Steven guided both my husband and I through the entire process leading up to our wedding. He was always very easy to communicate with, and took care of things in a very timely manner. During the ceremony itself, Steven prepared a wonderful service, and I have been hearing from guests still how much they truly loved it and thought what a perfect job he did. We genuinely cannot recommend him enough!!

We couldn't have asked for a better person to join us on our wedding day and marry us. Steve was very professional right from our first contact. He was always responsive and followed up calls with emails to make sure everything was correct. All of my family even commented how how he did such a beautiful job at our ceremony. He even took care of our marriage certificate that same night we got married. If you need someone to join you on your special day to get married, I highly recommend Steve. We could not be happier! Steven did such an incredible job from start to finish. I had worked a wedding (i’m a photographer) with Steven and was lucky to be able to see him in action and immediately hired him after seeing him officiate. He carried himself with kindness and ease and was very thoughtful about every single moment of the ceremony and I said to myself; this is exactly what I need at my wedding, and he delivered! Steven walked us through every step, getting the marriage license timed properly, all of the info we needed on where to go, he sent us a drafted script after we gave him a handful of details about our ceremony and ourselves. We were able to make adjustments and approve a final script. We were then contacted closer to the day of our wedding to follow up on any changes, or updates and the day of, Steven was very well prepared, arrived early, and guided us through our ceremony with love. I highly recommend Steven, he made the process a breeze, from the first email/phone call Steven explained exactly what we needed to do and how the process works, he answered all of our questions, I knew after that first conversation that we had made the right choice in going with a professional rather than having a family member/ friend fumbling through it along side us. Steven sent us a ceremony script that we added a few personal touches to which made it feel like it was written just for us. We did not have to memorize anything, Steven guided us through the ceremony seamlessly, he ad libbed a few things which made the ceremony feel more relaxed rather than stiffly sticking to a script, which was great. Steven had worked at our venue before and knew a few of our vendors which gave me confidence that the day would go smoothly. Choose Steven and have one less thing to worry about.

Everyone knows how stressful a wedding can be. So many worries and important decisions to make. As soon as Steve began the ceremony i knew we made the right decision. Our wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful.. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Everything we had dreamt up in our heads leading up to our big day. We couldn't be happier. Steve is truly a master of his craft. So well spoken.. so professional. Steve made us feel so comfortable on such a nerve wracking day that we forgot anyone else was even there at all! We just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such beautiful ceremony and the perfect start to our perfect night.

Steven was helpful from the time I reached out to him. He answered all our questions and thoroughly explained the process through phone conversations and emails. He was also very flexible about adjusting the script in order for the ceremony to match our needs. I highly recommend Steven for his professionalism.

Steve was so nice and helpful throughout the whole process. He informed us of everything we needed to do to officially get our marriage license and when to do it in the state we got married. He also asked us questions to really get a feel for us as a couple and made sure to go over the plan for what he would say (pronunciation, vows, etc.). He also went above and beyond to help us when we had an issue with the paperwork, going out of his way to meet with us despite being busy. We highly recommend him to officiate any wedding :)

Steven was absolutely amazing! He was very prompt on answering any questions. He made sure we knew every step and was extremely detailed on his process during the ceremony. We opted to not write our own vows and instead had Steven use his version and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. During our ceremony it rained (which we know now is good luck 😉) he projected his voice amazingly so all our guests could hear him and also stuck through the rain with us to finish the ceremony. I could not have asked for someone better to marry my husband and I. Also sent us a card after the ceremony to our home with more congratulations. He is amazing and so personable. If you’re looking for those qualities then trust me you cannot go wrong with having Steven being your officiant. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Steven is amazing! Our guests had such wonderful things to say about him and our ceremony- specifically that he kept the energy upbeat and entertaining. Steven was PERFECT! He made the entire wedding ceremony and marriage certificate process very easy. He gave step by step instructions and timeline when it came to applying and receiving the marriage certificate. Steven was the officiant at our wedding and we couldn't be happier that we went with him for our day. He was present and helpful throughout the process. Steven was amazing! I originally found him from a recommendation of a different JP and so glad we did. He was so easy to get in contact with. When we talked on the phone he was SO friendly, but in a genuine way. I consider myself a shy introvert but Steven made me feel like somebody I knew for years. When we got close to the wedding he checked in and assured me he would arrive early. On the day of he was great. He worked great with the photographer so she would know the cues of how the ceremony was going to work. His ceremony was perfect. He also mentioned to me during our initial phone call that he loves private ceremonies (which is what i did) and I could tell he was in his element. I'll definitely recommend him to anyone in the area!

We booked Steve early on in the planning process for our destination wedding but ended up finding a priest, given our catholic background. I am so bummed we aren't using Steve, he was the vendors we were most confident in! His professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, strong communication and wonderful personality made us book immediately. His expertise is immediately apparent and his calm, reassuring personality is a huge bonus. Anyone would be luck to be married by him!

We hired Steven for our wedding ceremony in Boston. We could not recommend Steven enough! Steven was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the whole process. After our first call, he sent us instructions on the entire marriage license process, which we knew nothing about, so he made it easy. After our discussion he sent us an initial draft for a ceremony script based on what we had discussed. He did this promptly. We were excited we wanted to make the script more personal to our story and wanted to shorten some things. So we hopped on a call and shared our story with Steven. He really took the time to listen, ask questions, and truly get to know us and our story. We let him take it from there and he nailed it. Any adjustment we wanted was made with ease. On the day of, Steven felt like someone we personally knew. He delivered the script beautifully, so much so, that we had dozens of guests after the ceremony come up to us and ask us who he was and how we knew him(is he a friend, and family member). Even though it was the first day we had met Steven he made it feel like we knew him for years to not only us but our guests too. Highly highly recommend!

Steven went above and beyond for my husband and I's wedding this past weekend. He was so invested in our story and created a beautiful ceremony with us. We hired Steven Martins for our ceremony 11/12/23. I had made our expectations clear & he went above and beyond to meet those expectations. He was kind, honest, and hilarious. We knew he had a ceremony a little earlier in the day so he would be cutting it close & although it was closer than he preferred he was there exactly when he said he would ready to go like he had been there all afternoon. Steven was amazing! He was eloquent, clear, on time and very well spoken. He was the simplest part of the wedding process. From the beginning, he was clear with what to expect from him during the ceremony. He answered every question we had and made every adjustment we asked including a moment of silence. Steven is very down to earth, humble and kind. Steven really puts thought and details into the creation of the ceremony. I’m so happy I chose Steven to be our officiant. Steven was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. We went back and forth on whether or not to have a family/friend officiate or to hire a professional. Steven is a professional who truly comes off as if you’ve known him for years! We had family coming up to us asking how long we’ve known him for because they thought he was a longtime friend of ours. He sent us the “script” for the ceremony for us to read over and make any changes. He walks you through the marriage license process. He checks all of the boxes and makes it as easy and smooth as possible. When it came to the ceremony- I was a nervous reck and he made us feel so comfortable. His words are beautiful but also managed to make the room laugh a few times. The perfect balance. I truly can not say enough good things! I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

His personality is fantastic and he just has this bright fun aura. After the ceremony our guests complimented how beautifully written his script was and how well he delivered it. The whole process could not have been any better. As he arrived to the venue, Steven came and checked on my husband and myself and made sure everyone was ready. I’ve already recommended Steven to many friends and family who are looking to get married. We truly could not have asked for a better JP for our wedding. We are forever grateful!

When I found Steven Martins on the Knot I was blown away by his reviews. I was so excited that he had the date of our wedding open (always worth an ask- he does book quickly). He was quick to respond and we set up a phone call for the same weekend! Talking to Steven on the phone I instantly realized that he was not only the person I wanted to officiate our wedding, he was also the ONLY person I wanted to do it. Talking to him was like talking to a friend, it was easy and flowed well. He had a vision for our day and sent over a script which I read through and adored. I must say, however, it was EVEN BETTER in person. I thought that the best part of our wedding would be the party but it was the ceremony. Steven Martins has the perfect wit, genuine caring, and fast thinking to keep a ceremony moving without awkward moments ( we were worried because we didn't rehearse and we were both VERY nervous for the ceremony). The things that Steven said during our ceremony are still in my head clear as can be, and that was almost two months ago. He made it all so special. It felt so real, and when Steven spoke I felt like it was only me and my partner in the room. It was so intimate. In Steven's words I saw my future with my husband, I saw what marriage really is and the commitment it holds and why we have weddings and what really matters about them. After the wedding I had tons of family members and friends come to me asking how I found him. They all loved the ceremony and many said he was the best officiant and it was the best ceremony they had been present for. I may be biased but it was the best ceremony in the world to me. I have regrets about certain aspects of my wedding (don't we all? ) but there is no doubt in my mind that the best decision I made besides marrying my husband was hiring Steven Martins to officiate it. Steven was the perfect fit for our wedding! We had several phone calls throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding to make sure we were all good to go. He even sent reminders on when to get your marriage license and directions on how to obtain it. He also sent the script for our wedding beforehand so that we could look it over and make any changes we wanted to it. Steven was always available for us when we had questions and was super helpful throughout the planning process. We didn't know Steven personally but you would have never known at the wedding. He did such an amazing job and he is a total natural at this! I personally asked for an unplugged ceremony in which Steven fully supported and even took the time to make the announcement before the ceremony started. I am not sure exactly what he said but I know it worked because there was not ONE cellphone in any of our wedding photos!! I would highly recommend Steven to be a part of your special day!!

Steven is the absolute best! He was incredible to work with, flexible with the last minute changes I made, communicative, and just such an amazing officiant. I really can’t say enough about his presence on our big day if you’re looking for your day go with Steven Martins!
