Just Marriage is a custom officiant service based in Tulsa, OK, providing meaningful ceremonies for all faiths and genders. Owner and lead officiant Rev. Bob Lawrence is dedicated to celebrating true love in all its beautiful forms. With a great appreciation for the couple's unique journey, he promises to craft a ceremony that pays fitting tribute to their special bond. Just Marriage was founded out of Bob's desire to provide a marriage service that extends beyond traditions and stereotypes. As an openly gay ordained minister of the United Church of Christ, he seeks only to deliver enjoyable experiences that authentically express the couple's personal commitments. This involves using his expertise and guidance to produce a ceremony that gives space to the couple's principal beliefs, distinct family arrangements, and beloved traditions. As the former Executive Director of the Tulsa Interfaith Alliance, Bob has performed an array of rituals, including handfasting and Unity Candle. His work has taken him to various venues across the USA, from courthouse steps to intimate church settings. Bob can perform non-legally binding unions covering vow renewals, alternative commitment ceremonies, and anniversaries. He is also fluent in sign language. At Just Marriage, couples can also avail of photography, rehearsal attendance, and communion services.
