Just The Melody Band

From the moment we reached out to JustTheMelodyBand, Melody and Edwin were the best! They were easy to reach, really listened to our requests, and made it a point to completely customize our BIG day. Our Italian and Cuban families were beyond pleased with the talent and musical choices played and sung live at our event. Edvin was a wonderful MC and hype man AND really connected with our guests, Melody's vocals were out of this world, Ronny blew the crowd away in his Italian performance, and DJ Cory knew exactly what to play to keep the crowd going. The musicians in the band were friendly, fun, and super professional! Last minute, we requested a 360 degree PhotoBooth and a keys player, and they delivered! Justin and I definitely made the right choice in hiring them, and we can't help but talk about the next event when we'd possibly need a band and DJ Hybrid package. We already know who we are going with!

When looking for a band for a multicultural wedding, we knew they had to be special. Just the Melody was the first band we reached out to and it was clear from the onset that we didn’t have to look any further because we knew they were the ones. Throughout the entire experience, Melody and Edvin were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and took the planning process seriously while also keeping it fun. We were able to have multiple planning meetings where they clearly listened to our vision and more specifically the energy we were hoping to bring to the entire evening. Our wedding included multiple different musical moments that Just the Melody was able to provide with aplomb. The ceremony was romantic instrumental music that transitioned to modern pop instrumentals during the first half of the cocktail hour. Then a Mariachi band took over the second half of the cocktail hour with Melody providing gorgeous vocals for a few songs before the 12-piece band took over the magic for the rest of the night. The band with Edvin as MC matched the energy of our guests the entire night in a way we never expected. After our first dance, a beautiful rendition of Luis Miguel’s”Por Debajo De La Mesa”, the band moved right into a wondrous lineup of Latin music including Cumbia, Bachata, and Salsa that got our guests up and on their feet. From that point forward the dancing was nonstop with both American and Latin music filling the air. They also helped us celebrate the joining of our Jewish and Latino cultures by playing the Hora followed by La Vibora De La Mar. Edvin and Melody worked well with our venue to time our fathers’ speeches when our guests paused for a moment to eat and they were thoughtful with the tempo of the night by pairing this with our father/bride and mother/groom dances. After dinner they brought the energy right back up and we even got to see some of Edvin’s unreal dance moves when the 90s/2000s pop music started up. We could absolutely not believe it when they allowed us to come on stage and belt out one of our favorite songs (Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”). It was a living dream (especially for the bride). We cannot say enough how much both of us and all of our guests absolutely adored Just the Melody. We have been told multiple times by our guests that they didn't expect to go to a concert along with our wedding and that they loved every minute of it. And we did too. The music the entire evening was exceptional and better than anything we could have come up with in our wildest dreams for the evening. Thank you Melody, Edvin and the entire Just the Melody crew - we could not have chosen better for our wedding!!

Edvin and the LTL team are amazing! They really made our wedding reception so much fun! We're still getting compliments from our guests about how much they loved the music and performances! Edvin was a great MC, he made sure to get everyone up for our entrance and kept the dance floor moving the whole time! Melody has a voice that is just out of this world. Ronnie was amazing and did a beautiful version of Con te partirò to top off our Italian themed wedding! Chris and Shaun brought so much energy, dance moves and their amazing voices. Our saxophone player really added an extra layer to the entertainment. Edvin was so great in the planning process and answered all of our questions. He was always happy to jump on a call. We'd highly recommend LTL and are now fans for life!
