They were absolutely wonderful! We got then whole weekend at no extra cost and they even let me know earlier than the weekend that everything was ready for us in case we wanted to start moving decorations or anything over early! Would totally recommend them to any bride and groom!
We had our wedding here in June of this year, and I couldn’t be any happier with this venue. First of all, Jeff and Rena are absolute amazing people and extremely accommodating. They truly want your wedding experience to be enjoyable, with the least amount of stress as possible. They let me come to the venue multiple times before the wedding to measure/take pics for decoration/planning ideas. Whenever I had a question Rena always got back to me quickly. They were there to help set up with whatever we needed Friday and Saturday AND back to help clean up Sunday. Before and during our wedding we had torrential downpour and tornado warnings!! Jeff and Rena did everything to make sure people were as safe as possible. To make this venue even better, it is absolutely beautiful. If you want a rustic venue this is your place. The barn is rustic and stunning and the views from where the ceremony takes place is breath taking. The house on the venue site where myself and my wedding party stayed was adorable, comfortable and extremely convenient. I fully recommend this wedding venue to anyone and everyone!!!

Located in Ozawkie, KS, Just the Place LLC is a versatile event space and wedding venue with ample rustic charm. This property has an expansive historic barn, built in the 1900s, and ready as a backdrop for your special celebrations.
Their Story
Rena and Jeff Kilgore created a marvelous property, and current owner Erin Rider, Justin Pittenger, and their team are dedicated to making events seamless and memorable for all guests. Raised in the Midwest, inspired by travels, and with decades of experience in catering and customer service, the venue's team offers Just the Place as the ideal backdrop for your festivities. The historic event barn has hand-hewn beams with a structure supported by tree trunks. The west side of this building opens out to an expansive patio with a sweeping view of the Delaware River valley. You can enjoy a gorgeous backdrop as you exchange your vows, as the property is surrounded by 40 acres of prairie. The 1920s farmhouse on the premises is fully furnished and features the Groom Room and the large Bridal Suite in the loft, as well as a kitchen, bathroom, and deep freeze.
Bringing Your Day To Life
The reception barn of Just the Place LLC can accommodate up to 150 seated guests inside, while up to 200 guests can be hosted outdoors. You can enjoy a single-faith, multi-faith, or non-religious ceremony on these premises, with services to realize it. These include wedding planning and design, catering, and the presence of service staff.

I believe every wedding should feel personal, welcoming, and uniquely yours. That's why I love working closely with couples to create a stress-free experience where they can focus on what truly matters: celebrating with the people they love.
