a great gut check throughout the planning process. My day-of coordinator, Kelsey, was absolutely incredible—so kind, hardworking, and thoughtful. She brought my vision to life beautifully and went above and beyond before and after the wedding to make sure I felt supported and cared for. That said, I do want to share a few insights for brides considering this team. I booked them for day-of coordination (planning about a month out, vendor comms..etc), and while I didn’t expect full-service planning, I did manage nearly all vendor communication, logistics, and prep documents myself. That wasn’t a problem in itself, but it’s important to go in with very clear expectations. I found that the contract was referenced when I had small requests—like help steaming linens or packing decor—were met with pushback or added fees. One example: I received an email during my wedding week quoting a cost for end-of-night decor support without first requesting a photo or breakdown of the items involved. They have contract language that says they'll help with items that will fit in a car. I created a highly detailed powerpoint outlining event layout, decor placement and timing. However, it was described as overwhelming—which felt both unfair and disappointing. I was told that the lead on my wedding was feeling overwhelmed and that she was managing a high volume of weddings/events. While I absolutely empathize with that, I’m was also navigating one of the most stressful months of my life. In this moment, I needed the team to feel steady and reassuring—not to share their stress with me. There were also a few moments on the day that I felt should have been caught and corrected by the team, such as incorrect linens on high-top tables, the catering team setting up in our first-look location, and the bar being placed in the wrong spot. While each team member is lovely, hardworking, and did a nice job in many areas, the experience lacked the level of support I expected. I understand contracts are there for a reason, but I felt my requests were reasonable and was disappointed in how things were handled by the owner. If you’re considering this team, I’d recommend communicating expectations early and ensuring the contract reflects the kind of support you truly need.
