Jess created a gorgeous travel themed cake and cookies for my daughter's bridal shower. They not only looked good, but tasted delicious! I can’t say enough about how much they added to the occasion to make it extra special. And Jess was an absolute pleasure to work with from the start. I truly appreciated her kindness, talent, and artistry!

Jessica was such a pleasure to work with, she was super kind and informative through the process. We found her via Wedding Wire and used her for our April Bridal Shower and July Wedding. Our friends and family were so impressed by her cakes and cookies and cake pops, they have turned to her as well. My family and I have been cannoli cake snobs growing up and by far now she has established making our favorite cannoli cake ever. She does not disappoint. I didn't even get to eat actual food at my wedding but I will say that I gladly was able to enjoy my cake :) Thank you Jessica!!

Jess was so flexible and easy to work with. We picked up our tasting in the fall and chose our cake with cupcakes, which came out beautiful and delicious.

We came across Jess after a referral from a nearby bakery, and after searching for a cake vendor for months to no avail. From the second we met Jess, we knew she was everything we were looking for! Talented, responsive, professional and collaborative - and she makes a beautiful and DELICIOUS cake!! Her flavors and filling go beyond the norm, and we were obsessed with the White Chocolate Raspberry we chose with a buttercream frosting. I also loved a few other flavors like the birthday cake, but the White Choc Raspberry was a clear winner and also a hit with the guests. We'd 100% work with Jess again and are so glad we found her!

I used Jess for my sons Baptism and she was so easy and great to work with. She responded to her emails so quickly and made sure we were on the exact same page for the cake design. The cake and cookies were absolutely beautiful and SO DELICIOUS. The cookies were soft and delicious and the cake was so good. Everyone was talking about it. I highly recommend Just Desserts By Jess for any of your special occasions. You won’t regret it!

Just Desserts came recommended by the event manager at my baby shower venue (Townhouse Greenwich). Jess was easy to book, coordinate with, and had fair pricing. She delivered a beautiful two-tier travel theme cake based on an inspiration photo I provided her from pinterest. She also provided red velvet cupcakes, and gorgeous white and gold macaroons. Though everything was delicious, my guests particularly raved about the cake (flavor white chocolate raspberry) and how light and flavorful it was! Just Desserts by Jess will definitely be our preferred bakery for future events that call for cake or yummy desserts. My only complaint is that I don’t live close enough to the bakery to take advantage of her pop up sales!

Jess’s 50th birthday cupcake tower and cake topper was beautiful AND delicious! She was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and made the process easy and stress free. Thank you for helping make my milestone birthday party a success!

I had the most pleasant experience working with Jess and would highly recommend her! She was extremely professional, responsive, and accommodating. I shared a few pictures of our vision for the cake and overall theme and she shared her ideas and kept working with me until we got everything to the perfect place. My review is not only on behalf of myself, but to all of my baby shower guests who could not stop raving about my dessert table. Jess made a beautiful polar bear cake (I chose vanilla with nutella buttercream filling) with matching cake pops and cookies. All of the desserts tasted even better than how they looked. Everyone at my party kept asking me "How can a cake that looks so amazing taste so perfect too??" It is true, the cake was fresh, moist and so tasty. Jess even had her team come to my party venue and set up the dessert table which was worth the very little extra cost to not have to worry about smushing/ruining anything en route to your venue. I can't wait to use Just Desserts by Jess for future parties.

Just Dessert by Jess provided our cake for our wedding on 10/7/22 and it was not only beautiful but also SO delicious. We got so many compliments on it. I used Jess for my sister’s lemon themed bridal shower and was beyond impressed. Jess made cake pops, cookies etc for my daughter's bridal shower. Not only were they beautiful but everyone raved about how good everything tasted! Working with Jess was an absolutely wonderful experience. Not only was our wedding cake STUNNING, it was DELICIOUS!! Every flavor was so yummy when we were taste testing that we decided we had to have two different flavor cakes because we couldn’t choose which was better. We got my daughter’s Sweet 16 (actually 17) cake from Jessica. Due to COVID, we had to change our date twice. Jessica was very accommodating to the date changes. The cake looked amazing. It was everything we had discussed and tasted delicious also !!

Jess is the absolute BEST! I have worked with Jess on several occasions, but most recently for my Tiffany themed bridal shower dessert table. I found several pictures of the design I was interested in for several desserts including cupcakes, cakepops, macaroons, chocolate covered pretzels and wedding dress sugar cookies. Jess created exactly what I imagine and better! I am very picky and detail oriented and Jess is the best person to work with. She answered all my emails very quickly and kept track of all my special detail requests that I thought of up until the day of the event. She even delivered everything and was so prompt. Not only were her desserts beautiful, but absolutely delicious. I can't wait to work with her in the future for all my future events!

Jess would deserve more stars if that were possible. I never leave reviews but there is not a better pastry chef that I have ever tasted, so this had to be written. It doesn't end there though because when it comes to desserts, I think they should look beautiful too and you only need to check out her website to see the gorgeous creations she has made and such variety: Jess can do it all. Jess is professional, courteous and so very talented. There are two downsides though; Jess is so popular that she books fast, so don't diddle-daddle or your date will be booked by someone else! Also, once you've had one of Jess' desserts, it's very hard to enjoy anyone else's. They are THAT good!

Not only are her cakes absolutely delicious, her decorating is top notch. She is a true master - there is nothing she can't do. All of the decorations are perfect - her skill in crafting flowers, intricate lace, air brushing, etc. is absolutely incredible. She is a joy to work with. She will always be my "go to person" should I ever need another special occasion cake. Buy your cake from Jess and you won't be disappointed.

Jess made our cake for our rehearsal dinner and it came out delicious and perfect! We received so many compliments on the creativeness behind the cake and the fondant and inside fillings were so yummy! Will be using Jess again for our party needs!

Jess worked closely with me for over a year in order to create the perfect looking cake for my son’s Bar Mitzvah theme. Jess was brilliant in capturing the theme of his event in the cake she perfectly designed. She perfectly executed ideas I had and listened closely in order to design the perfect looking and tasting cake!!

Amazing!!! We used Jess for my sisters wedding and all I could remember was just how good the cake tasted. We went back to her for my own wedding and Jess went above and beyond. We got married at the Bronx Zoo and Jess put together a safari/animal print cake and found amazing cake toppers (that were featured in the NY Times!). The cake was DEEELLICIOUS. Jess was timely, helpful and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend for excellent, beautifully decorated wedding cake.

Another absolutely fabulous cake created by Jess...this time for my twin daughters 1st bday party. Jess is not only professional and easy to work with but her cakes are works of art! I wish I could go back and get married again so she could make my wedding cake! Not only are the cakes stunning but they taste amazing too. Her website has a whole gallery of pictures...I always look there to get ideas and then work with her to personalize the cake to exactly what I am looking for. Jess did a phenomenal job creating my wedding cake this past fall. She has amazing photos on her Instagram page and website for inspiration, which helped my husband and I narrow down what style we wanted. When I went in for the tasting, she helped me to think through more of the details on the size and look of the cake. The final product was stunning - beautiful and absolutely delicious! Jess made an absolutely GORGEOUS 2-tiered Unicorn cake for our daughter's 1st birthday. Not only was the cake delicious (highly recommend the chocolate cake/chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries), but the cake was equally beautiful. it was the talk of the party! Jess was easy to reach and very collaborative throughout the process. I sent her a few pics for inspiration and she made a few suggestions, which were spot on with what we were looking for. She even created an adorable smash cupcake for my daughter (which she devoured in minutes). Overall, she really brought our vision to life! When it came to delivery and payment, the process was seamless. She brought the cake right to our venue on time, which made our lives a lot easier. So word to the wise, order more of these than you might otherwise think necessary. They go--quickly!! Jess's creative dessert additions really helped contribute to making my daughter's shower a special one. We are also using Jess for the wedding cake and we are confident it will be brilliant!

Jess was amazing!! Jess created this incredible cupcake tower for us, which not only was extremely delicious but also very, very beautiful. The cupcake tower was basically our photo booth, because every guest wanted a picture next to it. Jess was also very responsive to email and a pleasure to work with.

What a cake! Jess created an Abby Cadabby masterpiece for my daughter's 2nd bday party and it was a hit! Not just a gorgeous cake but absolutely delicious. In addition, Jess was so easy to work with...a true professional! This is the second event I've had her make the cake and I will continue to use her for all future parties! Amazing!

Just Desserts by Jess did a fantastic job in executing a gorgeous Bridal Shower Dress CupCAKE. Not only did it have bling, but the pretty fuschia sash tied perfectly into our theme. Finally, great taste! It was so moist & Jess nailed the cream cheese frosting. Highly recommend.

We knew that for our wedding we wanted a DELICIOUS wedding cake. Taste was key. Jess made us the most delicious wedding cake - everyone was raving about it. It tasted better than any wedding cake I've ever had (vanilla ganache with buttercream icing). She is truly talented at decorating and did a great job on our simple cake design. She was so easy to work with and we appreciated being able to sample a slightly different combination. I never thought it would be so challenging to find a wedding baker to make mini pies, yummy shooters and to die for cake pops along with my cake. But it was! That is, until I found Jess. This girl CRUSHED IT! Not only is she just the sweetest most lovely young woman. But she delivered every last bit of my dream desserts. And everything was beyond DELICIOUS! The presentation was gorgeous. My naked pumpkin wedding cake was perfect. GET THE BANANA CREAM SHOOTERS. They will change your life. I didn't know I loved cake pops until I tried Jess's. Just Desserts by Jess was the best vendor we used for our wedding. Jess is so personable and she really listens and interprets what you want into a beautiful masterpiece. Not only was the cake perfectly detailed it was delicious! We got two flavors for our cake: chocolate ganache and red velvet and both were fantastic! She really knows how to make the bride feel calm and knows how to take a vision and make it a reality. The cake was better than I could ever have imagined. The cake Jess did for my daughter's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. It was beautiful and delicious. The wedding guests are still talking about the cake. We used Just Desserts by Jess for my daughters bridal shower and a friend who is a Culinary Institute of America (CIA) trained pastry chef told me it was the best cupcake she ever ate. Hearing this I knew we had made the right decision to turn down the complimentary cake from the reception venue and use Just Desserts for my daughters wedding as well. Not only was Jessica easy to work with to create a unique cake for the wedding, but it was absolutely delicious. The cake was light, extremely moist and melted in your mouth. It was a chocolate cake with a fresh raspberry and granache filling. One would expect it to be too sweet, but instead it was just the opposite, rich without the ultra sweet taste. My daughter got married on August 16, 2014. Just Desserts by Jess was recommended by a friend. I can't say enough good things about this bakery! Jess made an amazing wedding cake, both in looks and taste! Her other samples were delicious also, but the bride and groom decided on the cannoli cake, and it was out of this world! People are still talking about it! Jess was prompt in returning my calls/emails, the wedding cake was delivered early to the catering hall, and Jess was such a pleasure to work with. I give Just Desserts my highest recommendation!

I was referred to Jess while I was on a hunt to find a bakery that could create a cupcake tower instead of having a traditional wedding cake. I was so lucky for that referral because I don't think I ever would have found her otherwise! Just Desserts does not have a storefront at the moment, but with all the yummy goodness that is created by owner & baker extraordinaire, Jessica Minisci, that is sure to change soon! Her website has a ton of pics of her previous creations and they are spectacular. We sampled cupcakes from 3 or 4 other bakeries and none of them came close to these. Not only in taste, but also presentation. Other cupcakes we tried looked sloppy, did not taste great (despite having hundreds of flavor options) and their towers looked like they could fall apart at any moment (if they even offered them at all). I contacted Jess and she was nice enough to drop off cupcakes to sample in the flavors of my choice. She was so helpful, flexible and accommodating throughout the entire decision making process and very responsive to all my millions of questions. She talked me out of purchasing a large expensive cupcake stand on Etsy and, instead, had 2 extra tiers added onto her existing tower so it would fit 200 cupcakes (at no extra charge)! She even made little chalkboard signs that sat on the tiers so guests knew what all the flavors were. The tower looked ADORABLE when it was all set up! We could not get over it when we walked into the room and saw it...it looked so grand and was everything we hoped for and more! She made a small cake covered in white fondant (strawberry shortcake) to sit on the top tier so we could do the traditional cake cutting and then staggered the 4 cupcake flavors below - Nutella, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Vanilla Salted Caramel & Almond Coconut. They were delicious and our guests loved that they could just grab one off the display in between dancing. The price was reasonable too and included delivery, set up, 200 cupcakes & the small cake. Other bakeries wanted to charge $7-$12 PER SLICE for a traditional cake. The cupcakes were around $3 each. I highly recommend Desserts by Jess!!
