Married: September 21, 2024 Location: Bishops Lodge, Santa Fe, New Mexico Working with Lauren was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Lauren is professional, attentive to detail, responsive, and made us feel very valued. We are located in San Francisco, but were planning our wedding in Santa Fe, so having a planner with local knowledge and connections was very important to us. Lauren is known and highly recommended in the area, and we already felt confident working with her from our very first meeting to discuss our venue decision. Lauren was very attentive and helped us bring our wedding vision to life. She is very organized, captured details we had even forgotten about, and helped take stress out of our planning process by keeping things organized, on track with timelines and deadlines, and managing identification of and communication with vendors. Lauren provided us with options but didn’t overwhelm us with too many - she also explained the pros and cons of certain decisions, and helped us to understand which ones would impact our day in what ways. Having the information and options presented in a curated way made decision making less stressful and more efficient. She was also always patient with us when we changed our minds, had questions, or just needed to talk something through! Lauren’s ability to execute everything smoothly on our big day was also very impressive. Lauren is calm, practical, and adaptable, and having this demeanor for our big event was helpful in assuring everything went smoothly. Anytime something needed to be adjusted, Lauren was adaptable and flexible, both with things out of our control (e.g., weather) and adjustments we requested throughout the day. All of our guests mentioned how beautiful it was, and even many of our speeches mentioned how well organized everything was, how comfortable it was, and how there was not a need to worry about anything leading up to or on the day. On our day, Lauren was on site with her assistant Leslie, who we also really enjoyed working with. Both of them as a team made our event so special. The planning process and the day truly were “just lovely.” P.s. would also recommend checking out her rental company, Darling Details. We worked with Lauren to curate many of our rental items through her rental company, so having both of these with the same person/team made it even easier and more organized in bringing all our wedding visions to life!

Hiring Lauren to be our wedding planner was the best decision my now-husband and I made during our planning process. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that Lauren had already established deep partnerships with many of the vendors that we hired. This was such a valuable benefit because we lived out-of-state. Having Lauren work directly with our vendors made the planning process so much easier. In many instances, Lauren took the initiative to have conversations directly with our vendors to work through the finer details and logistics. This was incredibly helpful to us because it allowed us to focus our attention on other areas of the planning. We had full confidence in Lauren to have these discussions without us present because of her deep expertise as a wedding planner. Despite being in different states, Lauren was always available to answer questions and acted as a sounding-board to brainstorm ideas. Lauren’s expertise was on full display on the day of the wedding. She was the glue that kept the day running smoothly and managed communication with family, vendors, etc. This made it so much easier for my husband and I to relax and enjoy the time leading up to the ceremony. Lauren is an absolute professional who will go above and beyond to help make your dream wedding come to life. It was also incredibly easy to work with Lauren on the decor rental and her inventory is beautiful! Lauren is amazing!! She helped answer so many questions as we planned our wedding and coordinated everything so flawlessly. She also truly went above and beyond on our wedding day when we were hit with crazy weather—all day rain, thunder, and hail!! Lauren not only communicated so well and eased our worries all day as we wondered if we would be able to hold our ceremony outdoors. She made sure we got a beautiful golden-hour walk down the aisle outdoors, RIGHT during a good weather window, and then gracefully moved everyone indoors and helped us keep things moving when thunder and hail hit right after we made it to the altar! It ended up being even more special than we ever could have imagined, and Lauren made it all happen without a hitch. She truly seems to know every wedding vendor in the state of New Mexico and is such a pro in every sense of the word. We loved working with her!

So grateful to Lauren and her entire Just Lovely Team! My husband and I were planning our wedding in Santa Fe, NM from a distance and were looking for a local wedding planner who knew EVERYTHING about the New Mexico wedding circuit. As a couple planning from California, we wanted someone who was completely unphased by our venue (La Posada de Santa Fe, also a strong recco!) and knew local vendors inside and out. We interviewed several local wedding planners but loved how Lauren was extremely design-oriented as well as organized-- and our wedding venue coordinator couldn't have recommended her enough. Lauren also owns Darling Details Rentals, which means she is a one-stop shop when it comes to planning and designing your wedding, from rentals, other vendor management, to day-of planning and setting up. She took our vision boards and brought it to life perfectly within our budget - working closely with our floral team, sourcing sage bundles to give to our guests, designing and creating all signage, even creating an incredible custom seating charts with beautiful vases and lavender blooms. The day of went perfectly without a single hitch. There is NOTHING Lauren cannot do! Thank you Lauren and Lesley for bringing our wedding to life.

My husband and I just got married in Santa Fe. Lauren was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She gave excellent advice about local vendors, connecting with all of them, and making us feel like our wedding would be as stress-free as possible. Where she really shone was in the little details that we never would have thought of that made the reception/dinner so much more personal. The day-of was so enjoyable for us because we didn’t have to think about anything, Lauren took care of everything. Lauren and her team at Just Lovely were incredible to work with. Lauren was all-in, so organized, proactive and the true subject matter expert that I was looking for to guide me through the wedding process. Lauren is passionate, detail-oriented, responsive, hands on, and so much more--she's everything you look for in a wedding planner! You can really tell she loves what she does and her experience really shines through. She anticipated things before they arose and handled things on my special day so I didn't have to worry about a thing. My only wish is that I would have hired her sooner in the process! The very first time we met with Lauren to discuss my daughter's wedding, I came away with the feeling that it was so nice to work with someone who was excellent in their job. As we progressed in the planning, this became more and more apparent - Lauren was focused on my daughter's vision, what we needed to do when, had wonderful recommendations for vendors, and kept us on track. Her organizational skills are excellent, and she is very familiar with the popular wedding websites, enabling us to make good use of them. Her demeanor is very calm, confident, and positive. Lauren was such a joy to work with during our wedding planning. We used her partial planning package and she truly went above and beyond for us. From the vendor suggestions (which were all amazing!) to her incredible eye for all of the tiny details (she helped put together the tablescapes of my dreams!), we felt so lucky to have Lauren’s help. She put together timelines, helped us with vision boards, and everything else we didn’t know we needed. The day-of, she was everything we could have asked for. We used her rentals company as well (Darling Details - which we also highly recommend!) and she was there first thing in the morning making sure everything arrived on time, was put together in the right spot, and just generally taking care of everything that I didn’t even know was happening. Our wedding was amazing and it was certainly because of Lauren and her assistant. We selected the month of coordination and it was such a smooth process. We met with Lauren a month before our wedding, provided our vendor list, ideal timeline, and did a walk-through of our venue. She was so knowledgeable about the venue, timing, seating charts, placement, and design. Even early on Lauren was so helpful with providing recommended vendors and providing direction as to what would fit our budget. The day of was a dream. The execution of our wedding was perfect in everyway and Lauren and her assistant knew exactly how to manage the vendors, the venue, us, and our guests. Lauren was amazing at putting our event together. We hired her for month of coordination. We had a good amount of details put together ahead of time, but Lauren helped to put together final timelines and coordinate everything with our vendors. Being from out of state, she was a huge help for our destination wedding. She coordinated our rehearsal the night before and even drove to Santa Fe to pick up my bouquet when the florist couldn’t deliver it. What impressed us most and made the service worth it was all the help day of. Besides my bouquet, we did all other flowers through bulk flowers of loose stems from Costco and Lauren and her assistant styled and assembled centerpieces and an arch that looked like they were from the most expensive florist around. She also made a beautiful acrylic seating chart. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing and my bridal party didn’t lift a hand and could enjoy themselves all day. The day went flawlessly and you could tell how much hard work and care Lauren put into our event, when all was said and done we were very thankful. She took our ideas and transformed them into something better we couldn’t have done ourselves. Look nowhere else for coordination and styling for your wedding or event! Lauren has the magic touch!

Lauren of Just Lovely is an actual angel. She went above and beyond on expectations, she is super organized, has great relationships with other vendors in the area and is just a wonderful human. Lauren stood by our side during the whole pandemic, where our venue downsized their size of events and Lauren helped us have a totally seamless transition. Lauren was a complete angel throughout the craziness that is planning a wedding in 2020/2021. When our venue cancelled all 2021 weddings she helped us with cancelling all our contracts and then when we decided we wanted to elope to our original venue she helped get that set up for us. This was all within months from original contracts, to canceling contracts, to elopement details. So a complete rollercoaster and Lauren handled everything seamlessly. She also helped navigate all our streaming options as we wanted our family to still be able to participate in the wedding. Our wedding was still everything and more, even though it was just the two of us which is largely in part due to Lauren and all the immense effort she went to for us.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Lauren is. She basically planned two weddings for us- one pre-covid, and one during cover. She not only helped me manage (stress-free) planning a wedding for 100+ people, but when plans changed, she helped me un-plan, and re-plan, an elopement instead. Wedding planning is a stressful endeavor in the best of times, but in 2020 the rules changed. Lauren was a dream support system for my groom and me and helped make our wedding beautiful and special despite the times- she even performed our ceremony! The best decision we made during our wedding planning process was hiring Lauren! I don’t know how anyone could plan a wedding without a Lauren. She kept us organized and on track with every detail (some things you would never have thought of) from start to finish. My favorite part of working with Lauren was her creativity and experience. I wanted our wedding to be unique, and she thought of so many creative ways to do that! (Not to mention she has the most AMAZING collection of furniture and decor rentals!) There were a lot of moments that we didn’t think something was possible but Lauren waved her magic wand and made our day a fairytale. Lauren is amazing! I can't say enough good things about her. We planned a destination wedding in Santa Fe from the East Coast so I had high expectations of what a wedding planner would look like and Lauren blew my expectations away. I interviewed multiple coordinators in planners in ABQ/Santa Fe and Lauren immediately stood out from the rest. Within five minutes of speaking with her I knew that she was detail-oriented, organized, creative and the exact type of person we needed on our vendor team. She was a dream to work with through the entire process; she always responded quickly, had answers for all of my questions and knew exactly what needed to happen next. We had a large wedding weekend with multiple events and moving pieces and Lauren went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place and that we were happy AND stress free the entire time. This comes from someone who is not into wedding planning and even "borrowed" Lauren from her friend, who's wedding is coming up soon. She is worth every penny. Lauren is absolutely amazing to work with! Highly reccomend hiring her for your day of coordinating needs. A list below of why!! 1. She does not limit your vision, she was so supportive and positive of my ideas and really wanted everything that I wanted to work out, she didn't force her ideas on me but kept with what I wanted. She certainly offered very helpful suggestions but never in a why that made me feel she didn't like my ideas, even if they were a little different! 2. I actually work at a wedding venue and do planning on the side part time so I was extremely particular about EVERYTHING (I know, super annoying) but Lauren did not miss a beat, she covered every detail and followed up on every single e-mail, call, text, request, etc. 3. She executed what we had planned. She followed through on all her commitments and made everything happen so seamlessly. She made the day so easy for us we didn't have to worry about a thing. 4. She stays calm throughout the day with a smile on her face. Even if something was going wrong or running behind, we had no ideas because she always stayed calm with us and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. I found hiring a wedding planner to be one the most challenging aspects of the planning process. I wanted someone highly competent and organized, who was also kind and easy to work with. Lauren is AMAZING!!! I worked with her first as a vendor and learned very quickly how organized she is and how very much she cares about her brides... Needless to say when my daughter became engaged she was the my first phone call!!! She is beyond sweet, REALLY listens, cares deeply about what the Bride & Groom want and their true vison and goes way, way above and beyond to make sure the tiny details become a reality! She bends over backwards to be flexible with schedules and works tirelessly prior to the wedding establishing timelines, calling vendors... hair & make-up artists, muscians, florists, transportation providers and on and on and on. Then on the event day ... she is there bright and early setting up, making sure everything is just as the bride wants it to be and that the event runs smoothly, she stays on top of everyone (catering managers, bartenders, servers, band members, etc...) and then POOF, makes it all disapper magically! I love her dearly and can't imagine how anyone could handle a wedding without Lauren and her Just Lovely Wedding associates... She also has a rental company with the most fabulous items - we used her chargers, lanterns, brass candlesticks, glass cylinders, copper chairs, copper vases, beautiful gold flatware, mercury votives... and MORE! She is truly a wedding angel!

We were new to New Mexico, so we had a daunting time trying to decide/find the best venues and vendors for our wedding. Lauren made this simple and easy. From location, to caterers, to florists, to live music - we would have been lost without her. The day of our ceremony was amazing. Neither my partner or I had to think about “is this vendor doing everything right...” or “is this vendor getting set up timely..” The entire day, we were able to focus entirely on us and our family and friends because Lauren was on top of it. I would recommend Lauren and Just Lovely to anyone.

Lauren with Just Lovely Weddings was such a pleasure to work with while planning our Santa Fe, NM wedding from Dallas, TX. She was an enormous help from beginning to end- from offering her recommendations for vendors in the early stages of the planning process since we weren’t able to visit Santa Fe before booking, to organizing all of the logistics between the vendors for the day of the Wedding, and answering any silly questions of mine in between :) With her as our coordinator, our wedding day truly went off without a hitch and so many of our guests commented on how seamlessly everything flowed. Lauren is super sweet/fun/ and extremely professional. She was always very responsive to emails and kept us in the loop at all times. We had such a great time working with and getting to know Lauren during the process and we can’t recommend her enough! I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT LAUREN. Not only do you get what you pay for, you get more and on top of it all Lauren is the most amazing, sweetest person there is. A native Texan who lives permanently in NYC- planning a wedding in Santa Fe might seem overwhelming. The best move I made in the entire process was hiring Lauren Mestas at ‘Just Lovely Weddings.’ Not only is she lovely to be around- she is the most organized, detail-oriented, and caring planner I have ever come across (and I work in the same industry in NY where I have worked with some of the biggest planners out there.) When I have asked friends who have gotten married what they wish would have gone smoother there is always something. The timing or the arrangement or the flow of the event. I can honestly say for both the events Lauren planned for me (the rehearsal dinner the night before and the wedding at the Loretto Chapel/ reception at Loretto Inn) there is not one thing that could have gone smoother. I do not have a single detail I would have changed because Lauren listened to me and all my requests and made it happen flawlessly. Even though I live in NY- I don’t think I could hire anyone else to plan and carry out an event (so I hope she travels:)) If you are looking for a fabulous planner and an amazing person- stop right now. Lauren is simply the best and I know I will work with her again. I wish there were more stars to give!

Where do we even start to say thank you? Lauren and her assistant were amazing, and we are so grateful for everything that they did for us. We would recommend them a thousand times over. Lauren went above and beyond her duties. Our wedding day was flawless (from our perspective) and incredibly happy, and that is hugely attributed to what they did behind the scenes. I hired Lauren for her month of wedding package and was extremely happy with her services. She was in contact with all of our vendors (and it feels like there were a hundred of them), she helped to set up some diy decor items that I brought, met with us outside of the month of, as we were not from the area, she ran our rehearsal quickly and effeciently, she kept the day of running smoothly, she even drove our photographer to the venue the day before so that she could check it out (she was also from out of town). There were a million things that she did that are not listed here and for all of those things we are so very grateful. She also had an assistant who was great and very helpful on the day of. Also, Lauren's fees are very reasonable and she is very upbeat and pleasant! Thank you Lauren for all of your help!!!!!

We used Lauren for month-of coordination for our wedding. She did a really good job helping us plan things ahead of the wedding, and I think she handled the many moving parts of our wedding well beforehand. However, she really fell flat on our actual wedding day, and for this reason I would not use her again. Before the wedding, there were a few tips she provided that were really useful, and she was timely in contacting most of our vendors. I think she would probably shine most as a full on wedding coordinator with lots of assistance with decor, etc. She was also very affordable relative to other planners we contacted. But, the whole idea behind having a wedding coordinator was to avoid my family spending lots of time on the day worrying about details, and Lauren didn't help much in this regard. I felt that she needed to be more assertive and proactive. There were many points where we needed something and she was nowhere to be found. For example, all the water glasses were supposed to be filled and weren't, so our guests were thirsty and had to bother the bartenders for water. Additionally, her assistant did almost nothing at the wedding besides play around on her phone. At the end of the evening, it wasn't clear what happened to the leftover food, LED candles were left on, and other details like that were not attended to. After the wedding, Lauren never called or emailed to follow up, which was especially weird because I had gotten heat exhaustion at the wedding and other vendors did email me to check in.

She always put our minds at ease and made us feel so much better when the pressure was on, especially because we were planning our wedding from out of state. Lauren had a great list of recommended vendors and always had great ideas and suggestions. She also did a great job decorating and she came through and helped decorate our wedding cake:) The day of our wedding she made sure everything ran as smooth as can be, we had nothing to worry about. She is quick to respond and is willing to help with every aspect of the wedding planning process. She provided us advice when needed and was open to all our ideas. She was willing to work with all of our ideas. Our wedding day was perfect and I couldn't have imagined it without Lauren. Lauren and her assistant set up all the decorations, which looked beautiful, and she made sure the entire day ran smoothly from getting ready in the morning to the grand exit. I cannot express enough how incredible Lauren is! I am a former wedding planner and was extremely nervous planning an out of state wedding and not knowing who I would be able to trust to help me. The first phone chat with Lauren and I was sold. This girl was on IT. She asked every right question, is an excellent listener and LOVES what she does! You cannot ask for anything better in a Wedding Planner. She is hard working, when she says she will call you, she does. She is organized, professional, and knows what she is doing. She had all of our vendors ready to go and everything was set come wedding day. Any little thing that came up, Lauren took care of it without batting an eye. I had high standards when choosing a planner and I cannot reiterate enough how great Lauren is at her job. She steps in and offers advice at all of the right moments. She hears your vision and works with you to make it a reality. Its very rare to find a wedding planner who takes ownership of the wedding like it was their own and that is all a bride could ask for. Lauren was an absolute joy to work with and she genuinely loves what she is doing. I cannot say enough great things about her - the girl crush is real!

Just Lovely came to the rescue! We were a month from the wedding when the event coordinator at our venue quit, leaving us feeling unsure and disorganized. They jumped in, organized everything, and made my wedding day smooth sailing. We couldn't have been more impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and all-around pleasant-ness! Lauren is a gem! We got married at my parents' house, which was sentimental, but required extra planning and vendors. Lauren was our guiding light through the entire process. Honestly, planning a wedding wasn't even a little stressful because I knew that I had Lauren organizing and executing. Before hiring Lauren, we met at a local hotel. She had arranged for us to tour the hotel rooms and had prepared the quote for our guests. Even before we hired Lauren she was already working on our behalf. She attended numerous meetings at my parents' house and was very flexible. We were planning the wedding from afar and she always did the legwork that I couldn't do. On the day of the wedding, Lauren was awesome. Our families are large and always have their hands on everything (in the best way possible) and Lauren was able to navigate everyone and keep the night moving. Our wedding day was the most special day of our lives and I am so thankful that Lauren was our planner. She was more than a planner, she is now a friend.

Lauren was from the very first day we met with her, calming, professional, and genuine to her trade, she was a natural. She was extremely dedicated to making our day our own, all while listening to our vision, she was responsive every time, and truly grounding for me as a bride when I had moments of feeling overwhelmed. Lauren Mestas with just Lovely Wedding & Events was the reason our wedding was able to happen. I am not exaggerating. We hired Lauren for the month of planning services, she was wonderful from the first moment we met her. She is very friendly and it felt like we were old friends almost instantly. The reason I say she is the reason we were able to have our wedding is that the night before our wedding my husband and his family suffered a tragic loss and we were forced to cancel at the last minute, not only did Lauren make all those calls for us so we could focus on our families but she also went above and beyond our contract and helped us reschedule every one of our vendors and then made the day of our wedding absolutely amazing. We truly were afraid that we have to postpone our wedding indefinitely while we saved enough to re-book everyone, Lauren and all our Vendors were very understanding and extended our contracts out to the new date we were able to book. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are to all our vendors but especially Lauren for organizing it all and making it so on the day of we had no stress and a wonderful time. When I was planning my wedding, I contemplated on having a day of coordinator. I thought it was not necessary. However, after thinking about it, I decided to look for one. The reason why I decided to hire a day of coordinator was because I wanted our day to be close to perfect. There are a lot of expenses that go into a wedding, and the last thing I needed was to deal with the florist or making sure the cake was delivered on time. It is important for your day to go as smoothly as it can. A lot of time and money go into your wedding day. That is exactly why we hired Just lovely to coordinate our wedding. Lauren and Krissy helped coordinate. My husband, family, friends, and I were very pleased with them. We loved them! Both responded to my every needs and understood what to do the day of the wedding. My wedding day was honestly stress free and I could have not asked for nothing more. There package was reasonable priced. It was worth the investment. I have gone to weddings where they have hired friends to coordinate. Please take my advice and do not do it. That wedding was disorganized and it was frustrating for the family. Leave it to Just Lovely Weddings to coordinate your wedding! They truly did a spectacular job. Thank you again, Lauren and Krissy :)

We hired Lauren Mestas to assist us for the final month and day of details for our wedding. Wow, that was the best decision we could have made. It was a pleasure to work with her and it took so much stress off our minds. Lauren was encredibly thorough with all our details and did a great job communicating with our additional vendors. Her communication with us was great. The price for such a competent planner was a fabulous value. Once we found her we wished we would have hired her for the entire 6 months before our wedding.

RUN! We hired her for the full planning package and got less than if we had done it ourselves. THREE separate vendors contacted me directly stating they refused to work with her after she dealt with them and wanted to inform me of her behavior. She didn't follow through at all, for example, the day after the wedding she had no idea where 50 slices of leftover cake and my TOPPER had gone or why the rental company's equipment packaging had been throw away. I had to replace these things on my dime. Simply put, STAY AWAY, she promises the moon but absolutely cannot follow through!!!!!!!!

Lauren and her team are amazing. My expectations were beyond surpassed. Lauren was the wedding planner for the day of my wedding but she went above and beyond that. The whole time I was thinking how the best decision I made was hiring her. She made my wedding day go so smoothly and answered any questions I had in a very timely manner. She was always there for us and even attended the meeting with our DJ even though I only purchased the "day of" package. She is incredible and so sweet. Melanie Armijo was our day of event coordinator. Scott and I planned our whole wedding but really didn't want to stress the week of the wedding at all. Just Lovely is worth every penny! They are affordable, but more importantly Melanie ran the show as if she planned the whole day! She was professional and has great communication skills. She wasn't overbearing or pushy with ideas and offered as much or as little input as we wanted. She really got to know us as a couple and what we dreamed our wedding would be like. When there were decisions on the big day that we couldn't make, she made them with our style and personalities in mind and was right on point! She brought 2 assistants for the wedding. We had about 360 guests and it went smoothly and seamlessly. There were a couple minor issues with guests and seating charts, but Melanie took control of everything so we didn't have to think about it. They not only ran the whole day and kept everything on schedule, but they packed up and moved every center piece, gift, card, and decoration to the house so we didn't have to and we knew they were safe. When we were looking for a company to help with our wedding day, we wanted personal touch and we found it in Just Lovely! I would absolutely recommend them and I know we will use them again for other events. Melanie you are amazing at what you do! Thank you!
