The party was hours out of town for us, and over an hour for her, yet everything went smoothly! She helped us get prepared by going over every detail of what is needed and quantities. On the day off the party, she and her team were punctual and made everything go smooth. The food was to die for! All guests were raving about the food, starting with the appetizers and ending on deserts. WOW! All delicious and so beautiful to look at too! The staff was so polite and nice, the bartender was great too! After the party, all leftovers were stored away, location was cleaned up and we didn't have to do anything other than enjoy the party and relax. Five star service and food! She even recommended the baker and the flower company, which were also wonderful. One stop shop for everything and I do not regret one thing!

They took care of everything with such grace and ease, including some last-minute surprises. When unexpected rain rolled in, they managed it beautifully without missing a beat. They even recommended a wonderful babysitter to look after the kids, which made a huge difference for us and our guests. With Marylyn’s talent and recommendations, the event space was transformed into an elegant five-star hall. Guests were in awe! People couldn’t stop going back for seconds (and thirds!) But hands down, the star of the night was my favorite, the pumpkin lasagna! It was subtle and magnificent, our guests talked about it for days and my mother-in-law stopped to tell Marylyn too how much she enjoyed it! Beyond the food, what truly made the experience so extraordinary was how incredibly friendly and accommodating Marylyn and her catering staff were the whole time. We didn't consider custom drink requests as early as we should have but they were so accommodating, they didn't miss a beat. Marylyn was more like a full-service event planner, as she took the time to get to know both my husband and I, as well as our full plan for our wedding day. She invited us into her home for a tasting, where she also took the time to get to know us, how we met, our families, and how we envisioned our wedding day to play out. Throughout the planning process, she worked with the company we planned rentals from, including the tents, tables, chairs, linens, appliances, etc., and she triple-checked all items to ensure every detail matched our vision for our wedding. She asked just about every question imaginable, and helped make sure we weren’t missing any important area/item. Her incredible organization, communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail aside (!!!), the food that was served on our wedding day was the true stand-out. Just wow! We chose five passed appetizers; roasted chicken and eggplant parmesan for the two mains; as well as a host of side dishes; and everything was absolutely delicious. My guests are still raving about how amazing everything tasted! By working with Marylyn, I felt such a calm in my heart, knowing that she would take care of everything and ensure our wedding reception was flawless. Unlike other caterers, she took the time to understand our needs, preferences, and budget constraints during an initial call. For us the party was an “in between”, not quite a wedding so it needed to be more intimate, personalized touch but we still needed all the services of an event planner from parking to bar tending to setup and breakdown in addition to great food.
