When we finally did have the pleasure of meeting Justen at our rehearsal dinner, we immediately felt comfortable working with him. ediately we knew that we were in good hands! Justen’s style was exactly what we were looking for our brewery wedding in Atlanta! We felt comfortable with him after our first meeting and knew that our pictures were going to turn out great! We had some miscommunication regarding a second shooter (our original photographer was going to be the second shooter if he schedule cleared) and on the day of our wedding I was expecting one to still show up. Justen did not skip a beat and before I know it he had a second shooter there. I really appreciated that Justen stepped up and made sure we were happy and not stressed on the day of our wedding! O gorgeous. They remind me of those still paintings you see at the Metropolitan museum. He is so professional, he will make sure he finds the BEST places for your photos. He loves what he does and it is infectious. My wedding day was blistering hot (in september- who knew?) but him and his assistant were literally all smiles and laughs all day. They were such a pleasure to be around. He is one of those vendors that starts off giving you warm and fuzzies and then by the end of your day, you've gained a friend. Who knows how to take the MOST beautiful photos of your day.

We absolutely love ALL of our wedding photos - they will be cherished for the rest of our lives. how our pictures came out. Everyone kept asking us if Justen was a friend of ours, and all I could say was "Well now he is!" He is SO easy to work with and accommodating, it felt like we had been friends for years. We sent him some shots before the wedding of certain looks we wanted to get, and he nailed it. We only had an hour with him after the ceremony, and he was able to get all of the shots and more in just an hour! Do yourself a favor and book this guy! He has an eye for creative/candid moments that some photographers take YEARS to be able to get. On a professionalism note, from the moment we initially contacted him all the way until the wedding day, we were consistently pleased with how helpful and communicative Justen was. He worked with us across time zones and many months of planning to help us feel secure about our choice of photographer for our day and was prompt to reply to our questions. When it came to sending us our wedding photographs, he even mailed our flash drive to us in England, which was great. As for his craft, the quality of his work is really above par. The photographs we had from our event were beautiful...both Justen and Ann Marie were full of ideas and made my husband and I feel so comfortable to have them around with us on the day as they both have such warm, welcoming personalities. ork with, and we couldn't recommend them more! We found Justen through The Knot. We currently live in San Francisco, but our wedding was in Atlanta (where we're from). We were unable to coordinate a meeting with Justen before the wedding, but he was so easy to work with long distance! He requested a shot list of all the family photos we wanted, and helped us go through the day-of timeline so we were able to get all the photos we wanted! Justen and his assistant showed up early to check out the venue, and then got right down to it! It was clear they knew exactly what we wanted out of the day and how best to get the different shots, all while coordinating the wedding party, our first look, and our families :) We got the photos within about 2 1/2 weeks, and they're all fabulous! We're so happy with all of the shots! In addition, while we all got along and Justen and his assistant blended in with our group, we never felt the presence of photographers! It all felt completely natural, and they managed to be everywhere all the time! It was such a joy to see photos of some of the things we ourselves missed out on! There were a lot of small details I didn't have the capacity to notice :) Also, they captured our families perfectly! My groom and I were all over the place, so we missed out on a lot of great dance circles, and goofing around. It was so fun to look through the pictures and see what everyone was up to! It was a great party and a beautiful day, and we're so pleased that Justen was there to capture it all! He and his assistant have a great eye for everything from the large-scale family portraits to the candid moments and small details. We didnt want our wedding day to feel like one giant photo shoot, so we were so very thankful to have Justen and Ann Marie capture all the key shoots (and some great candids that we will cherish for a long time) without me or our bridal party ever feeling crowded or overwhelmed. Pictures came back to us quickly both on a flashdrive and the website. Would recommend to future friends getting hitched!

The only time I felt things were a little disorganized was during the family photos. It would have been helpful for Justen to have requested a detailed list of photos we wanted so he could ensure we got them all and it ran more smoothly. It was pouring rain on our wedding day, but Justen used that to his advantage and really captured the beauty in that. The photos are all very crisp and enchanting. on July 13th, 2013. Justen and Ann Marie were my photographers. I did not get to meet them before the actual wedding day, and one of my biggest fears was that they would be creepy, unfriendly, bossy, too in your face, etc. I've heard horror stories, but that aside I have to start by explaining I worked at a photography store for three years. I have seen the good, bad, and just plain stupid ugly of photography. Choosing a photographer was the hardest decision for me because having been exposed to all types of personal styles I was led to have a personal preference to color, lighting, contrasts, angles, etc. I went through at least 20-30 emails from photographers in the Atlanta area and none of them were a match. When I found his webpage I was in awe and immediately knew A) I loved the style B) I didn't care how much it would cost because of the quality and C) I would be able to look back at the photography and remember how I really felt, not happiness the photographer wanted to force pose (because some photographers do that instead of just capturing love). Budget: I had budgeted realistically $3,000 for photography because I know ***quality photography is worth the money***. Think about it you will be looking at these photos for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. No one wants an awkward prom pose looking photo, right? Not only was he almost a thousand under budget for full coverage of the day, he barely asked for any gas money (which most photographers will do in excess). He shoots solo, or offers a second photographer for an amazingly cheap fee (our 2nd shooter was his sweet wife). Experience: Justen and his wife showed up a little early to scope out the place. She came right upstairs, introduced herself warmly, and hung out just doing her thing. She genuinely seemed happy to be there instead of it just being another shoot. Like I mentioned earlier I was worried about them personally (I saw their work, loved it but hadn't met them yet). I had been emailing other photographers and when I saw other people's profile pictures they looked like old coked out weirdoes which also came through in phone conversations. I didn't want any distractions on such a special day. Justen and Ann Marie were perfect at blending into the crowd. They were also patient with our families (we have a TON of queen bees, and bossy people). They were so professional and friendly. Quality/Style: We got the photos within a month of the wedding. Because we live out of state they mailed us the files on a USB drive, with a sweet thank you note. Nice touch! We got almost 700 FLAWLESS photos. The feel of the photos were joyful, light hearted, full of love, and highlighted small details to help us remember everything about the most important day of our lives. If I had to describe their work I would say it is a genius mix of the following adjectives: -Enchanting -Whimsical -Alluring -Elegant -Graceful -Warm -Inviting -Peaceful -Perfect -Lovely

ore the day-of about what style I was looking for, which was very natural/ not staged-looking. He did a phenomenal job of making my concepts and ideas into beautiful photos. My album included a mixture of posed shots with candid moments in a great documentation-style capture. His photos really did portray a timeline of the day start to finish and now we can relive the excitement with each photo. He was also very laid-back and very eager to give us the shots we wanted. He directed us when necessary and just listened when we had ideas. His mixture of flexibility and professionalism was perfect. I would recommend to anyone anxious about getting the right moments captured with the right look and feel to hire Justen.
