Just Around the Corner Studio is a one-of-a-kind art studio in Merriam, KS, that offers activities for pre-wedding celebrations. Our space can entertain 10 adults in a cozy studio. This is the perfect place to create memories as you come together to celebrate this special time.
Our signature “Friendship Art Connections Painting” offers pre-drawn canvases in your choice of a connected design…like a “Best Friend Necklace”. This is perfect for the bridal party as well as for bridal showers.
A group favorite is our Wine Glass Painting Parties! Fun for a shower or bachelorette party, each participant paints 2 wine glasses. Fun, easy to do, and beautiful to have!
We also offer “Paint Your Partner” classes. This fun-filled class is guaranteed to bring laughter and connection while your party draws and paints another participant.
For a beautiful reminder of your wedding day, a watercolor of you and your new spouse is placed over the words from the first dance song, vows, or something of your choosing. Different-sized framed options are available.

I am a retired elementary teacher of 22 years who always incorporated art within classroom teaching. I believe strongly that art and learning go hand in hand and love to share my passion for creating with others!
I am a mom, stepmom, and grandmother. My husband, Mike, and I enjoy live music, gardening, and road trips to visit family. I grew up in the KC area and am a proud Kansan who enjoys all the arts KC has to offer.
My art party business brings me such great joy to help others celebrate the connections they hold near and dear to their hearts by making art together. I would love to help you during this time of family and friends in a unique way to make a lifetime memory!
