 5 in the morning to take photos as your swim around in the ocean to get drone photos? Every picture looks stunning and looks like it could be on the front cover of wedding and travel magazines. They made our wedding so much more fun and relaxed than we could have ever imagined. They are the best hands down and we will never recommend anyone other than Katie and Matt to everyone who asks.

The day of the wedding her and her husband made us feel comfortable and you could hardly tell they were there. We also asked Katie to edit a few images more than expected and she didn’t even think twice before accepting. I highly recommend Katie not only for her stunning images and beautiful work, but for the experience you get from knowing her. She will truly make you day one to remember. She is willing to do anything for the image of your dreams. She was stung by a bee and climbed through massive spider webs to capture our photos and she didn’t complain once.

We never would have had the amazing experience we had nor gotten back such amazing images if we would have stuck with our first photographer. c or love pictures but we were SO happy with how she captured our day. Our pictures show our raw, real smiles which we love so much! Katie was also very helpful with helping up set up our wedding day with what order to do things and even helped us slow down at times to take it all in. We had about 50 pictures back within less than 48 hours and then all of our HUGE gallery back within about a month! Thank you Katie for making our day so great as well as capturing the BEST moments!!!

Katie wasn’t pushy but kept us on track and even sensed when we needed a few minutes out of the spotlight to ourselves. I love how she encouraged a complimentary engagement session to help us get to know her and her camera before the wedding day. She was willing to travel anywhere and didn’t make us feel rushed. She even helped us pick out outfits beforehand—didn’t just give recommendations but provided actual feedback. Katie also offers boudoir shoots for her brides and, again, has the most gentle, non-judgmental approach. She designs gorgeous albums that look like a magazine and nothing like a generic wedding album. Katie is very efficient, providing a highlight photo the day of the wedding, 50+ previews the day after, and the full gallery about 4 weeks later. Her experience as a web developer makes the photos so easy to access. Katie is extremely organized and a great communicator. She accommodated our first meeting from out of town via FaceTime and arranged payment through Honeybook. Katie even helped us design our wedding day timeline (in between all the other weddings she was working on!) I have no suggestions for how Katie could improve because she was incredible!
