A bakery located in Chandler, Texas but an easy commute to the DFW area and any area in between. The baker is a Texas-born and raised lady who knows how important it is for food, especially cakes, and desserts, to look delicious and that those delicacies MUST deliver on taste! A blue ribbon baker as a young girl, now a lady known for her cooking. Here at Just For You, we meet with every client to create the dream cake experience for their special day. Our specialty is big flavor. Cakes are torted to balance the cake and icing/filling. As fondant is usually peeled off a cake prior to eating because it just doesn't taste amazing, we do not use fondant. Instead, here at Just For You, our cakes are iced in fresh homemade buttercream icing, stabilized whipped cream, cream cheese icing, or ganache. Our icing never comes from a bucket or tub but is always made fresh for each order, just like our cakes. We do not keep cakes ready to go. Instead, you are guaranteed the freshest possible cake for your event. Our cakes are always designed to be unique in flavor, just as every couple is unique. While traditional cakes are fun [and we love mixing up the flavors], we also mix it up with cake and cupcake combos, cookie cakes and cake and cookie combos, as well as cheesecakes and pies. Simultaneously, we can handle both the bride and groom's baked creations for your wedding. Once you contact us, we will discuss your unique desires for your cake, and then we will set up the tasting [tastings are complimentary with your order]. On your special day, we take care of delivery, with final assembly on site, for a beautiful final product. The birthday treats Colleen Conn made for my last birthday (August 2024) were made JUST FOR ME. Everyone in my family knows that though I am more of a savory than sweet person, my one pastry weakness is Petit Fours. Just in case you don’t know, Petit fours are small, bite-sized French confection often served after a meal. The name comes from the French phrase Petit Four, which translates to "small oven" in English, specifically the secondary ovens that French bakers used to cook the pastries after baking bread in brick ovens. The ovens would retain some heat after baking, which was enough to cook the pastries. As the ovens gradually cooled throughout the day, the gentler heat gave rise to the name Petit Four. Petit Furs can be cakes, cookies, chocolate pieces, or meringues, and they often come in a variety of shapes and decorations. They are commonly decorated with fancy icing or marzipan. Petit fours are a beloved treat around the world and can be found in Parisian patisseries and bakeries in New York. Unfortunately, Tyler bakeries, including those tucked inside major grocery stores, refuse to make them because of the time consuming, work heavy aspects of the creation. I was delighted to find Colleen’s website and so pleased with her willingness to tackle making these treats but blown away by the outcome. I have had Petit Fours from London to Lubbock, and these were the very best. No one in my family (other than my 91-year-old father) tends to lean towards sweet treats, so typically much of any birthday cake ends up in the garbage. But every single one of Colleens Petit Fours were eaten, and I was asked where they were, long after they were gone, numerous times. I want to order more, for no celebration reason – just to celebrate life, and Colleen Conn’s considerable talent. If you need a pastry of any kind, call upon Colleen. You will have no regrets!

We ordered a chocolate cake for Christmas last year. It was seven layers of wonderful! Moist and fantastic flavor. We had family begging for pieces to take home. We are ordering another Christmas cake this year!

We couldn’t be happier with the cheesecakes for our son’s rehearsal dinner. They were both beautiful and delicious and were a huge hit with our friends and family. Working with Colleen was wonderful. From our initial consultation to date of delivery, she listened, provided recommendations, and was attentive to our needs. I highly recommend Colleen and Just for You Bakery. I also recommend her Pecan Pie Cheesecake and German Chocolate Cheesecake. Delicious! They aren’t your typical size cheesecake. They’re approximately 10” round by approximately 8” high. One will easily serve 15-18. Although it’s a bit of a drive for us, we will definitely use Just for You Bakery again.

Just For You Bakery did the Wedding and Groom’s Cake for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding and they were not only beautiful but absolutely delicious as well! We had so many compliments and many of our guest have messaged me and used them for their events as well!!

I have always loved baking even as a young girl where I completed in 4-H cooking competitions achieving blue ribbons at the highest level of competition. As a wife, mom, Nonna, and educator I have always done specialty cakes and made baked goods for family, friends and staff. Cooking is just something that I love to do. As I depart educational administration I have taken hobby to new career. I am thrilled each time I am able to see the bride and entourage smile over the delicacy I have made for the event.
