I reached out to Justice Elizabeth Gemelli regarding officiating our marriage after receiving the recommendation from our wedding venue Willowdale. She was very prompt and professional, and we met via zoom to discuss our wedding details as we live some distance away. She offered tons of ideas and always had a wonderful and fun presence, and we knew she would make our ceremony memorable and unique. She gave us general guidelines and allowed us to entirely customize the ceremony to really represent who we are. She did a fabulous job and we are so fortunate that she helped make our wedding perfect.

JP Liz was amazing! Really appreciated how she made the ceremony about us as the couple. She wrote out the ceremony and worked with us on all the wording and made sure we were comfortable with the entire ceremony. My out-of-town guests (South, Midwest, and Pacific Northwest) all loved her Boston accent too!

JP Liz was the officiant for our wedding ceremony in 2021 with a small crowd (our parents) and the officiant again for our renewal of vows and reception with the rest of our family in 2022. We had a stellar experience working with her at both occasions. She provided us ample choices for the ceremony, including different phrasing of the vows, and took the time to get to know us as people to craft something uniquely us. She gave us a draft of the ceremonies with plenty of time for review and recited them beautifully. She even printed off our vows on special cards so we would have them as a memory. We love that Liz is incredibly kind, warm, and funny. She was also so helpful even beyond our ceremony. For example, she gave us a book for wedding planning and was always open to providing advice when I would ask questions about topics outside of the ceremony. I will never forget her saying, "Getting married is special. There's something different when you get to call each other husband and wife. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise." And I have to admit; this will stick with me forever. It is special, and the ceremony made it even more special, thanks to Liz.

My husband and I truly cannot say enough good things about Liz. Not only did she initially marry us (me & husband only) during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in August of 2020, but she came back to do our ceremony in front of all of our loved ones on 8/27/2022 and offered to do so for free. Elizabeth is by far the best!! She is such a sweet lady – when we met her, it seemed like she was an old friend. She is easy to talk to and takes a lot of time with meetings so you never feel rushed, which is something I value and appreciate. I don’t want to spoil any surprises, but when we first met with her, we walked into her office and she did a special welcoming for us – at that point we knew we wanted her to marry us. She is fun, nice, creative, and has great ideas, too! She was a wedding planner for a long time so also gives you tips and tricks on wedding planning. She also gifted us the book she wrote on wedding planning (it’s a super informative and cute book)! I cannot say enough great things about Elizabeth. Sadly, our wedding was postponed to next summer due to COVID – Elizabeth has been very caring and understanding throughout the entire process. We highly recommend her and cannot wait for her to marry us next year. I will leave another recommend next year, which I know will be great. But, in the meantime, I wanted to leave a great review, because she has been superb! Thank you, Elizabeth!

Liz was amazing! We hired her on our first meeting that’s how much great energy and professionalism she conveyed. Liz walked us through everything and gave us lots of good ideas and language options to personalize our ceremony. She also ran our rehearsal like a complete pro! She was our favorite and best hire! JP Liz is truly the best!! We decided to get married in Boston before our destination wedding in Miami. We hired JP Liz to do a small ceremony with just our moms and siblings (and our dog Stella) and it was so memorable! She made it so personal and did such a beautiful job! She was sure to include the important aspects of our lives, especially my husband's father who had passed away. She was so caring and thoughtful throughout the whole process and we cannot thank her enough for managing such an important part of our wedding!

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Elizabeth as our JP for our wedding. Working with Elizabeth was fantastic! We wanted a ceremony that blended the different traditions of my husband's and my family's while keeping the ceremony focused on our relationship. There is not enough words to describe how wonderful Liz was! We only had her as our officiant, but she truly felt like another wedding planner. She was so helpful with our ceremony by providing different options that we can do. She helped us with our family and bridal party and how they should walk down the aisle. Liz was so easy to talk to and if you didn't make a decision on something she would provide advice on how to tackle some of the harder things of wedding planning. She was willing to meet whenever you needed to meet with her. We did not have a rehearsal at our wedding venue, but had one elsewhere and she was more than happy to come to help us practice! Justice Elizabeth Gemelli made our wedding day so special from the beginning of planning our wedding down to the day of. She was professional, responsive and personable, actually getting to know us as a couple! We met and messaged back and forth several times, her experience and advice shining through. Having already decided to get married outside of the church, we debated asking a close family relative to become ordained and marry us to add extra meaning to our day but grew weary of the experience level and comfort with public speaking needed to actually coordinate and run the ceremony. Now we know that we couldn't have made a better choice because we got to meet such a lovely person who got to know us as a family member, as well as being able to rely on her expertise. The wording throughout the ceremony was also beautifully written and unique to us, something we will cherish always.
